I went into Parkwood with the hopes that I'd get better and I absolutely did. The staff was amazing, very caring people. Empathetic to your struggles, kind to those like myself who were struggling. I loved the groups, the activities, and the schedule we had set for us. I was originally in the East wing, but was transferred to Ivy Trails. I'd like to name staff members Natalie, Marquita, and Rachel by name; some of the sweetest women you could ever meet. I'm so grateful to God for Parkwood, but especially Ivy Trails. If you’re scrolling and feeling stuck, just like I was, take a breath and keep reading.I found RecoveryPath Helpline when everything felt like it was crashing. I didn’t know what I needed — I just knew I couldn’t keep doing what I was doing. I called them thinking I’d get some automated voice or someone cold on the other end. But instead… I got a real person. Calm. Kind. They actually listened. They didn’t throw a bunch of medical terms at me or make me feel small. They asked me simple stuff like, “How are you feeling right now?” and “What do you need today?” No pressure, no judgment. Just support. They stayed on the line while I cried. Helped me find a detox center nearby. Even followed up later to see how I was holding up. That meant something. This helpline isn’t just a number. It’s a lifeline. If you’re scared to reach out, I get it. But trust me — they’ll meet you where you are. No shame. Just help. Call ‘em. Don’t wait till it gets worse. You’re not alone, even if it feels like it. RecoveryPath helped me believe that again. Maybe it can do the same for you. 💙

RecoveryPath Helpline came through when I was at rock bottom and had no clue what to do next. I called in the middle of the night thinking I’d get voicemail or some automated stuff — but a real person picked up, calm and patient, like they actually cared. They didn’t rush me, just talked me through it and helped me breathe. Within an hour, they had me lined up with the right detox center and support I could afford. That one call flipped everything. I didn’t feel alone anymore — they had my back when it mattered most.

Go in with an open mindset . I read all the reviews before i was admitted into compass intervention center and i was scared and stressed on how the place was going to be . i was there from November 9th 2024 - March 8th 2025 and i did 4 months there i wasn't court ordered but i went willingly because i was going through a lot mentally and compass intervention truly saved my life . everybody's case is different so if you get there on the same date as someone else and they discharge before you don't compare yourself to them like i said every case is different . i really learned a lot and how the program worked don't try to over run the program, go with it . the program really prepares you for the outside world and the workers there aren't there for the money most of the staff are there because they truly care about the kids and there wellbeing . if your kids are willing to work the program and aren't going to give any resistance then they WILL successfully discharge just speaking from my experience. a-lot of the staff there are willing to talk to the kids and make sure they are safe and i'm going to give some shoutouts to some staff that are amazing and truly care for the kids .#1 Mr. Kaleb is an amazing staff he was always willing to talk with me and help me when i was stressed out he always was able to pick up on my habits and be able to tell if your mood was off and when you were feeling down .HE CARES ABOUT THE KIDS A LOT .#2 Ms . Tasha she is able to run a shift and ensure the safety of the kids and made sure things ran as smooth as possible a-lot of people didn't like ms.Tasha but overall ms.Tasha was always enjoyable to be around and you felt safe around her because she always was able to help steer the kids away from conflict . # 3 Mrs. Stephens she is a teacher at compass and she always made sure the kids were okay and if you were having a stressful day you could let her know and she would let you work on your class assignments later that day or later in the week Mrs. Stephens is enjoyable to be around and overall a good person . # 4 The nurses and Doctors (all of them ) they were always busy but they always managed to get us our medication and made sure we were balanced on our meds . if your meds make you feel weird Communicate with them if you just see your doctor and tell them every thing is going good with your medication but in reality its not how are they supposed to know .always communicate with them thats something they can't stress enough "communication is key ". #5 Ms. Alasha was my therapist and she was always willing to listen to me and she was able to help repair the relationship with me and my mom she was always professional and she was good at communicating she always makes sure we are okay and she WILL NOT set you up for failure . ALWAYS SET boundaries WITH YOUR PEERS ( other kids there ) . i've been home almost a month now and i'm proud to say Compass was a chapter of my life that i'll never forget because it repaired the ripped pages in my life !!!!! I really appreciate the staff and everyone there for being there for me during my lowest .

The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Missouri vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Missouri. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance.
