I love, love and love the team at Spero Health! Life Changing in all of the best of ways. They know you by name, your needs and goals. The Director, Nurse/Scheduler, Community Coordinator, Doctor and Therapist are all great. I have been able to manage my recovery stress free. They provide daily check-ins and you feel the care. If there are any questions I have outside of the rim of services provided, the information and directions are given to you. My appointments are executed effortlessly with them knowing my schedule and conflicts they may arise. I have been with other clinics before and it did not feel like home. With this company it feels like home and family. The Doctor is adjust successfully without force, He actually listens. Therapy is without judgment and I leave with so much motivation, eagerness to be better in my personal life and all around. I’ve found a new ways to think and feel. Awe man.. I learned so much, it’s been levels unlocked in how maneuver through life and a cheat code to leaning new skills to healing. Trust the process will forever be with me. I have over 3 years in recovery and through some of my most difficult times, Spero has been my saving grace. Alva K (counselor) and Val J (nurse practitioner) have been the BIGGEST blessings to my life. I’ve attended several IOPs in the past and have been successful but Spero Petersburg has given me the tools I was lacking. Alva provides the BEST groups and one on ones I have ever been apart of in my 19 years of addiction. She is by far, one of the most talented and truly inspiring women I have had the pleasure of knowing. To be able to know her is a blessing. Val is a beautiful soul who continues to seek knowledge of addiction treatment daily. She will take care of you like no other doctor will ever try. You will feel entirely embraced in love and understanding as long as you are there for the RIGHT reasons. I have to agree with some past reviews, there have been lots of changes but our new case manager, Amber, is amazing. She will help you with ANYTHING you want to conquer (jobs, social services, training) Toya is also someone I can not say enough good things about. If you have a problem with medicine or appointments, she responds in good timing and truly cares. She will work with whatever issues you have going on or that pop up, no worries, Toyas got your back! My experience at RMTC was a great life learning experience. First I had to come to believe I had a problem and then the staff could do what they do best. Not only did I get the help to treat my addiction I also learned a lot about my character defects that I didn't realize I had. This was tough to come to terms with but the more willIing I was to work on myself no matter how painful or uncomfortable it made me feel the more I was able to get out of the program. I am still sober and clean 7 months later and I am constantly working on becoming a better person. The staff and TA's are amazing people. The food was top notch. The equine therapy something I was skeptical about but it did wonders for me. I highly recommend this treatment center. My only advice to anyone going would be to push your ego aside and be ready to do whatever is asked of you no matter how much it eats at your ego or pride. If you are willing to dig deep inside yourself you will gain a tremendous amount of insight on what makes you tick and and how to curb it for the better. It will put you down the right path to continue to better yourself for the rest of your life.

The Raleigh VA Clinic has exceeded my expectations with every appointment. The receptionist greets you with a smile, which I know is easy only sometimes when interacting with the public.
Dr. Sheryl Joyner is the epitome of professionalism, wisdom, and warmth. Equally, those who work with Dr. Joyner are a joy! Usually, I have "white coat" syndrome when I visit the doctor, and the anxiety elevates my blood pressure. However, nurses like Rashida King had me laughing and at ease in the short walk from the reception area to the doctor's office--no high blood pressure!
Furthermore, Dr. Joyner and Nurse King were informative, relatable, and authentically caring. Going to the doctor is not at the top of anyone's list of things to do, but the staff at the Raleigh VA clinic are good medicine!

Crossroads was my truly life savior....if it wasn't for them I don't think I would be here today....it is a very nice clean place to go....there has been a lot of change over so far as counselors but it hasn't hurt me...I'm very please with Crossroads....I have even brought several people in for help....I don't know how they are doing now tho because I get take homes of 27 now so I stay to myself...Great place to go for help.....

I came to Crossroads in October 2017. I was lost and needed a strong foundation on which to plant my feet in recovery. I found that at Crossroads. I have always felt respected and hopeful with my treatment here. Crossroads has stood by me in my recovery through many trials and tribulations and I’m very thankful! Even though there is a location 3 miles from my home in Prince George, I continue to travel the 30 minute ride to the Midlothian location. I just wanted to leave a review for therapist Chris Hammond at this location. Hands down one of the best therapists I've ever had, he's great at his job, you can tell he's one of the ones that went into this field bc he genuinely has a heart for people. Carolina Outreach really got lucky getting him on their team, I'm super thankful for his insight & how he helps me address things with a new perspective. Highly intelligent, articulate, and empathetic. I really can't recommend him enough. I wish more mental health professionals were like Chris. Thank you Carolina outreach, Chris, and Matt with DBT group for all the help. This place has a phenomenal DBT team.

