I rate this 10 out of 5. Excellent staff from the cleaning crew the kitchen (chef, the aunties) to the CA to the counselors and of course the nursing and medical staff!!! All the employees truly went above and beyond for me during my time of healing. The experience is what you make of it honestly from person to person but I got so very much and I am heading to my next step any day now. I've used many tools I learned while in there but most importantly I learned to respect and believe in my program of recovery again and I plan to keep climbing. I started as a client and now I am working for Helio. Outpatient, residential, recovery center and inpatient/detox. All amazing programs that a lot of people put their heart and soul into. Some people like to complain about anything because nothing will ever, please them. I have lived on the streets and if someone comes into this facility and states that the streets are better. Then they clearly have never been on the streets. It's all about perspective. If you're ready and willing to make your life better regardless of what you have to do and how it will make you, "feel". If we made people completely comfortable, with all this and that, then no one would leave. I have seen that with different facilities that have all this food and that but then they don't have the proper treatment or groups. But they feed you well. Pick your poison. Some kids act like spoiled brats and nothing is ever enough. Maybe you should change your perspective, it's amazing what is possible by thinking positive regardless of the situation. It's easy to come on here and judge when you don't see it through. Suffering is real. You can choose to let a little rain ruin your day or you can choose to make a rainbow. The choice is yours. We give you the necessary tools, now it's up to you to alchemize what is taught. I can choose to be better, or I can make excuses. What do you choose? The staff was excellent and very compassionate. My first few days at commonwealth rehab I was very sick. I really was not well the staff and the nurses took good care of me and they all went above and beyond the call of duty to give me the care I needed. Once I felt better I began to attend there education groups, which were very helpful and I did learn a lot. I would recommend this rehab to anyone struggling with addiction and wants to be free from this horrible disease. If you go to commenwealth I believe you will learn a lot and they will prepare you for a life you will enjoy again. Give commonwealth a chance to reform your life. During one of the most frightening and critical moments of my life, the ER team acted quickly and decisively. The exceptional care continued in the ICU, where every nurse, physician, technician, and staff member treated me with kindness, dignity, and compassion. As a current resident I can honestly say that this place is great for anyone who's serious about their recovery. The staff is amazing, you can tell that they're not just here for a paycheck, and they genuinely try to make things as comfortable as possible. I spent the holidays here and they really made it easier to be here during that time. Jessica is phenomenal and she is super invested in the place as well each individual's treatment. As far as the usual questions and concerns: you get your own room, cable TV in each room, Wi-Fi available and you are allowed your phone and/or tablet, 3 meals a day (you have to give your food stamps while here but it's WELL worth it) and the cook (Nicossi) is not only great with the food but also a good staff member to have on hand, 2 washers & dryers on site, no smoking but what do you expect from a treatment facility? (Patches are available), on site medical staff, transportation is available for medical appointments as well as to cash any checks however you can't leave for any other reason (again that's expected), there are currently two 45 minute groups a day as well as a quick morning "check in", if you're in an MAT program you're transported to Helio's OTP clinic twice a week to dose and pick up take homes until the next trip, and the staff are really good at keeping a safe environment without coming off as total authoritarians. Again, this is a great place to begin your recovery journey and it's played a huge part in not only changing; but also saving my life. I just noticed that there weren't any reviews and wanted to give some information to those who might be interested in a program. She was not in distress but Enzyme levels were alarmingly high and Dr. could not get a “Stat” appointment for scan. Parking is non-existent for ER patients had to drop her near entrance and then go park. Once in paperwork process was quick, receptionist very pleasant. Timeline: 2:40pm Check-in at reception 4:00. Taken into room to check vitals then sent back to waiting area. 5:00. Brought back to ER exam room 6:15. Blood drawn 7:30. Scan (remarkably this happened after Some prodding at nurses station. 8:30. Scan results (again after prodding) 9:00. Left ER Our nurses were very good and Dr who read scan very thorough in review of results. Problem is obviously the dead time in the process, especially once in an exam room. The 5:00-8:30 time line could have been cut easily by 50%. The staff acts like 4-8 hours at the ER is acceptable. I understand that it is a dynamic environment but that is the job! Staff and organize accordingly. Could have turned over that room and been making the hospital more profitable with some focused attention. The ER was busy but no people on beds in hallways. Worry about the bed bug problem everywhere in auburn but there. Most places spray pesticide in almost all buildings usually several times a week to contol infesting insects, which contributes to alot of the sickness of this world.
