I was in serious trouble with alcohol and substance abuse not to long ago, so I finally decided to reach out for help and I have to say it has been the best thing that I ever did for myself thanks to NJRC. The entire staff is excellent from the front desk, the administrators to all of the Clinical therapists, Medical staff and Case Managers. If you are in trouble with alcohol, substance abuse and mental health, I would highly recommend NJRC to anyone looking for help.They will definitely give you the help that you need. My life has changed so much for the better with the help of everyone at NJRC. Did I mention the yoga classes, gym availability and the excellent lunches, compliments of NJRC. Enter Erin — the Obi-Wan Kenobi of Seafield. She’s a veteran, a guide, and a master of calm wisdom. She’s been holding it down for years, and it shows. Between her and Debbie, you’ve got the dream team. And then there’s Dan — the Shaolin monk of Seafield. No robe, but all the zen. If you’re lost, stressed, confused, or just need something done, Dan is the man. Reliable, kind, and solid as a rock. If you let this place work for you — and you put in the effort — you’ll walk out with more than you came in with. I know I did.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Seafield. It basically saved my life and has guided me to a much healthier and happier way of living. I have 1 year sober, and I give much credit to this facility for getting me so where I am today. From the West Hampton rehabilitation center, to the women’s sober house, to the outpatient counseling and meetings, it has been nothing short of wonderful and life changing. I have acquired so much from the amazing counseling and people that work here, the way you feel accepted and understood is profound. Mountainside has been one of the best treatment facilities that I have ever worked with. Recently, I had a family member complete inpatient and IOP and I was amazed at how well the team works with their clients. From the initial intake process to referral services, I would have been lost without them!

I would like to share some thoughts about Mountainside and especially our sons recovery coach Christina. Following his completion of a 28 day in-patient program with another provider he enrolled at Mountainside Chappaqua. He is in their Outside Patient and Recovery Coaching programs. Our son and Christina have been working together for about five months. They talk daily and meet weekly. A few weeks into the program Christina began doing weekly calls with my wife and me. Our son works with various therapists, clinicians and other staff at Mountainside. He is complimentary of the entire organization and their contribution in helping him understand his addiction and providing recovery support. My wife and I only work with Christina. Christina is EXCELLENT. She balances professional counseling, insight, accountability, great communication skills and timely follow-up. Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.

40 minute wait in an empty waiting room at 5am, 3 hours before i saw a doctor or got any medication for my pain which was at a 9, and it’s 7 hours now and i’m still here. It felt like nobody wanted to bother with me when i got here because they were about to switch shifts, I was the next shifts problem.

I've been a client here for going on 17yrs. What has finally prompted me to leave a review, was my amazing counselor, Mr. RahJohn Rouse! No other counselor has gone for bat for me the way he has. He is easy to talk to and you can tell he genuinely cares for his clients! Best counselor there! :) a long with his brother who works in the front!! Very kind people and they both make me smile every morning! P.s. PLEASEEEEE BRING BACK MS. FAY!!!! She was, hands down, the best nurse! EDIT: My initial comment about my counselor stands. However, go-to another clinic if you are able. This is a facility that gives those who have frequent dirty urines and are in GROUP an incentive of SIX TAKE HOME BOTTLES if they provide ONE clean urine. But, me, someone who has provided clean urines for over two yrs now (even longer than that, but I had to obtain my med marijuana card) is only entitled to five take home bottles? This makes absolutely zero since. But thanks to their incompetence, I'm finally almost done with this place. Down to 17mgs as of yesterday and I will NEVER LOOK BACK. STAY AWAY.
