This program has done so many good things for our family and my son who attended this year. Our son had been struggling for almost a year after a very bad car accident and he unfortunately began to abuse his pain pills. They really strive on the fact that you go at your own pace through the program to ensure that you are getting the most out of it. They do not want you to move alongside others their just because they may be going at a different pace than you. There are many different groups to choose to partake in and you get to customize things in terms of what is of interest to you. It is a very beautiful and tranquil center to receive treatment at. He was able to focus on himself in all areas, body, mind and spirit. The staff ensures a clean and inviting center to be at, they all work together to make sure that you are well taken care of and they offer great meals by an amazing cook as well. We are thoroughly grateful.

I'm very happy with the results I got from going through the program at BRS. I was prescribed pain medication by my doctor after I'd gotten in an accident and I was having trouble getting off them. My husband found BRS for me and it was a really good place for me to go. They put an emphasis on their client's comfort there, which was something I needed. I'd never needed help like this before and it was weird for me at first to be in treatment for a drug addiction. The staff there were wonderful with me and they handled all my tantrums while I was going through detox very well. There were a lot of tantrums too. Every day I wanted to leave and every day they convinced me to stick it out. Which I'm very grateful for. After detox, I was surprised by how much I liked being there. The facility itself is really nice and I was comfortable there. I'm so glad my husband chose BRS as the rehab I'd go to because I don't think anyone else would have handled me and all my dramas nearly as well.

My brother went to BRS last year and I'm amazed at the results. My brother spent 10 years addicted to crack cocaine and truthfully, I never thought he'd get sober. He went to a lot of treatment centers before BRS and none of them helped him. There are some major differences between those other centers and BRS though. They don't take a one size fits all approach to treatment there. They have multiple programs and my brother was able to do a treatment program that he hadn't done before. One that actually worked for him. He was also there for 4 months. He's always been to 28 or 30 day programs and it was never enough time for him. Plus, the BRS center is great. It's a beautiful place and they have a bunch of amenities that helped my brother feel comfortable there throughout his whole program. Lastly, the staff were wonderful with him. They made sure that my brother did his program and did it right. Going to BRS worked for my brother. He's sober now.

We had our first session with Robin about an hour ago. I am very pleased with how things went. She didn't coddle us but she wasnt harsh either. She got straight to the point when she had something to say and let us tell our story when it was our time to talk. She also hit on points that we didn't see ourselves and it made us think. In time, I think we will be seeing clearly where the problems are and a solid plan on how to deal with them will be in place. I am very pleased with my first impression of her. Thank you, Robin. Absolutely amazing staff! Love Heather and Maurice. They have a great residential program for substance abuse. They offer group therapy and one on one counseling sessions. Jeffrey that works in administration is also very caring and helpful in many ways. Anyone I know struggling with substance abuse I refer to DOT Caring Center. A family member was treated here. I went and visited during visitation hours. The staff I met were very kind. He had said the same. He got help not only with present recovery but tools to help him stay sober. They also helped him with his next steps like getting into a sober living. They inspired him to one day become a sponsor himself. He enjoys most of the company he had there. I enjoyed that Monday through Friday he would get his own personal phone for twenty minutes to make calls and texts from. It allowed me to send him photos to keep him involved. When I couldn't make a visitation they tried their best to accommodate and do a brief video visit instead. All around they greatly cared for him presently and his future. They even helped with transportation to the sober living. The only negatives were that sometimes you don't always get a very good roommate and theft happens. Plus the food wasn't always great he said, but you can't please everyone all the time with every meal when you get that many people together. I would suggest having more options during meal times though, possibly a microwave and some ramen or something for those who don't like whatever is served. Overall this place really helped him grow. I can't wait to see what the rest of his future brings for him and our family.

Our husband, father grandfather was admitted to the ICU on June 10th and sadly passed away on the 28th of June. We had a mostly great experience. The doctors, pulmonary and PA'S were very efficient and willing to talk to us and explain things to each of us. There were three very special nurses whom were more Angels than medical professionals. I dare say they will go far in their chosen professions. The nurses are: Bailey H. R.N., Bridgit R.N. and Anna R.N. They were very professional and at the same time compassionate and caring. They always called my husband by his preferred name: "Lyman" and whenever they came in the room always talked to him and explained what they were doing. Of course there's always an exception and I wasn't going to call them out, but I was told that the hospital wanted to know where improvements are need. So, that being said, Molly, R.N. wasn't as open to questions as others were and she never spoke to Lyman when she came in the room. I don't know if she was just learning or shy, but she really needs to speak to the patients even if they are comatose. Also, Phyllis called Lyman --Frank. I asked her if she'd just called my husband Frank and she said,."yes, I'm sorry.". Apology accepted until it kept happening every time she came in to check on him. Maybe she thought it was funny and she was trying to be humorous, but none of us were impressed. We stopped correcting her. Other than that we had a very positive experience. The office was very nice. I was well received by the receptionist who carried on a conversation with me. Then after only a couple minutes was called back by the RN who was also friendly. I’ve had amazing care here- I wouldn’t be alive without the treatment I got from here. Update: I will specify there are some great therapists here. The DBT program especially saved my butt. However, I’d never recommend the psychologists here.

Only did the crime victim panel. It honestly wasn't that bad but both presenters were making fun or teasing me, and i was one of the few that participated in questions and answers more than once. Im a grown adult so its whatever, little unprofessional and goes against their purpose as educators. Other than that, cant complain.
