I have been to several treatment facilities and this one is by far the best one i have been to. Not only is the facility clean and well kept, the faculty that works there have amazing hearts. This is the only treatment facility that i have been to where the staff actually genuinely care for you and your recovery/well being. They have a unique treatment plan that works. Unlike many places I have been to instead of boring you to death, they actually make recovery fun, which in my experience has a lot to do with being able to succeed in recovery. I have recommended multiple friends and family members to go here when they are struggling with addiction and will continue to recommend Steps to Recovery to anyone who asks how i got clean and remained clean. I recently graduated from STR. I was in programming between May to September, originally PHP and then in the IOP mental health program. While in PHP I was in housing as well. There are family sessions offered too, but I did not utilize that service while at STR.While the house I was at was not perfect, administration tried their best to accommodate every concern clients had with the house. It was overall a clean and safe environment to live in. If there are any concerns advocate for yourself and ask a tech to call a house meeting if it is an interpersonal issue within the house. If you have a different issue communicate that to the director and it will most likely be handled promptly.The PHP (partial hospitalization program) for mental health is six days a week, 9am-1:30 Monday-Friday and 9am-12pm Saturdays. The program changes as needs change. When I first began there process groups were three hours long, but when I left they were two hours long with an additional hour of psych ed. While the day may seem long, everyone gets a break between noon and 12:30. Afternoon there are different types of therapy everyday like art therapy, DBT, CBT.IOP (intensive outpatient program) is only 9am-12pm three days a week, usually Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The director is accommodating though so if for any reason you need to not go on a Monday, you could always go on a Saturday if you advocate for yourself.You ll have one individual session a week with one of the clinicians. I had Ashley and she is phenomenal. While the staff really do care about the clients, Ashley definitely cares about clients and it shows in her work.You ll also have a session with either Dr. Newman or Monique once a week to go over medications they are both amazing!STR is shaped not just by the staff, but clientele too. I have reinforced and grew my support system while being at STR. And while I was in the mental health program, I have substance use disorder as well, I d recommend Steps to recovery struggling with their mental health or substance use. It may take a couple of weeks to really settle into the program, but continue to do the work since you are worth it and advocate for yourself if something isn t working for you.STR is also a great facility if you re part of the LGBTQ+ community. The staff here are not just accepting, but affirming. There is an optional LGBTQ+ group once a week with Christian, which was my favorite part of the week.

The staff were all very nice for the most part. I had some great moments. STR helped me out while I was in a rough position and for that I am grateful. I appreciate that they go out of there way to help people with extenuating circumstances. There are a lot of personalities and that can frustrating. However, I would recommend this place to a friend in need. Overall, it s a good place.

Legacy is an amazing program and very structured. All of the staff really does care about their clients and it shows in everything they do. Between the group facilitators, techs, clinical staff, everyone that works here you can tell wants to be here and help people get better. I couldn t have asked for a better experience, and I m truly blessed to have had the opportunity to go through this program. To have people that genuinely care and want to help is rare to find. Definitely a gem of a program! Shoutout to my therapist also because she s been amazing as well. I ve learned and grown so much. My overall experience with Legacy was life changing. The way the facilitators ran groups, and really interacted with us made me feel comfortable asking all the questions I have been dreading to ask since I started my recovery journey. I loved Legacies programs so much that I decided to stay and do IOP as well and continue my recovery journey! I am truly blessed to have been put in a place that genuinely care about their clients as well as their recovery, from the tech staff, to my therapist (whom I love so much), as well as the facilitators! I would 100% recommend coming to Legacy if you are thinking about starting your recovery journey, it is a decision you will never regret and come to be thankful for in the future!

Pinelands Recovery Center of Medford saved my life and helped me save my own.I was a fifty year old first timer. All of the staff from the top down were kind, giving, caring, friendly, helful and supportive. The individual and group therapy helped so very much and I am forever grateful. The med team and case management were on point as well. The facility is well maintained with many options available. We joked that it was the Ritz Carlton of Rehabs.I can't thank everyone of the Pinelands staff enough...They helped us forge a family both with them and with the fellow clients. I have been coming to this clinic for a little over 2 years and I have had a great experience. Courtney, the security guard, does such an amazing job and makes me feel safe and makes me feel like I m allowed to have boundaries. Which is so good for my mental health plus the small talk that I have with her has gotten me through depressed days that she might not even know of. Somebody just being nice to you for a second helps a lot I feel the same way about the nurses and the girls at the front Tanisha and I m so sorry, but I forget the other girls name but they are amazing as well. McKenzie my counselor is also a great counselor and I m so happy that I was matched with her because I feel like me and her are great match and we have an amazing connection and every time I leave her office I feel better not worse. so I only have good things to say about the methadone clinic here in Somerdale. The only thing is the driving company connected is not good and they lied about something I did so that s my only complaint, but I still give this five stars.

Katie was always available, and made me feel comfortable to share with her the things I need to work on.I was very surprised to receive this amount of individual attention. I was never brushed off or made to feel like anyone was “too busy”. Housing was well maintained and comfortable. Anytime something was needed within the house either a tech, or even Bri and Katie would give us a ride to a nearby store. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a PHP. Thank you Harmony! Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m still sober. 4 months and 2 weeks. But I was amazed how a therapist and case manager took us to get food for housing when needed. I worked in this business. Pyramid Langhorne is AMAZING!All of the staff from nursing to BHT's, kitchen, even the cleaning crew! The campus is beautiful and there's even wildlife. From gardening to nature walks in Tyler state Park. Outside meetings and every evening H&I meetings. Full support from all staff and a camaraderie with the other patients I've never experienced. This was a complete spiritual experience for me.

Our experience with Pheonix started when my husband came home from rehab. I can t thank this place enough I came in hesitant but they are so welcoming from intake to the counselors and the doctor . IOP and PHP are excellent and getting treated in an intense program dor my mental health issues without having to be hospitalized was wonderful. Hope I don t have to come back but if I do relapse or need more help this is the place I would come back to !!

I've been coming here since 2013 and it's great. Kim and John are the best. This place helps with drug addiction, homelessness, runs groups including AA and NA groups, has summer barbecues on the holidays, goes on trips, has Halloween and Thanksgiving parties for those who have no place to go during the holidays, goes on trips, runs self help groups, has a food pantry and a clothing drive, does arts and crafts, has a free printer and fax machine, has free Wawa food on Thurs and Fri. And much more. The staff is very friendly and the building is very clean. I luv this place. I definitely recommend it to ppl who are struggling.

My son has been in the PHP program for a month now and I can t say enough good things. Even though he came home the first day with all the reasons it was a waste and why he didn t ever want group therapy, the group therapy has proven to be the best thing since he s with peers in which he can relate. Even he will admit now how the program has helped. Such a blessing. Hang in there. It does get better.
