This is the best clinic I’ve ever used they posted they were gonna be closed for snow and I messaged there Facebook the that evening and they found away to open to take care of us that didn’t get our meds prior bc they understand the importance of there patients getting medicated also they are very fair with moving you up levels to receive take homes so you don’t have to go every day as long as you do what you have to do they make sure to take care of you!! I’ve moved three different times and have had quite a few clinic closer, but still take the ride out there Because I know no one else is gonna honor my hard work and give me to take homes I deserve Plus, I love the staff The receptionist, the counselors, the Director, the nurse, the doctors they’re all amazing!!!!

I love this program. I can’t walk right now so I can’t catch the bus to the program and twice the nurse bought my medication to my house. I had no way to get to the program. I’m very Thankful. This program will go over and beyond for you. So if you are looking for a program to join, you will not go wrong with this one.

I was on methadone for 11 yrs at Helping Hands. The staff was great there, had a wonderful counselor. I was detoxed in 2013,been of methadone every since. Thanks Helping Hands

I stayed here for a month and it was a great experience. the staff was extremely helpful and caring. I never felt more tended to. The food was ok it was more the environment that helped relax me. They had the whole place being cleaned and it made me feel comfortable. The therapists were very encouraging and I feel like I couldn't have gotten to this place in my life without them. I appreciate everything that was done for me and how I was treated

I came to maryland recovery after completing a stay at another rehab i was here back in 2022 during the time i was here my father was dieing of cancer and they allowed me to leave more then once to go see him in the hospital and then in hospice the director of the program chris and the clinical staff along with my counselor really showed empathy and support and was there for me during this difficult time in my life my father ended up passing away the day I left MRP ill have 3 years sobriety on October 27th Maryland recovery really built a strong foundation for me and early recovery i would highly recommend this program to all

I've been in 7 short n long term programs in Baltimore City with my wife Amanda. She passed away September 17th 2024 at 33yrs old. I was not just lost, broken hopeless n suicidal but much worse because the love of my life was gone forever. I thought I'd accepted it was the end for me n that there was no God. Being at my worst i found Amanda was still guiding me even when I didn't know it. Today I can say she helped me find MRP n put some of the best people in my life. I am so very grateful for Maryland recovery n the amazing clinical staff Alex,Kim,Doug, Brittany, Crystal, April,Laura, Carrie, Jessica and Stephanie. They not just did their jobs to the highest standard as well as showed me dignity and respect while doing it. They all gave me what I wanted n needed to want to live life again, setting me up for success, giving me a solid foundation like I never had before.
The PSA's Matt, Hayden ,Big Drew, Jeff,Paul, both Lisa's and Nikki literally made me feel like I was not just a person but part of a big "recovery"family that truly cared about me , my needs and wants. They all took the time to get to know me, guide me and shared very helpful personal stories about themselves or someone they knew that has or was going through something like i was. I didn't feel different or alone anymore but part of something bigger. I can honestly say i see things in all of them that id like to see in myself one day as i continue to grow and move forward in life. I see them all as my friends and leaders in recovery and life. Ive done more in the last 30days at MRP than ive done in the last 10 yrs of my life. THANK YOU for helping save my life. you have to to know what you’re getting into in order to get the most out of this program. It’s long, but I knew that going in and it was something I was personally ready for after years of struggling with addiction. Residence sucked and a lot of the rules and regulations were pretty stupid and petty. Group punishment was a big thing and that didn't really help simulate the "real world". But overall the experience even with the rules held me accountable and kept me sober long enough that I actually wanted to stay sober. Also the emphasis on growing a network really helped.

I washed upon the shore of Maryland Addiction Recovery Center with my life in utter shambles. Having gone to a dozen treatment centers in three years, hopeless and entirely broken would be a sufficient summary, but that would be an understatement. Addiction is not something I foresaw for my otherwise promising life on paper, but it reared its hideous head throughout my early 20s. The prospect of a career, college education, reunited family, sense of community, or merely happy and sober existence felt dead and gone.
As a last-ditch effort, my family and I decided a Long-Term Care facility might give me a shot at the life I always envisioned for myself. While I wasn't sold on the idea, I begrudgingly agreed to make the 250 mile drive to Maryland to embark on the unknown, terrified and uncertain. I remember thinking to myself: "If this doesn't work, I don't know what will".
Without delving into miles of details, this coming February I will celebrate 5 years sober, and I can confidently say that without the dedicated staff, patient-specific care, community-living arrangement, structured environment, vocational program, tough love, and rigorous personal accountability instilled at MARC, I do not know where I would be, or if I would be alive.
Program is better than what people tell you. You don’t realize how could you have it until you transfer to a different program. If you looking to get clean and get your life in order and become the best version of yourself. this is the place for you. Staff are down to earth and the counselors are very helpful and the program director is a reflection of the men in treatment. He been where we are at in life and fought like hell to become a better man. But don’t with him because he will call you on your shit. Only problem I have is the food. It’s not the greatest but it’s edible lol you’ll be fine

