Everyone is so amazing I have severe anxiety and PTSD and when it comes to me going to anything that has to do with people outside of my home I struggle to say the least and when I came here for the first time I was blown away with how much they made me feel like family I have never felt so comfortable with anything like this so my guard was up and not going anywhere until this place and I thank everyone of them for the progress I've made and continue to make so thank you all from my whole heart and my family's also

Wonderful and understanding people here. The office workers, the counselor's are all great, especially Amber, my counselor. But my 2 favorite people in the building are Doctor Anderson and the addictions nurse, Karen. Them two have helped me with several other non addiction health issues. But I cannot say enough kind words to aptly describe just how awesome this collection of dedicated people who are easy to talk to and who also come from a place of understanding. You Rock A.C.A.S.A. I'd recommend people here, without a doubt.

The staff is friendly and professional. New programs and initiatives are consistently being reviewed and expanding for the betterment of our community. The fundraisers and community events that they hold brings more awareness and education to Warren County.

Wonderful place to go! They really helped me get my life on track, I did the work but they handed me the tools! Everyone there is so nice and professional as well. Andrew is the greatest def had a wonderful experience during my time there!

The staff is very friendly and effective with their treatment. My son has an excellent experience and came out in a much better place then when he went in.

You take away what you need,,the staff was very knowledgeable and they have a 24 hr nursing care.Groups pretty much all 7 days a week but there was time for walks,and outdoor activates. I thought it was best place I had been to........

Thank them for doing a pretty thankless job. They do a very hard job, especially working with some vet. God Bless them

I’ve been with horizon for about 3 years now, they have helped me immensely and have provided me with anything I need to help myself get better mentally in order to live a better life. I am grateful for their services and everyone there has been nothing but kind. I highly recommend anyone thinking of going to therapy to just do it. There is no shame & everyone at horizon will make you feel so welcome.

Horizon was really helpful and quick to contact back to me after my situation with previous mental health organization, they schedule me with Breann Parker, she was amazing, sweet, very listening, very understanding and extremely helpful

This is one of the GED test centers. Staff was very friendly. Difficult to find the entrance to this place though. You need go in the driveway just to the right of the Tops driveway, drive all the way back to the train tracks then there is a gate to the right. Entrance to the Action For A Better Community building is by the small red roof.

Great for counseling, job coaching/assistance(VERY knowledgeable), nurses to monitor vitals & more. They have client groups that meet for dealing with various types of issues. They accept Workman's Comp patients.

So far, so good. Never have I felt at home as I feel here. I have done some friends along the way and they encourage to do better every day. Everyone here is very nice, and the staff is always courteous with clients. They have helped me a lot.

I was there

I was here for a year back in 2013 I think at the age of 17-18. I’m 28 now. Completed the program. Got my GED. shoutout to “BROTHER” the teacher. we called him. That man was amazing!! I think about this place all the time. It changed my life. You gotta want change. If not it will be hard for ya. I was a full blown drug addicted fool at 14. I didn’t know anything else so this was what I needed. I’m not sure how it is today but that’s how it was back then. Of course you had good & bad employees just like anywhere else. We got to go off grounds if you was on a good status level. Behavior wise. Did what was asked of you. I worked at a zoo with some pretty wild animals. Helped out in warehouses making cups. I got a check after I got home for working. Also went to the movies, out to eat, played games. Actually went to a steelers and Giants game in Pittsburgh. Still My 1 & only so far NFL game I ever went to was because of them. I went to church on Sunday. I went to elk county to see elk with the teacher Scott. That was awesome. Forreal. I had a lot of good times here & meet some pretty awesome people and learned a lot about myself. I thought about revisiting just to see who all is still there but judging these reviews. I doubt they are still there. I was in Dakota dorm. Shoutout to everyone who was there when I was. Some names still stick with me. My counselor. Brittany. You was the best 💯. Thank you!! You’re the real MVP. I hope you’re doing amazing… also Bill Cox. Jake. Josh. Creddy. Jen. 🤔 Kaylony? I can’t remember everyone but I will always remember them names. If you have kids here. Go visit them if you can. I didn’t get but 1 visit my whole year there. It sucks & makes time go by so slow. Be there for your kids. Give them that positive energy they need to boost them through this process. Write letters. Send pictures. They look forward to it every week. It was good to live with y’all for awhile. I hope everyone here can make something positive out of it and become something in life. Get away from the negativity in the streets. Chase your goals & dreams.
