Today's marks my 4 year sober anniversary and it all started with Seabrook. I went when COVID was everywhere and unfortunately after a week about half of the staff was out due to testing positive. Even with half of the staff gone, the rest of the staff did everything and anything they could to help those who truly accepted it. You're able to see people from all walks of life, different backgrounds and of all ages struggle to find peace within themselves and know you're not alone. The speakers who come are extremely powerful with their raw true stories about addiction BUT also more importantly about how they're recovering and kept fighting for themselves. I had no idea what to expect when I went as it was my first time getting help and even acknowledging I needed it. Going to Seabrook and getting sober was the absolute best thing I ever did for myself. Life can be hard but it's not attacking you personally. Once you start to heal yourself, you see more of the beauty in the world and in people. There's way and I mean way more good people than bad. They want to see you succeed and just be happy. Those people are everywhere and once you clear the fog(drugs) from your mind and body you will find them. You then become those who helped you and you get to help others just by staying sober and showing it can happen. I know you guys will be open once again to help those who need it. I have so much love for all of you and thank you for never giving up on us even when it's hard. I am a recovering alcoholic and today I have 4 years sober. I have a new career, an amazing fiance and my life is just beginning. Never give up and know you're not alone. Zoom meetings are 24/7 and they're tons of communities online. You got this! 😀❤️

I went to this detox and rehab several times and they always accepted me back and let me keep trying to get myself clean a year and a half ago I went to their pemberton campus which is not the best of places but I made due and I’ve been clean a little over 18 months now so I don’t think it’s ever the rehab because I’ve been literally everywhere just has to do with if the persons willing to put in the work to make the best of the place they can get in get as much out of it and not go back out and use so you don’t ever have to be in an uncomfortable place like detox and rehab rehab and detox isn’t supposed to be comfortable and with how a lot of these places are they make it so comfortable people want to keep coming back but this place not only was my counselor great but the techs were great and went above and beyond to make sure that I was fed if I was too sick to get up and go to any meal and made sure I was up for my smoke break I owe Merryville my life because I’d probably be dead if they didn’t get me extensions and set me up for my mat treatment for when I left. I would like to thank the entire staff at the Williamstown location for being there! This experience was very hard for me and even harder to stay and complete. However, I did complete, Thankfully! The CITs, nurses, counselors, administrators, and in the kitchen (good food) were there each and every time I needed to talk to someone. Helping me find peace within that moment. Thank you all!

This place was and still is a blessing for me. This was my first time in a place like this and it was a very positive experience. I can not say enough positive things about the cit's and Maryville in a whole. I was treated with respect from everyone there. I feel as though they go above and beyond for there clients. They give you all the tools you need to be successful apone leaving and I'm very thankful for that. It is how anything is in life you will only get out of it what you put in to it and that being said I got more than words can say out of it, but that is because I chose to make it that way. I want to thank Maryville and all the cit's / counslers there you guys have saved my life and I will forever be thankful to you all. Big shout out to a few people who deserve honorable mentions as they went above and beyond for me and everyone around them. First is Derek and Tay they work over night and we're always a ray of sunshine when they came in. Mr E is the most down to earth man and super understanding. He is very protective of his clients and it shows in his all around character. Also the cit June bug ( Jesus) he has a great grasp on recovery he helped me in more ways then I can say. Last but far from least is the A team of nurses barb and Julie these two nurses gave me all the respect a man can ask for. Always there to awnser my questions and go over my meds or really anything I ever asked. They definitely are the A team of nurses there.. I am fully aware that each veteran's situation is unique despite having the commonality of service and sacrifice to infinitely varying degrees. Challenges and struggles may be shared, but the first, second, and third order effects of said challenges and struggles will always be unique to the individual and their circle of family and friends. And my experience at this clinic, as well as with the community care resources outside of the clinic, have been nothing but positive and fruitful. Have there been hiccups and issues that needed communication and action taken to remedy? Of course. But the quality of care that I have received from the team here, the Wilmington team, and the community care team has been exemplary and without criticism. I am grateful to far too many people to list here, but I can say without hesitation that each and every team member here has treated me with respect, empathy, and concern for my well being. Again, I will reiterate that each veteran's situation is unique. I am a Group 1, 100% disabled veteran with 29 years of service in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Soldier. I enjoy the benefits of this priority group. Every veteran's service is beyond a written value, but veterans that fall into other priority groups may have to deal with longer wait times for appointments, have to pay co-pays, etc. This is the nature of the system, unfortunately. But priority levels and the according actions are necessary for this system to work. These good people have historically been underfunded and overworked. They do the best that they can for all of us. As a recommendation for my fellow veterans, I implore you to file claims for your likely worsening service-connected conditions and ailments. Stay the course and hold the line. If you are denied in the process, reapply. Work with a VSO that lights a fire on your behalf. Take advantage of all available resources provided by the VA. Many are free to you, needing only your participation to provide benefit. Stay the course. Regards to my brothers, sisters, and the teams that serve us now. Shelly

During our conversation it was determined that Karen’s office was too far for me to travel to. She went out of her way to help me find another counselor in my area that I could speak with. She cared enough to help me. You don’t find or hear of many people going out of their way to help you today. I really have to commend Ms. Kerr for her kindness and compassion. I wanna start the review by letting everyone know that it is no longer Connections it is now Coras.... So I gave 4 stars because I love my counselor. She has helped me work on myself and other issues I have been through. She is also head of the Women's Trauma Group which has been so informative, helpful, and like gaining family that is supportive, none judging, and an amazing group of women.. Sometimes the wait to get in, urines, Doctors Appt., and your number in the queue for your meds can be long. However I hate when people complain about the wait when if they just went earlier but they wait and make themselves late and then blame it on the clinic. You should be there for treatment because you want help to make yourselves a better person not because you need to feel better or a free fix.

