I look forward to seeing Dr. Lafferman .The office is always neat and clean and welcoming. The staff there are friendly and helpful. They are ready and willing to help me if I have a problem. Dr. Lafferman is kind and understanding. He has been very helpful. Nancy Jean is great to talk to. She is always friendly and nice. She has a lot of good ideas on self help. Tranquility Woods is an exceptional rehab facility that truly cares about their clients and wants to see them succeed. The staff are very friendly and the facility is beautiful. I am not sure if I was just lucky but the group of people that were also clients at the time of my stay have become close friends of mine after treatment and many, including myself, have remained sober. I know that all the counselors were generally well liked by the clients and almost everyone says that theirs was the best. But I would have to say mine was the best (thank you, Luke). He helped open my eyes to AA and I am well on my way to 90+ meetings in 90 days and having a lot of fun doing it. That is hard to believe given that a month and a half ago I was completely against the idea of going to AA for various reasons. Those reasons have since been debunked.
I also want to add that the food is excellent. The chefs know their stuff and are happy to share their knowledge with you.

Program is better than what people tell you. You don’t realize how could you have it until you transfer to a different program. If you looking to get clean and get your life in order and become the best version of yourself. this is the place for you. Staff are down to earth and the counselors are very helpful and the program director is a reflection of the men in treatment. He been where we are at in life and fought like hell to become a better man. But don’t with him because he will call you on your shit. Only problem I have is the food. It’s not the greatest but it’s edible lol you’ll be fine

you have to to know what you’re getting into in order to get the most out of this program. It’s long, but I knew that going in and it was something I was personally ready for after years of struggling with addiction. Obviously it’s not going to be fun lol, but this program had a huge impact on my recovery and I will always be greatful. Also all the TAs rock!

Residence sucked and a lot of the rules and regulations were pretty stupid and petty. Group punishment was a big thing and that didn't really help simulate the "real world". But overall the experience even with the rules held me accountable and kept me sober long enough that I actually wanted to stay sober. Also the emphasis on growing a network really helped.

I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women
That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. Thank you to all the residential staff. The clinical team here is beyond amazing I am actually lost for words how much the team does. From the moment I got on the phone with them, I felt like someone actually heard me . They didn’t push me or judge me—just straight up helped me figure out what I needed. The place had a super chill energy, kind of like a breath of fresh air after all the chaos I’d been through .What hit different was the way they blended structure with real understanding. All the Staff are very positive, supporting and fight for you, when you might need a little more extra help, due to some mental issues or physical, or emotional. They are there for you 100% . I want to mention My Counselor, Ms. D. Herrera... She is the Best, Most, Supportive, Positive, Strong and Caring Counselor-(Drug).... I have ever had. Have had the pleasure of getting to work closely with the team at Crownsville over the last few months. The enhancements the current leadership team - Quinn, Amber, Ashley - have made to programming, facilities, client services, and most importantly the parent support model have been first class. The Sandstone team has done some great work in developing brand new recreational spaces (the Kickback house) and experiential opportunities to supplement what has always been great clinical delivery. The full team - led by Dr Yolanda Rogers and inclusive of the chefs and facilities maintenance team - are an all star care team. out of all the rehabs i been to this the only one that worked. i’m cali sober, meaning i still smoke and drink, but i don’t do anything else anymore. the only “negative” is that the food sucked but even then we were able to have our parents bring us food. not to add i went in 2023 so i am more than positive they upgraded. all of their staff genuinely care about the patients coming in and out. if you’re considering sending your child to this facility, this is their best option, coming from an individual who spent her life in and out of hospitals and residentials. this is the best place you will ever find.

Overall a worthwhile clinic for anyone living in the core of the city. The primary physicians are excellent; I've known four of them there. Staff is a mixed bag - one called me a "snitch" when I notified the desk that a patient was screaming at a physician. It's Baltimore, right? There are always two attentive security guards. The dental office and pharmacy are both good enough. The social workers make effort. I even tried the mental health floor, which did not help me much. Overall, I do recommend Chase Brexton at Charles & Chase streets.

Would HIGHLY recommend exploring treatment options with Kolmac if you’re ready to step into your recovery. ❤️🩹 I completed the 90(ish) day IOP program attending online group sessions three times a week for three hours in addition to individual medical appts/medication management and individual treatment plan planning. I had the incredible pleasure of working with Lisa S as my group counselor. She was professional, compassionate and understanding of the needs of her group members. She maintained a healthy and safe environment for us to all lean into the process at our own pace and found ways to relate to everyone regardless of situation. My medical/medication management was also all handled via telehealth. I felt heard when discussing my apprehension to some medications and was made to feel like the process to improve my health and the decisions being made around it were collaborative. Katelyn was my individual counselor and assisted me with developing my treatment plan. She is an absolute sweetheart and though early in her career was able to provide guidance and encouragement that felt beyond her years. I am actively transitioning to their continuing care program and look forward to seeing how far I can go with such a strong team behind me. 97 days!!!

The services for veterans are good for helping veterans get back their self worth back. They provide shelter and help with common needs for veterans. There are opportunities for veterans to get help for those dealing with addition. They also help veterans who are looking for shelter on a temporary basis.
