My recovery journey here is not yet complete but I can tell you this places is amazing, the staff are so helpful and supportive. My initial rehab helped me so much, the food is pretty good and the classes are even better. They really help you find your spirituality and connect you with the place. I’m currently in the sober living program here and it really helps, we go to all the alumni meetings and NA meetings in the area. The PHP program is awesome with good staff along side of you. As far as all the aspects of recovery I would highly recommend this place as your start and finish.

BBH is an incredible facility with a proven track record of success. The staff are the backbone of the facility and they do everything in their power to provide the best care for their clients. Everything is geared to ensure the clients are comfortable, have everything they need during their stay, and make sure clients are set up for success on their recovery journey. The facility is so serene and peaceful with very picturesque views, comfortable rooms, inviting common areas with movies, books and games, and incredible food. Your clients will succeed if they do the work while they are at the facility and complete recommended follow-on care plans. I recommend becoming an Alumni because of the family-style community it has established. You matter and BBH makes sure that you know that.

Ashley Addiction Treatment is a truly special place doing incredibly important work. What has always stood out to me is the compassion, dignity, and genuine care they bring to helping people and families impacted by addiction. Recovery is about so much more than treatment. It’s about helping people feel seen, supported, and hopeful about what comes next. Ashley clearly understands that and has built a community around it. I’m grateful for the work they do and the difference they continue to make in so many lives. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ashley to anyone looking for help for themselves or someone they love.

I transitioned into Ashley Outpatient immediately after being discharged from inpatient treatment on January 7, 2025, and the continuity of care made a significant difference in my recovery. I completed my assessment on January 8, 2025, and began the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) the following day. From the start, Ashley Outpatient provided a structured, supportive, and clinically grounded environment that helped me stabilize and build momentum. The IOP schedule—group therapy three times a week and individual therapy twice per month—was thoughtfully designed and highly effective. The group sessions offered connection, accountability, and shared insight, while the individual sessions allowed me to work through personal challenges with focused therapeutic support. The staff consistently demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and a clear commitment to evidence-based care. On May 2, 2025, I transitioned into the Outpatient Program (OP), which continued to provide meaningful structure while allowing me to practice greater independence. The OP schedule of twice weekly group therapy and monthly individual sessions has supported my ongoing growth and helped me maintain stability as I navigate daily life. I have attended all required sessions and remain actively engaged in treatment. I am still currently participating in outpatient services, and the continued support has been essential in strengthening my coping skills, reinforcing healthy routines, and sustaining long term recovery. Ashley Outpatient has been a reliable, effective, and empowering part of my treatment journey. I am grateful for the program’s structure, the dedication of the staff, and the consistent encouragement that has helped me move forward with confidence.

Maryland recovery definitely has an amazing program. Like anything in recovery you have to be open to change. The councilors to the coordinator are all amazing they give u as much information as possible while giving the tools to succeed. All the employees have been thru addiction and that matters they have been thru the trenches of addiction and have been successful with their recovery and are very supportive of whatever u have going on. I learned so much from MRP from the way ur brain is affected to the coping skills to help u move thru ur recovery. I love everyone at MRP and will recommend them to anyone who is serious about actually getting well. Thank you Alex, Chris, Sean, Brittany, Laura, and the whole team there for changing my life for the better

I had a few options after detox/rehab for a step down program to continue working on my recovery. I am very happy that I chose to go to MRP. From the initial assessment to my next step afterwards, I was supported and involved with every single part of this process. Kim was my counselor and she treated me like I was her own son. She helped open up and talk about things that have been such a struggle for me my whole life. The groups were very informative and enjoyable at the same time. As much as we worked on our recovery, we also had a lot of fun while I was there. We went bowling, to the movies and fishing when the weather permitted. I am so thankful for every single staff member who helped me with everything that I needed. I was so nervous on my way there but that feeling disappeared as soon as I stepped in the door. I was a bit sad to leave but I was also very excited to move on to the next chapter of my life. Again thank you MRP, I appreciate y’all so much.

We are and have been incredibly impressed with MARC’S recovery program. This is so much more than just a 30-day inpatient program. This is round 2 with our son in an inpatient 30-day program. First round included 60-day housing program with another recovery team. Choosing MARC after a 30-day inpatient, has gone beyond our expectations. The plan of treatment was SO individualized to our son’s needs. The program included substance recovery and truly addressed his mental health. The communication with the staff was clear and quick to respond. The program incorporated weekly family therapy which educated us on addiction and taught us how to communicate again without waking on “eggshells.” The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my son’s success. The program provided the tools, support, and guidance he needed to rebuild his life and strengthen my relationships with our family. Including family in the recovery process has made a tremendous difference and helped create a strong foundation for lasting recovery. His courage and confidence have made him a strong individual. We highly recommend this program to anyone seeking comprehensive, compassionate care with a successful recovery. My son has chosen to remain with his therapist as his outpatient. The trust and bound with his therapist is strong.