My experience at Steps to Recovery has been great for the most part, the people and the environment are very welcoming and comforting. I have had some issues that have come up, but they usually get resolved. My only main gripe is with some of the other clients at the community living house fail to clean up after themselves, and some do not know self control. But, the staff here is very professional and easy to talk to. I find that the opportunities here for my recovery journey are pretty good, although I'd like access to more holistic therapy resources. I've actually personally facilitated a Dharma meeting and will facilitate more in the future. I appreciate my time here at STR and am excited for the future with them.

Ashley rehabilitation center was recommended by over 40 individuals I know in AA. They provide phenomenal service, especially compared almost all other rehabilitation centers. It is no wonder it is in the top 3 in the US.
Please do not be discouraged by negative reviews, those are individuals who thought one month in a center can cure a lifelong disease that requires daily work for life, and thought rehab should be a vacation.
This facility is beautiful. Most other rehab canters are in one building; here it is like a college campus. Ashley provides daily small group therapy, others rehabs offer one per 2 weeks.
Here one receives 1 to 1 therapy weekly as well, ranging from psychology, psychiatry, therapy, spiritual wellness, and even social therapy. In addition, useful tasks are given to help you in your recovery. Those that don’t put in the work are the ones who suffer relapse.
The food is cooked by chefs, not cooks. The only food item not made from scratch is the bagels. Don’t bother hoarding any food in your room for later, you will always be full.
You won’t find this quality of food in most all other rehabs; some rehabs even ration food for the day.
There are more than double the employees than there are patients. Those employees really derive joy from helping others.
Finally: this facility heavily promotes 12 step groups such as AA or NA. 12 step recovery fellowships are the only way to maintain long term sobriety/clean time. Those who fail sobriety are those that want a 1 month quick fix. It requires lifelong treatment.
Know that nothing is going to “work” on, or “fix” your addiction/alcoholism. We spent time out of our lives, and put work in, to use our drug of choice, therefore it will take time and work to stay clean.
Anybody going to rehab with expectations of being pampered, like it’s supposed to be a resort, don’t bother wasting their time. Let the bed go to someone that wants to change their life and is ready to work for it.
I have the upmost confidence in my sobriety because I gained the tools at Ashley, and will work for the remainder of my life, daily, in AA.

Wonderfully serene environment in which to heal and be fully embraced by a very caring, empathic staff. My only complaint was after I left, someone in Admissions was very rude to me the day after I left when I wanted to be connected to the nursing station to thank a certain nurse that made an integral impact on me during my stay. The fact that this woman refused to transfer me or to even take a message for me “if they did happen to have a person on staff there named ________,” was unacceptable. I had interfaced with every single person in that office daily. Also, I have had zero feedback from the alumni website. Supposedly there are rewards for participation, and I have been keeping my daily activities logged , my meetings and appointments diligently, with zero feedback. I do not see the point. It is not very inspiring for continuing motivation of retention purposes, imho.

Through my recovery journey I have been to a number of treatment programs and facilities both php/iop-residential and have done well at most of them, but Footprints stands out as one of my favorites, by far, and the one I have made the most growth and progress at. I came in with a positive mindset, open to any and everything they had to offer and was able to really take advantage of it all. One thing I am most grateful for is the environment and community that grew my positive energy. Everyone from my APN, Dee, my therapist, Michael who I have learned so much from. Jose, my case manager who has always went above and beyond to facilitate any other needs I had. And for Melvin who always was a leader and ready with a smile and positivity. I always felt comfortable and connected. It was always easy for everyone and myself yo be able to engage in group settings and that is a credit to the vibe and energy of each one of the therapists who ran each session. I couldn’t recommend Pinelands more! I had no idea what to expect starting my recovery journey and I was so broken down and feeling helpless. All of the staff at Pinelands help me feel comfortable, encouraged, and supported. The meetings were so helpful and introduced me to the AA Program which I had no familiarity with beforehand. Now I’m close to 9 months sober and owe it all to Pinelands. The alumni program run by Eric is such an amazing resource and I’m so happy to still be able to be connected with Pinelands even after leaving at the end of February. I don’t even know where to start. Pinelands Recover Center of Medford truly saved my life. When I walked through those doors, I never thought recovery was possible for me. I was broken, scared, and convinced I couldn’t change. But from the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by the most caring, compassionate, and supportive team I’ve ever met. I got hit with the “welcome to the Ritz!” 🤣 IYKYK
The staff at Pinelands didn’t just treat me like a patient, they treated me like a person. Once you tell people you’re an addict, people never look at you the same but every single person went above and beyond to help me heal, rebuild, and believe in myself again. The facility was spotless and peaceful, and the food was really really good (seriously, better than I ever expected!). Everyone I spoke with there said that this is the best facility they’ve ever been to. It’s nice! I’m serious!!
I hid my disease from absolutely everybody, my family, friends and fiancé. I honestly feel like I got so lucky finding this place. Pinelands gave me something I never thought I’d have - a real second chance at life. Today, I’m almost 9 months sober. I also just got married a few weeks back and can honestly cry tears of pure happiness (actually happened this morning) because I’m living the life I once thought was impossible.
I remember reading reviews for this place before entering, so hopefully my review can help someone else like me 🩵 If you’re struggling, please believe me when I say this: if I can do it, anyone can. Pinelands gave me hope, STRENGTH, bravery and freedom. They helped me become the person I was always meant to be.

From the very first interaction, their intake and admissions team has been responsive, thorough, and incredibly supportive, ensuring that referrals are handled with the urgency and sensitivity they deserve. The clinical team at Rebirth is exceptional in their use of evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.