My name is Reginald Howard I have to say that Gaudenzia help save my life. Understand at the time I was admitted I wasn't in the best space when it came to mind set. I was newly released from jail and I knew in my mind that I had to do something different and I had been court ordered to at least attend a treatment facility. I called and was greeted by a lady that I like to refer as Miss Also Brooks she skillfully navigated me through the process of admission. Additionally I met the staff began the process and was able to work with them as they began supporting me through the recovery process. After observing them I realize that they were sincere about the recovery process and I began to draw from that experience all that I could so my life could be better. Additionally their zeal for life became contagious and my desire to help others was reawaken so I took some advice especially from my counselor who had recognize that I could assist others going through the same ordeal as I. After having a conversation with Mr Guy I was put on a path to further my education and began seeking opportunities in the field. I thank Gaudenzia for opening their doors and helping me help myself.
Angelina was AMAZING, she made the process smooth and effortless. The Senior Counselor, I believe her name is Betty, was just as amazing and both were very compassionate. I would 100% recommend Hope's Horizon if you or a loved one is need of help.

Addiction is an epidemic in this country and taking our loved ones daily. Myself losing 2 of my ex's to overdose. I personally have never used. I like their staff!! My experience with chase brexton was great! I was given a referral for my provider(my provider kept changing) and when their refer me to dr Riley. She was the best doctor and provider i have. And I've been going here for more than a year and also, the facility has multiple location so you can choose what's close to you.

My experience from day one, has been extremely positive. I have had support presently and in the past. All the Staff are very positive, supporting and fight for you, when you might need a little more extra help, due to some mental issues or physical, or emotional. They are there for you 100% . The cops and the local hospital are incompetent as well, and often are extremely unprofessional. A family member attended Sandstone for mental health and addiction treatment. After numerous attempts at other facilities, Sandstone was truly the catalyst for change. My family member is doing well and I'm deeply grateful that Sandstone was able to open their eyes in a way no other program was able to. Dana Rader was my provider when I visited Chase Brexton, Mt.Vernon Center. She was very keen to listen to me. She offered advice and made me feel like all my concerns were addressed during the visit. Services offered were just the way I expected and beyond. Would definitely recommend her.

CAM has by far been the best program I’ve been on. I was at another program (Cherryhill) for years & that place Hod change your whole energy. I would go in happy, come out in a horrible mood! There were a few good people there like Mrs. Hope & Nurse Michelle & a few good counselors, but at CAM, everyone has been amazing! From the beautiful woman at the front to the nurses & counselors, I am grateful for each one of them. I’ve been clean for 14 years & continue to be clean because of CAM.
As someone who goes to this place every week, I am happy to say that everyone that is in this organization is so kind and caring; they make me feel welcomed, and they do their best to help me if I am in need.

Would HIGHLY recommend exploring treatment options with Kolmac if you’re ready to step into your recovery. ❤️🩹 I completed the 90(ish) day IOP program attending online group sessions three times a week for three hours in addition to individual medical appts/medication management and individual treatment plan planning. I had the incredible pleasure of working with Lisa S as my group counselor. She was professional, compassionate and understanding of the needs of her group members. She maintained a healthy and safe environment for us to all lean into the process at our own pace and found ways to relate to everyone regardless of situation. My medical/medication management was also all handled via telehealth. I felt heard when discussing my apprehension to some medications and was made to feel like the process to improve my health and the decisions being made around it were collaborative. Katelyn was my individual counselor and assisted me with developing my treatment plan. She is an absolute sweetheart and though early in her career was able to provide guidance and encouragement that felt beyond her years. I am actively transitioning to their continuing care program and look forward to seeing how far I can go with such a strong team behind me. 97 days!!!

The services for veterans are good for helping veterans get back their self worth back. They provide shelter and help with common needs for veterans. There are opportunities for veterans to get help for those dealing with addition. They also help veterans who are looking for shelter on a temporary basis. I would recommend veterans who are facing a difficult time to give the Helping Up Mission a chance to help them reclaim their lives with dignity and respect. Mr. Rasheed Savage will get you the help that you need and he is very professional in his approach to helping people, especially veterans.