Just left this a.m, it's actually a state - run faxility but honestly a good one.
The food is plentiful and tastes decent, they provide 2 meaks a day plus 3 snacks, the rooms are 2 person rooms but they try to give you a room by yourself if possible, the place is clean and the staff are kind and professional, slept great and most folks are given valium for the first few days which of course makes the detox process as comfortable as possible. I did the detox did not go to unit 5(the rehab unit).

The head doctor there pissed me off and I love him for it! I checked myself in not knowing I was committing to a minimum of 72 hours. Once admitted, you are stuck for 72 hours. You have to sign a waiver stating you release them of liability if you leave before they release you. I was furious when I found out and immediately signed the release so the clock would start.
The next morning I woke at 6-7 am with the doctor and a few others standing in my room. He said “ You have a chance to beat this if you give me time to wean you off alcohol. If you leave too soon you will probably have severe withdrawals and drink again. Give me more time to care for you properly. You have my word that I will get you discharged as soon as possible.”
I agreed. I felt frustrated and stuck, but I stayed. I thank God I did! Today I am 43 days sober. 45 days ago I didn’t know if I could get sober and make it stick. If I had left too soon, who knows what would’ve happened?
The staff was amazing. One of the nurses (a blonde lady) was quite rude and seemed to only be there for a check. The rest were amazing. I can imagine dealing with a bunch of us going through a mental and emotional roller coaster has to be frustrating for them, yet they seem to really enjoy their work and seem to care about you.
If you need help, these people are great. Their program works if you stay and work with them. Give them the time needed to help you. Also make sure you have support when you leave. I chose AA and it has made all the difference. Treat sobriety like your life depends on it because it does. Get to a meeting daily. Until you have a solid foundation, nothing else matters anyway.

Let me tell you , WBJ saved my life. They do have wonderful staff and the food isnt the best when I was there almost 4 years ago but it was great. It took me 3 times to get straight but ..its a really good place. Whoever is complaining was probably Petty and that person complaining was probably a disrespectful patient. I saw a few in my time there. Luv the staff there .

One of the best clinics I have been to in the area. They have gone through some recent changes and it has made it even better. Probably one of the nicest and most compassionate staffs I have worked with. When they say they will do everything to meet you were you are at they mean it. They all treat you with dignity and respect, and not as a number. I’ve been to other clinics, and I can truly say Applegate is the best. If you are debating starting treatment I highly recommend you check them out!

Went today for the first time and I could not have asked for a better experience! The entire staff was amazing! I was completely comfortable, they took care of literally everything, the process was super smooth and the staff-again, I just can’t say how caring and welcoming they were. They made me feel right at home. 10/10. You won’t regret going here!

I’ve been visiting this practice for years and cannot speak highly enough about their service. The staff is expedient, accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate, and kind. Rescheduling is always easy, and they are more than happy to work with you if you’re running a bit late. Through sublocade I have been able to regain confidence, security, and stability in my life, making me feel whole for the first time since childhood. I can’t encourage those in need of and ready for help to contact the Coleman Institute (AppleGate Recovery) enough.

It's me Wanda C. Mrs Turner Hamlin, At first I didn't understand why my assistance was cut off. But after getting in touch with your agency, I didn't know that I was about to be challenged, so that my insurance could be reinstated.
The ongoing need for MORE information, started to affect me mentally, and physically. I had no CNA, no transportation to my doctor's appointments, No medication therefore left me totally and completely spiraling out of control. I spiraled so hard that I became incoherent to friend and family. . Nothing was making sense to me, but I was in a unstable mind, due to lack of medication. This had to be solved!!! I'd even reached out to my workers supervisor , but never heard back from Mr Gillum. Lack of my Medicaid reinstated, I struggled a unbelievable close to death experience, that don't ever want to visit AGAIN. After countless phone calls, Mrs Hamlin, was able to reinstate my coverage, I was completely overwhelmed, and want to Thank her, for working and not jeopardizing

Miss Haigler is my case worker. And to be honest she is a complete ray of sunshine and is a God send. She has been working all day on my SNAP renewal. After countess computer errors, clerical issues, and phone and email tag, she is still pushing through with the upmost positivity and encouragement. I have 4 children, so this extra money for food is so critical. she is such a blessing to me, and she should be noticed and praised for her continual hard work.
