My son was sent here from Four Winds Katonah! My son was at Four Winds for several weeks. I couldn't have visits because they said they couldn't regulate him. Since he has been at Rockland he was only been restrained once! Since then staff have told me he regulates himself! Have had a couple of visits and phone calls daily! Amanda the Social worker is Amazing! Our son said the staff help him a lot! I can't wait until he is able to return home and Rockland is making that possible!

All reviews I read on children center are all bad.. due that the kids don't understand. It's not home. Should be like jail.. put us patents threw hell . I would give u a mattress and a sheet . Say there is your room.

this place was fire i miss the staff they was like family 2 me lowkeyy. made close friends, who are now just living their 2 faced life. nyways hey ash i think u might be reading this tell cottage D i say hi

I was at astor home for children from 2001 until 2004... it was an alright place then... i remember singing wind beneath my wings for mrs claudette when she was leaving... that lady used to give my daddy a good talking to when he called... so many memories but not all are great

I was here as a child between 1990 and 1992. I learned so much living there. Best two years of my life. Sometimes, I shed a tear thinking of those days.

I was in Astro home for children back in 1972 and I remember they put me in the cottage I’ll never forget Frank Mulhern, and his wife Donna Mulhern, and their son Keith I remember Artie Freeney I remember Dave Tompkins and Terry the house maid I remember sister Patricia wow so many years ago and I still remember their names. I am now 56 years old going on 57 this year so you know that was many many years ago. I had some good experiences there, but I’ll never forget the day. My mom dropped me off how sad I felt at five years old.

This place has changed sense 85 thru 1987. Wow! I wonder if any counselors from back then are still working at this Old building its kept up well. Love to see it. The memories and good People had a great impact on my life. I will add old stock photos if their interested.

My is Christopher harris, I was a resident here around 1994 I think, this place saved my life. Mr Clinton Mrs Edwards tough sometimes... but fare. It was a great place to keep kids off the street. Thank you an God bless the staff. Btw we almost beat one of the top teams that year felt great to be apart of something thank you.

Its a good place for recovery. And they have a program called the Red Door. I strong recommend it if you're serious about your recovery

Great counsilers, the downside is you'll be waiting forever to be seen.

Gateway Hudson Valley is a wonderful organization. The services they provide are indispensable. The people of GHV care about the people they serve. They are an integral part of the community!

I love everything about Gateway HV! Gateway has been there for my brother (and therefore my family) for nearly 15 years. My brother has been helped with job coaching on the job, internships and computer courses. We were thinking of signing up with the job help, Health Home care case management and PROS (he could get psychiatry through that program. It would be great to have all his services right in one place. My brother has felt like staff are friends that he can rely on. Stephanie Turco, CEO is a dynamic leader...and fun! Top notch organization!

I have worked here in the past and found myself returning at the request of the agency. They treat employees as family and hold true to their mission and values when it comes to those we serve. I am very happy working here and look forward to continuing my employment here. All staff at every level that I have worked with have always been fair and never hesitate to help out when asked.

If your serious and your honest you'll get a whole lot further. I appreciate the staff who genuinely cares and there are several. At least.

I have nothing but true gratitude for Bridgeback who were so caring and really there for me when I needed a true rehabilitation from my alcoholism. 3+ years and still a recovering alcoholic w a great foundation due to Bridgeback!!!

I think this place is absolutely amazing... A bed, food, shower, a safe place to get clean and healthy, AMAZING staff who truly care about what they do and help in any way they can, a great stepping stone for integration back into the world after inpatient rehab. I'm so blessed, honored, and grateful to have been accepted here and have the wonderful team I have on my side and all the wonderful woman I'm here with helping each other this way.. I HIGHLY recommend trying this place out of ur trying to get sober. Jenna, Emma, Karen and carry r amazing..... Update( the new director there is amazing so caring and really truly wants to just help, and it's always there to listen and you can talk to her about anything... I don't know about these old reviews people are saying how terrible this place is I guess that was maybe when it was run by other ppl it wasn't as good . But I came in 5-11-23. Thru 5-10-24... All the workers are Amazing and I can honestly say it helped save my life and ide recommend this place to anyone looking to better their lives and free themselves from their addictions... GOD BLESS FLORENCE MANNORRRRR and the ppl who work there

Wouldn’t go anywhere else great hospital my doctors are always there for me and the staff and nurses are the best always there to help and answer questions and with a smile witch means the world to me. God bless you all and thanks for all you do for myself and my fellow veterans 👍🇱🇷🇱🇷🎂🎂

I had cataract eye surgery today and my experience from start to finish was nothing but excellent, going from check in at the Ambulatory Surgery unit, to prep, to the surgery itself and to the recovery! Clarice Cabahug(excuse the spelling) handled my prep and recovery with total professionalism and care. She carefully explained every step of the way and performed her procedures excellently. I met with each member of the surgical and anesthesia teams prior to the surgery, with each explaining their individual roles in a courteous and caring manner. Once ready for surgery, Maureen brought me to the or, again fully explaining her role. Once in the OR I was introduce to each of the team members, who made me comfortable and put me at ease for the procedure. (The wedge pillow made all the difference in my comfort level and the team needs to be provided with more of these). My recovery period went extremely well, again as Clarice talked me through that process and sent me home feeling very confident in the care that I was given! I also want to give a big thumbs up to Dr. Robert Thomson, who performed the surgery and his attending Dr. Jonathan Nickel! I was able to have my follow-up with Dr. Thompson later that afternoon and again the staff in the clinic were professional and caring. Dr. Thompson explained the follow-up home care and answered all of my questions. I had an outstanding experience today at the Albany Stratton VA. Thank you to all of the outstanding team members!

Going into inpatient… never been here, trying to go ANYWHERE but a place that has reviews like this… but y’all pray for me please!

I cant complain about this place.everywhere you go you will find the wrong doing and the helpful things. Nothing is more important than yourself and your own recovery, keep the focus and ask what are you there for? Special thanks for joe admission, he should be the employee of the year. Thanks medical staff, and case manager Johanna. keep it up.

Place is OK. They need to hire more staff and pay them more. Was trying to talk to one of the counselor and they get have like 10 different people trying to talk to them all at once. If you looking for a place to get away from the city and just to heal your body this place is good to go. Don't expect any one on one sessions. Clients loose it all the time and I have also.
