A Heartfelt Thank You to Long Island City Recovery Center Completing my program at Long Island City Recovery Center has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I walked through those doors seeking healing, clarity, and a better direction for my future. What I received was much more than treatment. I found compassion, understanding, encouragement, and a renewed sense of hope. I want to sincerely thank the counselors, staff, and everyone who played a part throughout my journey. Your patience, dedication, and genuine concern made a difference. You reminded me that recovery is not about being perfect but about making progress, taking accountability, and choosing to become a better version of myself every day. As a proud alumnus, I leave this program with greater self-awareness, stronger determination, and a deeper appreciation for life. The lessons I've learned and the people I've encountered will stay with me long after graduation. To anyone beginning their recovery journey, never underestimate the power of giving yourself another chance. Your past does not have to determine your future. Thank you, Long Island City Recovery Center, for being part of my journey toward healing, personal growth, and a brighter tomorrow. This isn't the end of my story. Hands-down, this place is amazing. The staff here down to the cleaning and cook. It's a place that will definitely help you recover. This place makes a person wanna get sober and stay sober. I mean I never seen a place where they show you the concern they do. Such polite and respectful staff. They actually really care about people and people getting clean. I promise you there is no rehabilitation center in New York State such as this. I recommend this place for any addiction to drugs., for you to recover. If you are searching for a detox/rehab this is the right place for you to get better.

The staff and the amenities are first class

This is a rigorously honest review. My stay at The Dunes was exactly what rehab is - sad and uncomfortable at first but then growth and friendships. Next - ive never had chefs cook for me like that. Just phenomenal food. Lastly, the clinicians are the best on the east coast. Life changing.

I just want to say that The Dunes saved my life. I never thought I would celebrate a year - I mean it took me 20 years to get one year clean. I now have almost 4 years clean and I owe it all to the Clinical Team at The Dunes.

I love it here at present I'm here at Phoenix House and it's not that bad...I came here from ACI in Brooklyn NY and the program suits me fine They feed you very well and the staff has been nothing but respectful and courteous to me The groups are informative and the director is a very straightforward no nonsense person They let us run our own groups sometimes and even tell our life story... I've been here 10 days today and I couldn't think of a better place to go... That's if you want a nice quiet way to recover...you can have a phone and even go online and do virtual meetings (AA/NA) now don't get me wrong it's not a perfect program but, what is...My point is what you put in you get out and alternately it's your recovery...So yes it has it's fault however overall it works if you work it... IT'S NOT FOR THOSE WHO WANT IT NOR THOSE WHO NEED IT BUT FOR THOSE WHO DO IT 🙏🙏🙏 Amen...

As with any treatment facility, your recovery depends on the work you put into it. My experience at Phoenix House was extremely helpful for me and overall was a positive experience. It is very easy to get distracted and focus on the downsides of the facility however I was taught (there) about changing my perspective and that made it easy for me to have acceptance and continue focusing on myself. I have been to many treatment centers in the past and have never had a counselor that cared or helped me as much as Michael Robinson did. The facility director Dave S. is great at what he does and from what I witnessed handled any/all issues fairly and promptly. Dave also ran groups which I found to be extremely informative and helpful. Special thanks to the chef Arthur who was extremely accommodating to my unique diet. An even bigger thank you to RSS Rob who in my opinion helped me just as much as Mike and Dave did. I will forever be grateful for my time spent at Phoenix House.

Was a patient here and than at Ronkonkoma years ago. I can't speak for how it is today but if it weren't for them I wouldn't be where I am today. If you don't want help you aren't going to be open to it so you can't fault the facility. But than again it's been about 15years since I was there so I don't know if it's still ran the same. I owe alot to the staff who was there when I was there. Especially londi.

We sent our 17-year-old son there in July 2026,. After hearing so many good things about the program from numerous professionals over the years, we eventually had to give it a try. He was not happy about it, to say the least. He gave them a very difficult time for the first few weeks. The staff was very patient with him. By the end of his stay, he had made a complete turnaround. The real review comes from my son. He has had all great things to say about the staff and his experience. He made genuine connections there and was sad to leave. My only regret was that we didn’t send him sooner. We will forever be grateful for the growth he has made there. I would not hesitate to send another adolescent to that program.

I am so impressed with the staff at Turnbridge. They are not only incredibly qualified and talented clinicians, but also they care deeply about their clients and go above and beyond to support their path to healing. Their family program is so unique and was instrumental in my child's and my family's healing. You will not find a family support program like it anywhere else.

Turn bridge is an amazing establishment to support and help those that are looking for treatment plans that work and are able to continue to nurture and develop those into a richer life.

Excellent experience. This facility offers comfort, safety and great amenities. Staff is extremely attentive and professional. I highly recommend Richard from case management and Jordan from therapy. If you are looking to heal in a safe environment, this is the place to be.

West Haven VA has taken care of me for over 20 years and they are fantastic!

It's not fancy but the counselors are great. I am very nostalgic for my time there. I felt safe there. The focus was on recovery and I had enough freedom to go out and smoke etc

My experience at Seafield Westhampton has been wonderful IF I followed through when I completed.My biggest problem was that I haven't followed the consistant direction that I should have. I recently completed my stay there for the 3rd time,and am working a successful program,which FOR ME,is AA. This stay is simply a set of starting blocks to get you ready to face life on life's terms. Nobody should be expecting a "cure" when they leave. They should have somewhat of an understanding of what needs to be done to achieve their goals. Serenity,peace of mind,and self forgiveness are a huge start. Gina doesn't know it,but she is a huge part of my recovery. Alexandria,and Derrick too. The TA's like Steve,Chris,Rob,Corey,Glen,and everyone else on the staff have always been available for any kind of help. I highly recommend this inpatient for anyone that is willing to simply surrender and find the life that they deserve.

This place is is wonderful. Great activities. Great people. It’s only for people who WANT to get better. I retracted my review and realized it was my family member who doesn’t want to get better. The place is a fantastic, don’t hesitate if you need help.

The front desk staff at the New London VA Clinic are incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They’ve been great at answering a variety of questions and helping navigate VA healthcare. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about their patients and want to help. Very positive experience with this clinic!

This is my local medical clinic. I am a proud veteran of this country and this medical facility takes outstanding care of me.

This is a great place for veterans to go to get their medical care. They have just about every clinic you need or if they have to. They will send you to New Haven to West Haven. Or to Newton Connecticut.

Dental clinic I would say that it is the best I have attended all very friendly, I had the cleaning with Rosemary and it was great very understanding even though I was very nervous. I had an extraction doctor Vesali Meherana and it was the best experience I've had very understanding and good hand I didn't feel pain and everything was fast!

My dentist Meherana Vesali and her assistant are amazing, very kind and professional, they treat you nice, they understand the patient, I just love them so much, I want to thank them for always doing great job from their heart, God bless them Million thanks again.

Waited over an hour in line for a Covid test on 12/23/21. Though the wait was long, the entire staff was amazing. From the security crew managing the line outside the building to the clinical folks conducting the test, they were all so very helpful, professional, and courteous. Thanks for your service!
