I just want to share how grateful I am for my experience at Ryan Rehabilitation. Sebastian has been incredibly helpful from the very beginning — patient, supportive, and always willing to answer questions. The whole staff has been kind and understanding, and they’ve truly helped make this process so much less stressful. You can tell they genuinely care and understand that we’re already going through something difficult, and they never add to the pressure. Instead, they do everything they can to support us.
I also want to highlight Mr. Calvin. He is amazing — such a kind, patient man who creates a safe space for everyone while still encouraging us to grow, learn, and move forward. His guidance and compassion mean a lot during a challenging time.

It’s been great recovery wise but you have to remember that there are other addicts so there will be conflict especially if you’re residential. Overall a good experience and a great way to recover from substance abuse and mental health.

I drank everyday for 17 years following my return from service overseas. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to my needs as well as the others I met in residential treatment. They definitely were able to reach the root of my alcohol addiction and help put forth a plan for my continued success. I am almost 3 months sober and truly haven't felt better in my life. This is a greatClinic. Very clean, neat and orderly. The staff is very hospitable and welcomes you with open arms. They’re easy to talk to and very friendly and make you feel like you’re talking to one of your closest friend(s) that you can share anything with. Would HIGHLY recommend exploring treatment options with Kolmac if you’re ready to step into your recovery. ❤️🩹 I completed the 90(ish) day IOP program attending online group sessions three times a week for three hours in addition to individual medical appts/medication management and individual treatment plan planning. I had the incredible pleasure of working with Lisa S as my group counselor. She was professional, compassionate and understanding of the needs of her group members. She maintained a healthy and safe environment for us to all lean into the process at our own pace and found ways to relate to everyone regardless of situation. My medical/medication management was also all handled via telehealth. I felt heard when discussing my apprehension to some medications and was made to feel like the process to improve my health and the decisions being made around it were collaborative. Katelyn was my individual counselor and assisted me with developing my treatment plan. She is an absolute sweetheart and though early in her career was able to provide guidance and encouragement that felt beyond her years. I am actively transitioning to their continuing care program and look forward to seeing how far I can go with such a strong team behind me. 97 days!!!

I just started going here a couple months ago. Dr. Edmonds has been thorough and very helpful to me. Dr. Jordan was very helpful as well. The administrative staff, nurses, and techs have all been polite, professional and helpful. With phone calls, on site appointments, referrals, etc. I think these folks at the Southern PG county clinic are doing a great job helping veterans. Thanks everyone!

I have taken several program participants to various medical and mental health appointments over the years both in Virginia and in Maryland and was hands down super impressed with the staff at the CSB juvenile, adult, and emergency services. There was quite a wait for emergency services but each department communicated with each other and was so polite. Brian Stewart is one of the few names that we caught but he was phenomenal. The staff checked on us, fed us, and gave us blankets. We saw them touching base with some individuals who were clearly in crisis and they were just so patient and caring. Dr. Smith was our emergency services doc and I wish he could see people regularly because he was funny and he made my program participant feel heard. I have been with an individual to the primary care as well and enjoyed the collaboration with DO Pristell.

I’ve been at Insight for five years and have been able to grow professionally and as a clinician. I stay at Insight because I love it here. I have the freedom to set my own schedule and am encouraged to be as creative as possible. As therapists we’re often working with difficult situations. Even so, there is an atmosphere of joy and laughter in the office – one that our clients feel as well. When my close family members have asked me where they should go for therapy, I’ve referred them to Insight Into Action Therapy.

An excellent house to go if you're in need of mental health care. Unlike going to a hospital psyche ward, where the nurses are just waiting for their shift to end and the doctor talks to you quickly and writes some prescriptions and rushes you out to see the next patient, the entire staff focuses on you. From the doctor, to the counselors and even the cooking staff, they focus on every patient as an individual and get deeply involved in your case. A very warm, cozy, welcoming environment, nice rooms and bathrooms, and excellent food. It's like a second home you can collect yourself and gather your thoughts and prepare for the outside world again. I highly recommend.

A real life saver. I have PTSD, amongst other things, and the folks here helped me learn how to survive with it. One staff member helped me through one of the worst flashbacks I have ever suffered. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, there is no shame in letting someone save you.

The house that is associated with this property is a great place to go if you're in need of emergency mental health care and assistance from substance abuse. They do not offer detox specifically but if you're doing a detox, they are able to support with their varied staff of psychiatrists, PRN, nurses, and psychologists as well as peer support specialists. I wouldn't have made it to today as psychologically intact as I am without them! My issues were: they cannot always accommodate a vegetarian or vegan diet & the nightly bed checks require some disturbance if you're a light sleeper. They offer ear plugs but you may want to bring a sleep mask to get your best rest. They are genuinely caring people and I highly recommend!