What can I say im here every six months for routine check-ups. The staff are very friendly, and professional. Sometimes you may experience long wait times when seeing a doctor, however that has rarely happened to me personally. The pharmacy staff are awesome, and very efficient. There is usually minimal to no wait time for prescriptions that have been requested ahead of time, walk in requested prescriptions usually take about 30 mins to fill. There is plenty of seating in every area of the facility, and plenty of sercurity officers to make sure you have a safe and pleasant visit. This facility is wheelchair accessible, kid friendly, and always very clean. Oh also they offer free parking in the garage underneath the building.

I arrived at the Retreat at Sheppard Pratt suffering from severe obsessive-compulsive and body dysmorphic disorders. Jon Hershfield and the OCD team provided me with exceptionally skilled treatment so I could return home to a significantly higher-quality, more productive, and happier life. I worked specifically with Jon, Molly, and Rebecca (the entire team is fantastic), and they are without a doubt the most knowledgeable, compassionate, intentional, and collaborative clinicians with whom I have ever worked over the course of my 30+ year journey with OCD. They educated me on my conditions and empowered me to build the skills and tools necessary to live with and effectively manage these chronic illnesses. They worked closely with my psychiatrist and social worker on my care team at the Retreat to create a holistic approach to recovery. They also ensured that I was discharged with a comprehensive plan to execute with my psychologist at home. I highly recommend them and am eternally grateful for their life-changing care.

I went to The Retreat at Sheppard Pratt experiencing severe depression, anxiety and OCD. I'd been to other facilities and had to wait in line for up to an hour or more for meds that were dolled out without any consideration for the patient. I also had psychiatrist's who would schedule virtually once a week. This was NOT the case at The Retreat. The staff there were awesome! Absolutely ALL of the staff there, especially the doctors and nursing staff, were extremely attentive and knowledgeable. It HONESTLY felt like they cared. I literally cannot say enough great things about the OCD team, led by Jon Hershfield. They were tremendous! I met with Jon or one of his staff nearly every day I was there. Absolute pros! Thank you, guys! The Retreat is a clean, friendly, attentive and professional place to go if you are experiencing mental health problems. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

I give this place 5 stars no question. From the clean and neat facility to the compassionate and helpful staff there are simply no complaints. They have a really good system at TH where everyone works together no matter what their position is. From the counselors to the peers to the nurses, everyone is on the same page like a well oiled machine. This was imperative to me detoxing from alcohol where lack of clarity and lack of confusion could just simply make my experience harder. Lots of empowering groups were had where it forced you to really reflect on previous and future choices however the counselors arent pushy. If you truly want the help they are open and ready to give it to you. Some additional pluses are the kitchen staff, they make sure you’re well fed which is an important part of recovery. Shoutout to Brittany the peer there, she runs around that facility helping any and every woman she can. I found her to be very helpful to me. Overall, I had a great experience and feel ready to continue to attack this disease, day by day.

Go there to gather yourself and all you have to do is exist. They will literally help you figure out what type of treatment fits you best for when you leave their facility. It’s a very nice environment. You get a room with a roommate and a shower and bathroom. And they food you 3 full meals a day!! And I mean their meals are from a certified chef. Endless Coffee with each meal and a machine like McDonald’s with the fountain drinks but not soda. But strawberry lemonade, sweet tea, mango, orange juice and I think a few more. But I’m telling you it’s a 30 day max place but while your there like I said they will ensure your ready to go to your next recovery place and help you find it and coordinate with them and take you to a visit to see if the next place feels like a good fit. They have places that give u training for certain things, I forgot which ones they offer but trust me it’s an amazing place. Ohh I almost forgot they also offer detox off of benzos, opiates, and alcohol. They may offer more. Just call and speak with them and ask questions about their services. There’s a lady that speaks Spanish for people that need to go that can’t speak English but are still in need of help. No insurance required. Just the ability to want to become sober.

Tuerk house is a place where no matter the conditions (no insurance, no money, homelessness) come in and get what you need! If you are struggling with an addiction put the pride aside and walk into the open doors of recovery. This place has saved my life and my hopes are it will save your life if you accept the help. No program will ever be a 100% however if you gear your energy to focus on your recovery a 100% I can guarantee you that your disease will be arrested. Thanks to the Tuerk house staff you are greatly appreciated.
