I wouldn't recommend until Lisa is removed as the person in charge she has no heart and doesn't really understand how it feels to lose everything she rushes people out without taking into consideration of the things they are working on and keep those who sit around all day doing nothing I'm pretty sure she's the reason this beauitful place is losing funding ..

I called seeking for help for my son. I spoke to ron and I was treated terrible. I'm a career woman and he just point blank said he didn't have time for me.... I will never donate again because of his attitude and he didn't care what my son is going through. Calhoun county is terrible as I pay 3000.00 dollars a year in property taxes....thanks for throwing us parents away that care...and as for ron and your attitude you should be fired....why the heck is there a haven when people like you operate it

My 13 year old really enjoys seeing her. She doesn't like having to wake up early for things when school isn't in session. But you won't hear a complaint if she's rising early for an appt. to see Hilary. Thank you ALL for everything you do, Daily, for every person who walks through them doors.

I've enjoyed my counciling here very professional staff. Girls up front are very nice. I like how quickly they get to me on the phone. That can agitate people. Justin Hutchenson has helped me decompress alot of stress in my life dealing with multiple deaths in my family and my own health tragedy. May God richly bless him for that and all your staff as we continue on this journey together.

The therapist my daughter saw at the Portage location was wonderful. Billing was always an issue - they would say we owed money, so we would pay it, then they could contact us and process a refund because we "overpaid". Otherwise, we were very pleased. However I have been trying to reach them for a week now. Website says they are available 24/7 - however I have called EVERY number on their website repeatedly, as well as the number the "owner" provided in these comments, and there is never an answer or option to leave a message. I also submitted an appointment request form through their website and have not received a response. Not sure what is going on here. UPDATE: apparently this is a cell phone issue - NOT pine rest. Despite using my phone daily and having no issues making calls, for whatever reason, I had to put my cell phone on then off airplane mode and suddenly I was able to make calls to them. Updated my review to correct for this.

I started having sessions here earlier this year. Even though I no longer attend as I am seeking something a little closer to home. The staff and therapists are all wonderful. I was treated with respect and dignity. They also made me feel extremely at ease with any interaction. Highly recomended

I used to be an inpatient at Borgess 1 North, and the unit was alright. If you complied with medications, group, and individual therapy, things did seem to get a lot easier. In order for inpatient care to really make a strong impact, I feel like the person being treated needs to want to better themselves. Other than that, the adolescent unit really made a positive change in my life.

The VA has come a long way since 2005 when I got enrolled. This facility is superb. The services offering is top notch. So nice not having to drive to Battle Creek/Ann Arbor/Detroit.

Tried to get help for a family member who just got out of rehab and the intake specialist told us they could come in then I get a call from the manager saying no, be up front or don’t get peoples hopes up. Overall the workers there don’t seem to show any compassion for those trying to face their addictions and get help.

If youre really looking for help this place is not for you. You cannot be honest about how you feel, they will kick you out of their Cult. They have life coaches that have barely been sober 6 months in charge of the place. I hope you never have to go through the judgement I felt while I was there

I've been under psychiatric care for many years, and Dr. Schiller is by far the best I've ever had! She helped me taper off a med that I was on for years, and switched me to something else that is working much better. I feel better than I have in years. She is kind, compassionate, and guides me to what she thinks is best, but always lets me make my own decisions about my care. I'm so happy to have her as my doctor!!

I have been seeing Dr Lisa Hanna going on 6 years now. She helped me get off of some medications that were doing harm to me. She always took things slow, and tapered me off. She always explained why. I used to drive out here from Fruitport until Covid happened. From there on I have been seeing her via webcam/phone. She always tried to do me good. She got me into therapy services, but I did have to go somewhere else closer to home. My preferences for face to face therapy outweighed the cons of webcam/phone therapy. Every single time I have had an episode she was always there to help. She never had any anger towards me. She listens to me when I talk about side effects of medications. She has never forced me to take a specific medication, nor has she ever said "just deal with it." I seen some reviewers here saying the billing is shaky, and that the therapists are not up to par. Literally all the therapists they have are licensed. I never had any issues, and they even let you set up a payment plan. Pine Rest has changed my life significantly. Everyone there is nice, and courteous. I feel alot of empathy here. They really do enjoy doing what they do. Mental Health is tricky. You have to come in with an open mind. You have to be willing to put in the work. Everything that they ask you to do is only because they want you to get better. I have never been asked to do anything that made me worse, and when I did get put on a medication that didn't work out. They were always there to listen and adjust accordingly. When I tell them that something works they stick with it. I have been able to excel in most aspects of life that I used to struggle with since coming here. I definitely feel more connected with my colleagues, and family members. Thank You Pine Rest!

My counselor is Paul Hillebrand and he's an excellent counselor. He helps me with my anxiety, worry, stress, autism spectrum, etc. So back in March 2024, which is this year, I met him in person for the first time and that was awesome. The whole Office looks really nice, well taken care of, especially Paul's little Office. Also it's a nice drive out there from where I live, which is Wyoming, and it's my Uncle David's hometown 🏡🏡🪵🌈🌞🌝🌤🏩🏩🏩🧭🧭🧭🧭🧭
