I came here in 2018 when I was at rock bottom and finally ready for a change and today I can say that it was life changing for me. I've been clean ever since and have rebuilt a happy life down in Florida near the beach. I don't remember names but my counselor was amazing, and there was another really pretty lady in heels who was a Capricorn that was amazing as well. Anyways thank you guys for facilitating one of the most pivotal moments in my life. Will be forever grateful.

Walden has employees who are very dedicated & compassionate where adults in their care are concerned. Thru covid nightmares making a huge hindrance in allowing group meetings for some time, dedicated staff realized the importance of interaction with others who have walked the same nightmare. National shortage of trained help I am sure impacts their jobs, but I sincerely feel Walden's employees work there for the right reason..often saving a person's life. Their satisfaction at times when in the future seeing one of the 'flock' leading a normal, happy life when they run into them in public tells me they are there to make a viable difference. Thanks to all of Walden's angels in disguise for this!

Let's face it every program isn't gonna be 🌈 and ✨ we are there to get clean. Thts the primary purpose. So for me to complain about the food is ridiculous cuz I barely ate b4 I even went in there. And definitely disagree about them leaving u alone while you are in detox they do an assessment every 4 hrs. I couldn't get them to leave me alone all I wanted to do was sleep. But shout out to the nursing staff ⚕️ I loved all of you. My warmest hugs 🤗 to Kimmy Ms. Deb Jennifer Emma Ms. Lisa oh my my my I can't forget Toby and Kim y'all do a heck of a job cleaning us up. Renika do her thing with those dessert 🎂 and Ted those French toast, idk wht u do but keep on doing it and NeNe girl keep putting tht soul in it. Lol 🤣 I miss y'all already. In a nutshell the program gonna be what you put into it. You can have fun while getting clean or be miserable 😖 and still get clean. The choice is yours but it's not my place to blame it on a facility when I need to look at the behaviors I still carried with me. Thanks for having me. Ms. CeCe I'll be back for your I mean MY clothes 😂🥰 Oh yea by far my favorite counselor award goes to Nicole but Sheron u definitely pulled a lot out of me so u lost points for making me feel to much and crying lol. I could go on and on about things I didn't like but today it's about change and everything I didn't like was exactly what I needed to learn and grow in my recover. This place saved my life. Plain and simple. I just left in late October 2025.
And just like any AA / NA meeting, rehab requires action and work. RCA might not be a Malibu Passages (which rehab isn’t suppose to be some fantasy, sleep and get massages all day land) but they helped me crack the code in how not to give up, bc I wanted to and I was tired.
But the experience I had, leaning into it and embracing it? Yeah, I got so much from this place. Family. Friends. Knowing I’m not alone. It’s huge.
So thank you RCA.
And a massive shoutout to Pastor Ken. I could not have asked for a better therapist who just knew how to help me, I can’t explain it. Bridget, my Case Manager has a bigger heart than I thought was possible to have; Brittany, Marcus and Tammy (3 of the staff whom I was really counting on being there, and they were! I owe them so much)
And Ms. Sherry T….Ms. Sherry is a damn godsend to the patients. One of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met and will ever know. ❤️❤️
And Tai, (I think that’s how you spell her name) in the cafeteria. She defines what pure joy and just happiness is when you think it’s all but lost.

This hospital is very nice. I recoverd from my mental health problem. They wrote my mental health problem on my discharge paper. Then doctors are very nice. The caseworker is very nice. Everybody is good people because if the patients ruminating they hold by Patience. But I have a recommendation for them about visitors word that means they have to prepare translation Robot to listen visitors talking because some visitors talk to patient bad unnecessary word that is not good for patients. One day I was in the hospital at that place my Dad was visited me. When my dad visit me he talk some word that word causes anxiety upon me. I didn't want to talk to my doctor because I want to discharge from the hospital because all my friends discharge from the hospital so not to stay that hospital for more days. In general I advice for that hospital to prepare and put recorder that can speak the whole language in the world at visitors area. when visitors come in that area they have to turn on that recorder, so they can do their job easily. Not only for that mental hospital I advice the whole mental hospital in the USA and the whole mental health hospital in the world.

