My therapist that works at this location is awesome. Her name starts with an A. She truly seems to care. I feel compassion and humbleness through her assignment to work with myself. It's very well noticed and appreciated. Thanks again.

I have been going to Comtrea for years And they are amazing. Always extremely helpful kind courteous and caring. They have helped me in so many different ways I can't even explain how thankful that I am for them. Without Comtrea I'm not sure how my life would be today thank you very much for all of your help everybody the staff and doctors are all wonderful. The support I am receiving and have received is amazing and has helped me out a lot.. Way to go Comtrea Staff!

Melissa was the BEST! This was my first visit and she listened to what I had to say. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with our televisit. I normally don t like televisits because they seem so impersonal. However, I didn t feel this at all with Melissa. I took too long to see a doctor and I m glad I did.

They provided great group counseling, exceptional one on one counseling, and easy access from the comfort of your home via Zoom. They were great to work with and handled every question I had with ease and kindness. Thank you all so much for your professionalism and care!I will celebrate three years of continuous sobriety on July 26, 2025. You all helped keep me on track and striving towards my goals. Very affective and helpful in all aspects of your life

Queen of Peace gave me the tools to save myself from alcohol addiction. Overall, I found the staff to be dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate.It s scary admitting you need help with an addiction, especially when you realize you need inpatient treatment. I had a tough time adjusting at first (ended up with 8! roommates in 2 months) but the counselors, peer support staff, and BHTs were always understanding, and supportive. Having access to the beautiful chapel was a blessing as well.The outpatient program is just as helpful as inpatient. It s the perfect way to transition back to your new normal life.Regina Pacis, Ora Pro Nobis!

Just had an annual visit. Melissa (with the boots) was awesome. Friendly, attentive, and professional. My tech was also great! Upbeat and professional and his blood draw was perfect. Everyone there was good to deal with. Thank you!!

Wait time is average, better than civilian clinics, and get to your cure within short time. I just moved from Florida and the difference is night and day. I recently finished treatment at the Aviary. It changed my life. All of the counselars truly care about every single clients and are awesome helping you in anyway they can. The nurses are super awesome and friendly. The coaches care and run their butts off helping all the clients. The admin office will work their butts off helping in anyway they can(especially hounding your hr department at work to get your insurance info when they drag their feet getting the info sent off). The kitchen staff are awesome, they work so hard fixing good food and they deliver. Love ya Miss Debbie!!!! Nothing bad to say about the Aviary. Thank you so much for helping me. As a former client I have to say Aviary was a life changing experience. The staff really cared for us and was always willing to help. I learned so much from them. Addiction is a killer. I m so happy and grateful for my experience there. I m still sober and living my best life in recovery. I would recommend the Aviary to anyone.

I absolutely love the staff here. This place truly saved my life. After going through the inpatient (Eolia), I came here. The therapist Kristina is by far one my favorite therapist in the world. These people truly care, not to mention they have been there and are in recovery too!!!

I am updating my review because it is no longer relevant. I am very sad to hear that the director John is retiring; he is a wonderful, caring person.Some tips: they only check bills with a marker that only detects the presence of starch. This only works to ID fake bills that have been printed off of somebody's HP or Lexmark onto cheap printer paper. even accidentally washing your pants with a 20 in the pocket will be enough to "set off" their pens. Bills made priot to 1973 also automatically fail. Because counterfeiters often use bleached, real $1 bills, not only are they vulnerable to larceny, but false positives left me and others feeling judged and unable to dose. I acquired easy to read posters and literature from the St Louis Department of Revenue for local businesses to detect counterfeit currency and distributed them to every window. They did not use them or even try the many ways the US Treasury advises to detect fake currency (microprinting, watermark, texture of raised ink, security thread, color-shifting print, etc.) Implying I have a 65 ton printing press in my basement but used a $1.99 ream from Kinko's.Speaking of money, they do not take change (coins)and nor do neighboring businesses. They also may not reinmburse you if you don't have the correct bills for exact change.Counselors are a hit and miss. I have encountered 12 steppers who are proud to treat a disease the same exact way for a near century and are quick to blame you if AA doesn't help, never the program. Even if you have been repeatedly victimized by 13th steppers. Imagine if an antibiotic failed to cure your infection. Would your doctor say you have moral failings and give you more of the same antibiotic? No. Some counselors here do know about smart recovery and other, actually helpful, programs. Do not be afraid to find someone who works.

