My mother won't go anywhere else and after today, I see why. All around a good experience, but I wanted to give a shout out to the dental assistant, Cameron. She sat with my mom and let her tell story after story while waiting on the medicine to kick in. Cameron was on point during the procedure, but her genuine smile and authentic care came out when she pulled up a chair next to my mom. Well done!!

I feel we, as a family, were blessed by God the day my son began his journey here. He has been helped far beyond our wildest dreams. Diagnosed Schziophrenic and other problems and past addictions. He is still in treatment but to talk to him now compared to when first admitted is night and day. I'm so thankful to staff and Doctors. This placed saved my sons life! The staff is incredible, professional, caring and loving. They’re also tough and demanding. The schedule each day is rigorous and restrictive. My son went in a full blown addict and came out two months later as the normal kid he used to be. I credit the staff 100%. If your child needs help, and wants help, these folks can help. If your child refuses help then there’s little that can be done. That may explain the poor ratings left by others. You have to put in the work to get the results you want. Convince your kid that they need the help. Then take them in. Best of luck!

Can’t say enough good things about Compass in general, but what made me write this review specifically is one of your psychologists, Cody Bond. As someone who’s seen multiple therapists and psychologists over the course of the last 10 years, Cody is the most notable one I’ve ever had and I’m so thankful for him and everything he’s done for me. Cody’s not just a great psychologist, but a great person in general and he’s never once made me feel dismissed or unheard. I’ve never cried like I lost a family member over losing my psychologist/therapist like I have today. I’m so happy for Cody and his future endeavors but I’m so sad that I’m losing him. Compass has a good one in Cody Bond and I’m so happy to see Compass recognizing him for what he does. He definitely deserves this. Cody, if you see this, thank you so much and have a wonderful life!!! 🤗

I went to Heartland due to suicidal thoughts. I was in a very bad place and I needed help and Heartland gave me that help. The staff was very nice and I had no problems with them. I especially liked Dave as he kept us entertained throughout the day with different activities when we had time between the scheduled things. He also helped me become much more comfortable there as I had never been to a mental health facility before. Overall I would say Heartland is a place I would prefer to go back to if I need help again.

My child went here and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end. It was a lengthy stay and everyone here was wonderful. As a parent it’s so hard to look at the negative reviews on all these facilities and not know what to believe. This place was recommended to me by a sheriff whose foster child stayed here. He said it was life changing for her in a positive way and I’m so glad we listened to him. We’ve had our child at different facilities and they were not good experiences.

Dr. Patterson is an amazing provider and a truly caring person who goes above and beyond for every patient he sees. He made sure my potassium was monitored closely even when I didn't. He has gone out of his way to make sure I was safe and even took care of my son when he had a rash that wouldn't go away on it's own. He is a kind, caring and wonderful doctor! I came all the way to Synergy from Los Angeles, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I can honestly say that I left a different person than the one who arrived. The program helped me understand myself on a much deeper level, recognize the patterns that had been keeping me stuck, and develop tools that I know I will continue using long after treatment. I left feeling more grounded, hopeful, and connected to who I truly am. The counselors and RAs are all incredible. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in every woman who comes through the program. I always felt supported and cared for, without ever feeling judged. The program itself is truly amazing and creates space for real healing. Not only from addiction, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as well. The setting is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and extremely comfortable. It feels warm and home-like, which made such a difference during such a vulnerable time. The food is also delicious, and you can tell how much care goes into it. Synergy gave me so much more than I expected. I learned an incredible amount about myself, built meaningful relationships, and began creating a life that I genuinely want to protect. I will always be grateful to the entire Synergy team for the role they played in changing my life and I would recommend this program to anyone who is struggling. <3

I am writing to share my experience at Synergy, which has far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped onto the property, it felt like home. The staff is nurturing, loving, and supportive, offering a holistic approach to recovery that equips clients with unique skills and tools. The opportunity to experience new things in a safe, well-balanced environment helps the brain establish new pathways, supporting the skills taught during the stay. Furthermore, the clients you go through recovery with become your biggest fans and closest friends. Synergy also provides informative resources to continue introspection, healing, and growth after departure. My stay focused on Complex PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression. Although I was initially nervous about taking this step for myself in an environment with mixed treatment needs, I quickly realized I made the right decision. I cannot recommend Synergy enough. The skills I learned and the self-love I gained will journey forward with me for a lifetime.

Having been to and having worked at multiple treatment centers, I have to say that Sana Lake is the best one I have been to. The staff cares and work their butts off. They were short-staffed when I came, but they were still able to pull it off and gave me a great experience. Great food, too! The owner even comes in multiple times a week and runs a group on Thursdays. He shares his personal life story. You do not get that very often. The nursing staff is very caring as well. I could not sleep for several nights, so the nurse practitioner tweaked my medication several times until we found the right combination. If you’re contemplating going or returning to treatment, you are going to find a better place, in my opinion. I feel that I am ready and finally capable of staying sober long term. Thank you to ALL the staff at Sana Lake.