I’ve been to Mount Vernon Hospital this month three times due to my irresponsible neighbor not getting a rabies vaccine for there 120 lb Cane Corso, which means I have to go thru all the rabies shots required.
I was originally registered at check in by Monica, she was lovely and very kind, knowing I was extremely nervous she made me feel good .I then had my first interaction with RN Julie she admitted me , she was calm, caring and comforted me , and she was so thorough , sincere , and cared . After being admitted I was very fortunate Dr. Ladd was my Dr. wonderful bedside manners , gentle and caring and kind and could see and feel my anxiety. The nurse assisting her with my shot was Josh what a great nurse , he spoke with me with such caring ways I was scared , he was comforting , Dr. Ladd explained all about the first shot and it would hurt but her speaking with me assured me I was in great hands , she was very gentle .
My next visits I just had to check in and the nurses could administer the following shots . My second and third visit Dajavan registered me, wow Inova you are very lucky to have such a kind and caring gentleman registering one when checking in , his smile , caring ways makes one feel better , what was better yet he recognized me each and every visited and greeted me with his big smile , also always assuring I’ll be with you shortly , I watched him interact with others , what a nice young man , your very lucky in this day and age to have him, especially since he’s the first one You see coming in the door .
The nurses that gave me the next few shots and I still have one more to go was Veronica and Megan again so caring , gentle and comforting, and very concerned in what had happened to me, every nurse I came in contact was lovely , Megan especially recognized me and ordered the shot immediately, very proactive. I thanked each one of these folks when leaving the hospital but I’d like You to know what a great team of folks you have there, I was lucky to get them all , please again let them know they made a scary situation much easier .

Our daughter was in desperate need of help. Her ED had gotten into a dangerous zone. Out patient therapy was just not enough to bridge the gap for us. We began looking for facilities and this one was semi close. Leaving your child can be very difficult and reading reviews I felt somewhat comfortable with this place.
Ilida was really easy to work with. When we arrived, she went through all of the initial paperwork with us and made sure we understood everything before signing. While there our daughter was able to gain weight and understand her relationship with her body image and understand how her eating disorder affected that. The staff was great and quickly developed relationships that were therapeutic with my daughter- helping her use her DBT skills when she would get upset. As a mom, it does your heart good to know that when your child is upset, there is someone there to comfort them when you can’t. She went in having withdrawn into herself, no longer enjoying activities she had previously enjoyed, and as previously mentioned, very sick. She discharged a healthy, happy kiddo! Enjoying activities she hadn’t enjoyed in a long time!
The only negative comments I have is that the house was in somewhat of a transition of staff upon our arrival. Our daughter was assigned a virtual therapist & virtual dietician. While both of these individuals were great, we would have much preferred in person facilitation. There were some lapses of communication a few times, but again, staff was/is in transition. When it’s brought to their attention, they are quick to rectify this.
At the end of the day, the good definitely outweighs the “bad” and if I had to do it all over again, I would send her there without hesitation. Actually at discharge, our daughter was in tears because while she wanted to come home, she was going to miss several of the staff!

It's ALREADY spoken on BEFORE I speak with my physician?. I also feel like I was spoken on BEFORE I entered the room with my PHYSICIAN. I don't feel comfortable with that 💯, ESPECIALLY because it's ALLEGEDLY SUPPOSED to be CONFIDENTIAL. What happened to this??. My doctor was really ready to put me in a detox I didn't come for AND I don't give problem with anything I'm asking help with. I don't get it. I was cool about it and told HER not to worry. I have been going to Savida since 12/24 and it has been such a nice journey for my recovery. The office is always clean and stocked up with snacks. Donna-Fe is so sweet and very helpful. Appointments are always very well scheduled with little to no wait time to see the providers. Art is a great counselor. He listens so well to you, I wish the sessions were longer, that's how good of a counselor he is. Kyle Jones has been my Physician and he is very sweet, a good listener and always asks how one is doing besides just prescribing medications. I have also seen Stephanie Rutherford who has been injecting my Vivitrol shots. She is also very sweet and knows her stuff. I have come a long way with Savida and it has been such a great experience this time around in my recovery. This place definetly makes you feel welcomed and accepted.

This is a greatClinic. Very clean, neat and orderly. The staff is very hospitable and welcomes you with open arms. They’re easy to talk to and very friendly and make you feel like you’re talking to one of your closest friend(s) that you can share anything with. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that has Teenagers that’s going through any kind of mental issues and need someone to talk to. I have taken several program participants to various medical and mental health appointments over the years both in Virginia and in Maryland and was hands down super impressed with the staff at the CSB juvenile, adult, and emergency services. There was quite a wait for emergency services but each department communicated with each other and was so polite. Brian Stewart is one of the few names that we caught but he was phenomenal. The staff checked on us, fed us, and gave us blankets. We saw them touching base with some individuals who were clearly in crisis and they were just so patient and caring. Dr. Smith was our emergency services doc and I wish he could see people regularly because he was funny and he made my program participant feel heard. I have been with an individual to the primary care as well and enjoyed the collaboration with DO Pristell.

I have learned so much here than I have in any other treatment. CFD helped me fix my body image issues and helped my exercise addiction and I was able to find other activities to enjoy besides those. All the staff here are absolutely amazing and so kind. I love you Sebastian, Lydia, nurse ester, and Sarah. I had a therapist switch in the middle of treatment but my new therapist was still able to provide an amazing experience at CFD and helped me so much. CFD is great and the treatment is very personalized with your own personal meal plan and after a while you can prep your own meals and go on walks. My favorite thing was going out and going on exposures to help me. All my peers were amazing and always so helpful. The staff is so kind and respectful. You can also go on walks once you reach medical stability. Highly recommend CFD.

