This place is amazing! They are respectful, polite, and go out of the way to help you. Clients I take care of in the community have nothing but great things to say ! Went to nauseous Due to taking my regular medication on an empty stomach today and gave me crackers, water, and went out of their way to handle insurance company! Huge shout out to the ladies at the front desk and what I assume is the MA Doing labs? She’s the one who went out of her way to make sure I was not nauseous today - very sweet people who care !

This clinic is NOT like the others. They are fast, friendly and more helpful and accommodating than other clinics. A few things could be tweaked a little bit, but most can be addressed with your counselor if needed. Office Staff, Security, and the Medical Staff are TOP NOTCH! At this clinic there is NO REASON NOT TO GET HELP!!

I've been to a few methadone clinics due to moving. And this one is by far the best one yet. They are fair and they are consistent. They don't let you get away with more or less than anyplace else, they are just easier to get take homes and to work with.

I miss HCRC Westfield and Liz!!! I don't know if she's still there but I'd love to say hi. Did the clinic move from the brick building on N Elm St? I ask only bc when I just Googled HCRC Westfield it was in a different location! Anyways, I am currently 3 years clean from illicit substances. HCRC is a lifesaver the whole entire staff is always so empathetic from the smiles you get from the front desk to the Nurses always asking how are you doing not to the mention the amazing medical staff who took me out of really bad situation because all they want to do is help. The Dr is so willing to hear you out and make things better on top of that Nick my counselor he's just amazing he pulls you out of your head and you don't even realize he did it's just a natural thing for him and one other person would be Kristen she runs that place so smoothly but with a heart that matches the smile she gives every single time when she asks if you're ok and that's why HCRC Westfield is the best!!! I’ve had a very positive experience with this clinic. From the beginning, the staff made me feel welcomed, respected, and supported in my recovery journey. The counselors are compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about your well-being. They take the time to listen and tailor the sessions to your needs rather than just following a script. The medication-assisted treatment has been life-changing for me. The medical staff is attentive and explains everything clearly, making sure I always felt informed and comfortable with my treatment plan. Appointments are well-organized, and I rarely had to wait long. Communication was smooth, and I always felt like I could ask questions or express concerns without judgment. Exceptional care from beginning to end. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Holyoke Medical Center. My son underwent a major orthopedic procedure, and from the moment we arrived, the entire staff treated us with professionalism, kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. Dr. Noah Epstein was exceptional. As a mother, handing your child over for surgery is never easy, regardless of how old they are. Dr. Epstein gave me confidence that my son was in capable hands. He took the time to communicate with us, and I especially appreciated him coming to speak with me personally after the surgery. That meant more than he probably realizes. The nurses, surgical team, recovery staff, and everyone we encountered were attentive and caring. We never felt like just another patient or family coming through the hospital. They made a stressful and emotional day feel manageable because we knew my son was being well cared for. I left Holyoke Medical Center incredibly grateful. Five stars are not enough for Dr. Epstein and this wonderful team. Thank you for taking such excellent care of my son and for taking care of this worried mom, too. I've got to say I'm a driver that takes people to healthcare centers and resource centers the one in Chicopee is the most words I've ever seen they lock the doors before 5:00 not to mention sometimes I have people that have canes and walkers they'd be going up the ramp and he still has the audacity to lock the door in front of their face with a smile after this comment here I will be calling the administration because something needs to be done.

Carlson was the right place at the right time for me to bring a friend of mine who had finally decided to detox and go into an aftercare program, from addiction. The place was well organized, seemed to be run well and plenty of patient supervision, from the point that my friend made it through the complete admission process, she was able to reach out to myself and her sister, and her mother, and then transition to the Hope house in Springfield. I strongly encourage anyone battling with addiction and / or dual diagnosis as well, to call Carlson for bed availability and go through the program. A lot has changed in this field over the past five years, but most notably over the past two years, and there is help and there is hope, if you know somebody who’s struggling out there, they are somebody’s daughter they are somebody’s son. They could also be somebody’s spouse and they could also be somebody’s parent as well, try to do what you can to help them as long as it’s within your cable tow. God bless.

I think the Carlson center was awesome. They medicate you so you are really comfortable. Their food is incredible and you can get seconds too which is helpful when you are starving and coming off alcohol. Every time I relapsed I went there because I knew they would give me another chance. You should go to groups but yes you can sleep if you’re tired. I remember the first time I went there. I was in serious alcohol withdrawal. I had the best sleep after being medicated. Their staff is great too. They saved my life. They wake you up for vitals early but you may need medication. They have punch in the tv room which I drank like no tomorrow. Snacks too. I’ve been there like 7 times and they always treat me great. I wish I could say my name but can’t. You will always get a second chance there

The IOP was very helpful for me. A majority of the staff were very supportive and helpful. There is one woman there “beau” I think is how you spell her name. Always giving me dirty looks, I would wave at her and no response. It made me very uncomfortable in a therapeutic setting.

IOL has been there for me when I was at rock bottom. My first time there in December 2023 was ok, the staff was kind except for one tech from the adult unit... When I went back last December, I ended up staying for Christmas, and the staff did their best to make us happy with gifts, games, etc. I stayed for almost a month and started becoming myself again with help from my favourite tech and my favorite nurses. This was the first place that actually treated me like a human being while being in a psych facility. Most of the staff were still there from the first time and they had a better understanding with what was going on. I was so happy they remembered what had helped me last time.

I was very happy to have learned of this establishment. Many insurances are accepted like Medicaid and Medicare, although certain counselors accept certain insurances. The scheduling coordinators are very friendly and work with you to receive the help you need. It is also worth noting that services are offered for kids and even toddlers, with referalls offered as well.
