Id love to give these guys a 5 but recently I was dropped due to insurance. ( I have medicaid. Which makes me less fortunate then others who pay for there insurance) so after about a year and a half. Outside of that the groups are excellent the facilitators truely care, and the people who are the ones that really make the groups they are great. I thibk due to the telahealth aspect people are more willing to dig into there traumas and passed. I can only hope they 1 day accept medicaid again not only for me but all the other addicts and alcoholics who cant afford insurance to 1 day be able to receive treatment in the same manor I did.

My cousin had a very positive experience with the NJRC program. The staff were professional, supportive, and genuinely cared about helping participants succeed. I relapsed after 4 years of being off benzos. I was lost, hopeless, sick, and suicidal. This place gave me my hope back, took care of my physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. My caseworker, Emily, went above and beyond. My therapist, Judith, was kind, empathetic, and supportive. The techs went above and beyond.. they keep you inspired to keep going on the worst days.. they genuinely care about you, your recovery, and making you healthy enough to go on to the next step. The nurses take care of you, treat you like a human being and try to make you as comfortable as posssible. The doctors listen and keep you stable. This place is the best detox I’ve ever been to. If you can come here and you’ll be taken care of before your next step.

Surgery dept, lab and recovery was excellent. Hospital is always clean, most departments run efficiently and effectively. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. They have a starbucks inside, cafeteria and free parking for both patient and visitors. Wayyyy better than some other hospitals in Westchester.

I had an amazing experience with Phelps for the labor and delivery of my son. The hospital staff as well as the Harrison midwifery practice was amazing. While there are always flaws no matter where you go, it's not a one-size-fits-all. I have personally witnessed for four years many people succeed who are committed to changing their lives. Truth is you have to not only want it but also be willing to work for it. This was my first time visiting this hospital, and I cannot say enough positive things about the care I received in the ER. After dealing with a medical issue for the past eight or nine years and feeling unheard by many providers along the way, Dr. O’Neill truly listened to me. She took the time to understand my concerns, provided a possible diagnosis, and pointed me in the right direction with the resources and guidance I needed to finally start getting answers and feeling better. Thanks to Dr. O’Neill, I am now being treated by another wonderful doctor who also listened to me when others did not. That referral and guidance have made a tremendous difference in my life, and I am incredibly grateful. I would also like to recognize Nurse Erika M., who was equally compassionate, attentive, and professional. From the moment I was seen in the ER, both Dr. O’Neill and Nurse Erika M. treated me with genuine care, respect, and kindness. They took the time to listen, answer my questions, and make me feel like my concerns truly mattered. Their professionalism, dedication, and willingness to listen made an impact that I will never forget. After years of searching for answers, I finally felt heard. When I first went in for detox, I didn't know what to expect; I felt horrible, and meeting new people wasn't easy for me. I wondered if the treatment would actually work. Coming from upstate NY and never attending a detox facility before after my years of substance use, I did not know what to expect committing to this detox facility. But since the moment I arrived I very quickly realized that the staff, from the BHTs to the nurses, case managers, therapists, providers, and supervisors, that they were there to help. That they care, and that they have true compassion for each individual that steps through their doors. If you've been struggling with substance abuse and want help, this is the place to get it. If you're on the fence about committing to a better life, I urge you to take the first step and let them help you! Belated edit: The one thing that doesn't sit well with me about Endeavor house is how hard they try to get you into affiliated partial care programs such as Revolution recovery. I wish they'd have talked with people about alternate options but its almost like you're stonewalled into attending one of them.

In 2001, I walked into St. Christopher’s Inn broken and lost in addiction. I’ve been sober ever since. Out of all the places I went, this was the place where it finally clicked for me. Their long term program and tough love approach were exactly what I needed no sugarcoating, no excuses, just real recovery and real accountability. If you’re truly tired of the life of drug abuse and genuinely want to change, I highly recommend St. Christopher’s Inn. The staff, the structure, and the brotherhood helped save my life. I was so lost and giving up on life and a few good suggestions brought me here. Everyone from the friar in charge of the inn to security and maintenance made me feel welcome. The counselors are the best I’ve ever dealt with. My counselor was amazing, the physco therapist helped me realize things on my own and a former resident who is now staff related to my issues making me comfortable with the process. That guy was a godsend. These people helped me with my addiction issues more in 6 months then I’ve been able to do over the last 30 years. I now have hope and a blueprint that I follow to live a life in recovery. I could never thank them enough

I have not had positive experiences in the past with therapists, but she is the absolute best. She's "real," she listens, she is amazing at planning a session but also pivoting if necessary.