I have been going to this place for 6 months now it's been a BIG help I feel like all the staff cares for you from the case workers to the ladies at the medication window I recommend anyone who needs help with substance abuse to give them a try .......it's been great for me 7months clean WITH GOD HELP!!!!

Just wanted to come on here and leave an update since my last review. I only have one thing to say BRING BACK Becky!!!The only reason I m giving this place a five star rating is because of Nancy, Becky! These nurses are amazing and go above and beyond. They are so overworked and at times very unappreciated by some of the clients. High five to Mark and Jeff as well these two councilors are handling very heavy caseloads but still manage to show that they love their job and want what s best for their clients. They also know how to handle the hot headed ones the reasons I could have given it a one star:Their drug lab sucks!! 50 percent of the time their results are wrong. You could be 100 percent clean and the test could come back positive. They know the lab sucks but says there is nothing they can do about it when they send it back to be retested then most of the time the true results will come back. But now they have this new rule where you have to pay 35 dollars for your test to be retested!! It s a money making scam!! They tell you the lab sucks and most of the time will get your results wrong but now wanna charge you 35 to have it sent back!??!? They know they ll make hella money! What pisses me off is for the one such as myself who are on probation, this could potentially get me in huge trouble! Thank god I get hair follicles from the state! For the love of God New Seasons GET A NEW LAB!!

Like many of us , I have been through treatment after treatment... Inpatient and outpatient... Jail, prison, and yes, institutions... Then I found this place and thank God because there are so many things about this place to love. From the counselors to the medical team and those absolutely wonderful nurses who put up with a lot of unnecessary B. S. from some of the ppl that haven't "gotten it" just yet and hopefully eventually will. Honestly, I am going to miss seeing them, Jeff, Mark, Becky and Nancy are so easy to talk to ... DON'TLIE TO THESE FOLKS, let them help you, besides they're going to know anyway...

This place was all about helping others get to the starting point in your life to see there is life out there without drugs if you want it that bad you can have it . Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn't ready then . Now I'm thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that's why I'm writing this review 4 years later after I left. Some of the staffs inspiring stories and words is what got me to where I am today and I'm very thankful for that. Recovery will only work if u let it and it's hard work but yout have to put in the work to get in life you want to go . Don't give up . I would be lieing if I said recovery is easy but one day u will wake up and realize it gets easier u just got to.want it and put 100% in to get it

I used to be depressed and suicidal, but now I'm only a little depressed and not suicidal at all. Tysm ilysm. And I hope you still have that picture of you. I'm crying rn if you actually respond. I really want to go back even though I'm all better. If you have any suicidal thoughts go see a counselor, or go to mercy/ hospital but only if you don't feel safe at home. Don't make suicide into a joke. It's a serious thing. Bye I love you all

Dr. Shiue is an amazing physician, she was my son's pedestrian, I remember him getting sick and i would call and she would always see him I know she worked through lunch and stayed late as well. He was 21 and no longer technically her patient but had not seen an adult Phyician and was going to be over a week to get in, I called the office with my concerns, they spoke with her and she saw him through her lunch break, Dr. Shiue also called the adult Doctor and got him in the next day, turned out he had a really bad case of pneumonia. Dr. Shiue also gave me her private cell number to call her if I needed anything. She is totally an amazing person as well as a physician, she really cares about her patients and the parents as well, she has called me after hours to follow up on my son. It was very hard to move on to an adult physician. I can not say enough about the staff and her. My son is now grown and is expecting a little one of his own and of course Dr. Shiue will be her Doctor. I trusted her with my son and now my Granddaughter 100 %. Dr. Shiue is one in a million and can't say how happy I am she will be seeing my Granddaughter

Staff is always so friendly and helpful!

They got my granddaughter in very quick. They accessed her bug bite, and it's nothing to worry about. While checking her out, the doctor noticed her throat looked like possible step throat, but luckily, it wasn't. The patient and her sister got Popsicles, which they loved, and a sticker on the way out.
