I just want to share how grateful I am for my experience at Ryan Rehabilitation. Sebastian has been incredibly helpful from the very beginning — patient, supportive, and always willing to answer questions. The whole staff has been kind and understanding, and they’ve truly helped make this process so much less stressful. You can tell they genuinely care and understand that we’re already going through something difficult, and they never add to the pressure. Instead, they do everything they can to support us.
I also want to highlight Mr. Calvin. He is amazing — such a kind, patient man who creates a safe space for everyone while still encouraging us to grow, learn, and move forward. His guidance and compassion mean a lot during a challenging time.

I had an LTHR surgery, so one wouldn’t describe being in the hospital as enjoyable, but everyone treated me wonderful. My nurses Tiffany, Justin and Whitney were attentive to me and they took the best care of me. They made my stay pleasant.

I made my appointment on Friday just to get there on Monday and somehow it was canceled. I DIDN'T CANCEL IT and therefore they couldn't see me. Instead they gave me an appointment for 3 weeks out. Finding somewhere else to be seen, as this is unacceptable. Turns out, when I made the appointment they never confirmed my number and whoever they sent the confirmation text to THEY canceled it so I was held accountable for the canceled appointment.

Would HIGHLY recommend exploring treatment options with Kolmac if you’re ready to step into your recovery. ❤️🩹 I completed the 90(ish) day IOP program attending online group sessions three times a week for three hours in addition to individual medical appts/medication management and individual treatment plan planning. I had the incredible pleasure of working with Lisa S as my group counselor. She was professional, compassionate and understanding of the needs of her group members. She maintained a healthy and safe environment for us to all lean into the process at our own pace and found ways to relate to everyone regardless of situation. My medical/medication management was also all handled via telehealth. I felt heard when discussing my apprehension to some medications and was made to feel like the process to improve my health and the decisions being made around it were collaborative. Katelyn was my individual counselor and assisted me with developing my treatment plan. She is an absolute sweetheart and though early in her career was able to provide guidance and encouragement that felt beyond her years. I am actively transitioning to their continuing care program and look forward to seeing how far I can go with such a strong team behind me. 97 days!!!

I just started going here a couple months ago. Dr. Edmonds has been thorough and very helpful to me. Dr. Jordan was very helpful as well. The administrative staff, nurses, and techs have all been polite, professional and helpful. With phone calls, on site appointments, referrals, etc. I think these folks at the Southern PG county clinic are doing a great job helping veterans. Thanks everyone!

They were very good. They helped me when I was at my lowest. They worked together to distract me. I awoled a lot, people probably say I was supposed to go there but I did. They truly helped me. The therapists are also really good, and well trained. I really can’t call out just one person, because they all came together to support me.

I cannot speak more highly of Newport. I read negative reviews when considering sending my 12 year old. I was terrified. No parent wants to do this, let alone drop their kid out of state. It was a horrible decision but we decided to take the leap for fear that her life may be over if we didn’t. (Or that she would never move past the pain she was in, at best…)
Our experience was wonderful. Newport treats the kids like they matter. The rooms are cozy and more home-like, which warmed my mama heart. This place is what I wish all crisis intervention places are like, but sadly are not. Children deserve better. Newport does it right.
My child is better off for having been through the program. She came back with tools and a better outlook. We then got her in a therapeutic school and I’m happy to say she’s thriving! I’ll never say it isn’t a journey. She still struggles here and there. But we are light years beyond what we hoped for back then and I attribute quite a bit to the care she got at Newport. She would agree and that says something …

This is the second time in just a few months I've been to this Labcorp location and I want to make clear what a great experience it was both times. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the wonderful staff member whose job description I don't know. I would very much like to call her out by name as she is a rare gem. She cares and it's authentic. My experience at this center has been incredibly positive. Lauren is one of the most professional, educated providers I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She has made my journey with pelvic floor physical therapy extremely comfortable, informative, and effective, and I would recommend her to anyone exploring this therapy. I had a great experience with Medstar PT at Ballston. I had some pain in my glutes so I was referred to have PT. I have heard good things about this practice so I wanted to try it out. Since I am a runner, I was assigned Melissa. Melissa did a great job at diagnosing the issue and coming up with a PT plan. She is very thorough and explains everything so you can easily perform the exercises. I would definitely recommend this practice and Melissa if one has PT needs.

Our conversation started with me finding out what Ayurvedic Health Therapy is. After seeing how committed Lise Stevens was to learning this practice and her desire to improve the health condition of not only herself but of friends and family I asked for an official consultation. As we talked about my eating, work and relaxing habits she began to recognize the pattern and recommended some small eating and relaxing changes I could make to improve my life and health. After consulting with her and following some of the recommended smaller things like cutting back sugary snacks drinking more water and walking as well as relaxing in a way to benefits my mind, body and spirit I began to feel better about my view on health. I've felt this helped my personal growth and focus to mover forward with a new house and new car, also giving me a clear mind to process and deal with the changes. The Palisades Men's House and all of its staff cared for a loved one during a difficult time. Christian, Anthony, Sam, and the staff at Verve Behavioral Health have played a large role in their healing process, and we are immensely thankful. There was always constant communication between the house managers and family, which was much appreciated and valued. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Palisades to anyone that's seeking an elevated level of support while in recovery.
