My husband (a veteran) went to the ER this morning. Come to find out, he has to get his gallbladder removed! When we got home he went straight to sleep and I went ahead and was trying to get everything set up for him (surgery, consult appointment, etc). I had so much trouble and unhelpful people on the phone through the general VA line. On a whim, I came into this clinic needing help on a situation regarding his surgery. I was met with a very, very nice lady named Miesha. She went above and beyond to help me. She gave me tips and advice on what to do next time this would happen (my husband hasn’t been to the ER under VA insurance until today). She went out of her way to show me things that she didn’t need to, and even provided me a Manila envelope and a binder clip for all my documents! From there, Kim (a nurse) took over and also went above and beyond to help me! I let her know how much pain my husband was in and got the head nurse to help! While waiting, she was so nice to converse with and I enjoyed getting to know her. Christine was amazing in ensuring we would get into a surgery consult ASAP. She’s very kind and straight to the point! She was very eager to help me. I am not a veteran myself, so the fact that I spent at least an hour there getting information from everyone and they didn’t make a DIME off of me is something that’s unheard of nowadays. Thank you Miesha, Kim, and Christine for helping me! I wish I could have you all as MY primary care. ( :
I have been going to Bridges for many years. They are caring, considerate. The people who work here really care and want to help. I never feel like just a number. If you want to look into therepy or just make positive life changes this is THE place to go. :)

If you want to get sober, then go here. It was free since I had Maryland insurance. They do not mess around. Mary was a huge support as a therapist.
When you're on your 4th week, knock on room 301 to arrange for your discharge plans. Otherwise, you may get an extension. Also, go to Frank if you have any issues. They'll help you out.
I like the staff they are so kind, and knowloedgeful about people mental health

For All Seasons has provided me and my family with excellent care over the years. The new office in Denton is so much larger and has a much friendlier space to accommodate the growing number of clients in Caroline County. Thanks for continuing to meet the needs of our communities.
Finding a mental health care facility is very daunting and I have been with Cassie for a long time and I just have to say she is incredible and works really well with me. A lot of really great options for remote therapy. I cannot say or stress enough how great it is to have found a great therapist.
I always receive friendly, professional, and fast help from CBH. From the front desk to the therapists, everyone here is very helpful and I could not recommend a better place to get Therapy. They can do your appointments in person or Via telehealth super convenient.

Very lovely experience. I went in here for an unrelated reason. But I had a very good time speaking with 2 of the nurses at the reception center. Those ladies gave me more information than the 5 Doctor's offices i had visited earlier today. I wish them well. And I definitely recommend you visit for whatever you might need.
I am very thrilled to begin my healing journey here, I am beyond thankful the kinda lady on the phone called me back this morning to get me started on getting set up for an intake, its a big blessing to me , and I am confident and excited as I know some people who've gone here and gotten some amazing help and care and are on better routes themselves in life. For recovery I could not expect any thing better. So many meetings a day. Most were very interesting

I stayed here for a month and it was a great experience. the staff was extremely helpful and caring. I never felt more tended to. The food was ok it was more the environment that helped relax me. They had the whole place being cleaned and it made me feel comfortable. The therapists were very encouraging and I feel like I couldn't have gotten to this place in my life without them. I appreciate everything that was done for me and how I was treated

It was an exceptional experience, as well as the staff, they were very welcoming and accommodating. My counselor and the Mediation activities were superb. The beds and the cleanlines were great.

This place saved my life. Plain and simple. I just left in late October 2025.
And just like any AA / NA meeting, rehab requires action and work. RCA might not be a Malibu Passages (which rehab isn’t suppose to be some fantasy, sleep and get massages all day land) but they helped me crack the code in how not to give up, bc I wanted to and I was tired.
But the experience I had, leaning into it and embracing it? Yeah, I got so much from this place. Family. Friends. Knowing I’m not alone. It’s huge.
So thank you RCA.
And a massive shoutout to Pastor Ken. I could not have asked for a better therapist who just knew how to help me, I can’t explain it. Bridget, my Case Manager has a bigger heart than I thought was possible to have; Brittany, Marcus and Tammy (3 of the staff whom I was really counting on being there, and they were! I owe them so much)
And Ms. Sherry T….Ms. Sherry is a damn godsend to the patients. One of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met and will ever know. ❤️❤️

My experience there was nothing short of life-changing. The staff and clinicians gave me the tools I needed to come back home and face my problems head-on. I learned how to communicate better in my relationships and handle challenges in a healthy way. The environment was supportive, understanding, and full of people who genuinely care about your well-being.
As a firefighter, it’s hard to ask for help — but coming to the Center of Excellence was the best decision I’ve ever made. I left with hope, strength, and a new perspective on life. I’ll always be grateful for the IAFF Center of Excellence and the impact it’s had on me and my family. -Fast Eddie