Center for discovery really saved my life! when I was admitted to cfd I was scared, but all the staff were so welcoming and very helpful with answering any questions I had. Most of the staff were extremely kind and so understanding. Nurse Esther was the best nurse ive ever had an all of my treatment. I was recommended this place by a close friend and I would highly recommend this place to any and everybody struggling with addiction! I spent most of my twenty's going to swanky upscale rehabs in South Florida and this place can compete with the best of them. The staff and counselors genuinely care about the patients and you will never be hungry, the food is great! If u guys want the help they will help you. But they are not going to chase after you to give you the help! You have to show that you’re willing to fix your addiction or you’re just basically using this place for housing. I been to this rehab twice and thank god I got the help I needed on my second trip. So stop giving this place a 1star review because your family member got kick out! Do you even understand how hard it is to get kick out of that place? People are rating this facility like they paid out of pocket. Stop disrespecting a good thing!

I went to MedStar Health Urgent Care not feeling my best—unsure if I had the flu, COVID, a cold, or something else—but from the moment I walked in, the service was excellent. The staff was professional, efficient, and welcoming. The PA who saw me was incredibly kind, patient, and empathetic—exactly what you need when you’re feeling awful and a bit anxious. She took the time to really listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure I understood my care plan.

Did have to wait about 1 hour from the time of my appointment to be seen, but it was a Sunday and I believe only 1 doctor was working. Everyone from the front desk to the person who took my vitals to the doctor I saw was VERY NICE. Dr. Cope even called me after I left to check up on me and make sure I had his number in case I have any ongoing trouble. Even with the wait, the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had.

I say this with no shame.I intentionally put my face on here,so that when my book is published,which already wrote with honest and trust about we all struggle ,rather in the church or not.This clinic has a lot of spiritual employees ,even my psychiatrist .I entered a mental health program QCI , I didn’t expect to feel more broken leaving it which was my taking responsibility of my part and that is expectations.. The company does care about mental wellness, but their focus needs to shift.having balance, seemed to be on diagnosis rather than understanding the human external issues and current expectations,behind why they need services. They based time on what was written on paper—labels like anxiety, mood disorder, depression which I have , gave me less time. in therapy—instead of what was actually going on in people’s lives at that very moment.They had no office space, only home visits.For someone like myself, I am a private person, that was uncomfortable. I didn’t want my neighbors in my business. I purposely avoided being home, for sessions because I needed a safe place to open up, not a drive by therapist . I just wanted a quiet room—a real office where healing felt private and safe.Over time, I I will admit Miss Tracy,but I did what no client should do and that grew close to my therapist because what they have made you fulfill.They are your theripist !!she is a really good therapist and it was like talking to homegirl She was the one who helped me keep it together and adjust coming back to the DMV ,when I got lonely ,I guess calling outside session ,so she dumped me 😂 😂 😂 . I guess after I said you remind me of my sister who has pushed me away ,but now getting close.Said she couldn't give me what I wanted whatever that means.Maybe her therapeutic approach is like talking to a friend/ Sister ,but I thought that was therapy about. If you want to get sober, then go here. It was free since I had Maryland insurance. They do not mess around. Mary was a huge support as a therapist.
When you're on your 4th week, knock on room 301 to arrange for your discharge plans. Otherwise, you may get an extension. Also, go to Frank if you have any issues. They'll help you out.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to take a moment to share just how amazing my experience was with the dental team at the PG County Health Department. Honestly, I went in with modest expectations, thinking I’d get the typical, quick check-up and be on my way. But from the moment I walked through the doors, I was completely blown away. My experience was far beyond what I ever imagined — it was warm, professional, thorough, and genuinely uplifting.
The front desk staff greeted me with such kindness and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. They were helpful, patient, and answered all of my questions without rushing me. It was clear they truly cared about each and every person walking through that door.
But what really stood out to me was the dental team — especially the doctors. The level of care, professionalism, and expertise they brought to the table was second to none. The dentist I saw took time to explain every step of the process to me, made sure I was comfortable, and answered every single one of my (many) questions with grace and patience. I never once felt rushed or like “just another patient.”
The assistants were equally phenomenal — gentle, attentive, and always checking in to make sure I was okay. The level of coordination among the team was impressive, and it made the whole process seamless from start to finish. It’s clear that they truly love what they do and care deeply about their patients’.
This team genuinely goes above and beyond. They didn’t just take care of my teeth — they made me feel respected, seen, and cared for as a whole person. That’s rare and incredibly appreciated.
To the doctors and staff at the PG County Health Department Dental Clinic: thank you for providing outstanding care and for treating me like family. You have truly set a new standard for what excellent dental service looks like, and I am so grateful for the experience.
