It absolutely changed my life. I’ve been through many rehabs in search of happiness outside of me. Looking to be fixed. This place teaches you that as long as you look outside of yourself for the answers to what’s going on inside yourself you will fail, that being said this place merely gives you the tools of recovery and a guide to use them. That being the main concept at this place is why I believe I finally succeeded. The program counselor is a no BS brilliant educator and will absolutely be an unforgettable force in your recovery. It’s the most affordable place in the country as far as no insurance cash payment. The environment is beautiful, the rules or “expectations” are absolutely understandable if you’re a reasonable adult so moral is always high amongst the guys, the kind of learning you receive is engaging, thought provoking, useful and fun, and also there’s a dog! I used to think the spirituality thing in recovery was corny nonsense. This place taught me it’s the key to leading a healthy life, being the best father, being the best husband, being the best servant of God as I know him. I will remain spiritually fit because of the tools and methods this program so so kindly provided me with. Thank you to Counselor Jeff!

They have been immensely helpful in assisting our family with a complex situation and seeing to it that we receive the help we need. I’m sober, connected, and thriving today. When I feel pride in my sobriety, I ask myself, “What’s my part in all this?” I recognize that I am clean because of many sobriety programs, like The Blanchard Institute, which have provided me with the knowledge, therapy, encouragement, empathy, and love I needed to move past the guilt, shame, and hopelessness of my alcoholism.
Of course, I wouldn't be sober today without Alcoholics Anonymous and God’s grace and mercy.
“Change Agents” at Blanchard gives me an opportunity to connect weekly with alumni and pay this sober life forward through service work, such as speaking to individuals currently in the Blanchard program, sitting in the same seats I occupied just months ago.
I have struggled immensely in early sobriety, so thank you, Blanchard, for not giving up on me. 😁

As a mother who watched her son struggle with addiction for many years, there are truly no words to describe what it means to see him healthy, sober, and living his life again. Southeastern became an important part of that journey. They gave him the structure, support, guidance, and tools he needed to begin rebuilding his life and believing in himself again.
This Sunday, my son celebrates ONE YEAR SOBER, and that is something I once prayed so desperately to see. Today, those prayers have become reality. ❤️
Recovery takes tremendous work, and I give my son all the credit in the world for choosing every day to keep moving forward. But I will also never forget the people who stood beside him when he needed help finding his way.
To the staff at Southeastern: thank you for what you do, thank you for caring, and thank you for being part of giving families like ours hope again.
You didn’t just help my son—you helped give our family our son back.
From the bottom of this mother’s heart, thank you. 🙏❤️

Charlotte, NC | The Joint Commission accredited Pasadena Villa Outpatient Center in Charlotte as a rehabilitation center. They help those with mental health concerns and dual diagnosis substance abuse problems around Charlotte, North Carolina. This center provides various outpatient programs to help individuals recover from drug and alcohol abuse. Pasadena Villa | Treatments Payment Options | I attended the evening Intensive Outpatient Program at Pasadena and am really glad I did. Felicia is an incredible therapist. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and great at creating a group environment that feels both safe and accountable. She gives you practical tools and skills while also knowing how to get the group engaged and talking. Gianni was also always welcoming and helpful at the front desk.
I really appreciated having an evening option that works for people with 9-to-5 jobs. My only suggestion would be to better accommodate evening participants with dinner or more substantial snack options, similar to the daytime programs. After a full workday, it’s a big commitment to attend several hours of programming, and having food available would make it easier to stay focused and present. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend the program.

Alternative Therapeutic Approaches in Charlotte The facility offers alternative therapeutic approach | Treatments Payment Options | I can't thank Peggy Lombardo (Alumni Coordinator) enough for saving a family member's life. She befriended "Will" long before he was willing to seek help. He was never alone in life because she checked on him regularly and gently coaxed him into getting the help that he desperately needed.
Approximately 7 months after reaching out, Will made the decision to better his life by accepting Peggy's offer of help. Once his decision was made, Peggy instantly started moving mountains to get him the help he needed. She was in daily contact with his family offering her advice, supplying helpful contact information, and even talking him through his fears when they became too great and he wanted to run.
As a result of Peggy's unrelenting quest to help Will, he has received a Certificate of Completion from the Midwood Addiction Program where he received counseling, housing, a sense of community, independence, and gradually took control of his life again.
A little over a month after graduating, Will has found employment and is ready to start this new healthy chapter in his life. When asked if he ever talks to Peggy anymore, the answer is "yes! she's full of valuable resources.".

Lemme tell you about the housing situation 1st.
I read the good reviews and the horrible and the bad kinda concerned me.
I can tell you the bad was not only exaggerated but most just someone salty and spreading total BS.
There are no rodents and I've never been to a house that had zero bugs not even a fly before I got here, not even my father's house. Ok so these 2 floor some with a upper smoking/ lounge deck are nice nice! 4 bedroom 3 full double sink bathrooms , two with walk-in shower , I bath / shower and a half bath by living room. It's fully stocked with any pans coffee pot anything you need.
The staff are some of the nicest ppl and you absolutely get to know them.
You are treated pretty much how you treat them. Just be kind!
Midwood center was the one I went to and the staff there are always awesome. If you need something just speak up, I've seen ppl come through and expect everyone to be mind readers.
I would list everyone I love at Harmony but I'm horrible with names but there are standouts.
Christine, Crystn (sik). Byron,Lisa, Miss Gail
( Amber always pushing DBT therapy 😬) Bobby, the tech who's name escapes me that calls everyone "Big Dog)
And Lastly but firstly Miss Peggy who is the sweetest person I've ever met and she saved my life just by getting to know me calling my phone to talk to someone else. She had my back and actually drove to Salvation Army and helped me get insurance, talked me into Salvation Army in first place and bought my broke ass two packs of smokes
She is absolutely a gift from God and deserves to be the highest paid at Harmony!
But I'm betting she would do it for free
No fear y'all this place is absolutely what you make it.

I used to think I didn’t need help. I thought I could do it on my own. I thought nobody understood what I was going through.
But the truth is… I needed help more than I ever realized.
Coming to Harmony Recovery Center was one of the hardest choices I’ve ever made — but it’s also one of the best.
The staff here aren’t just employees — they’re in recovery too. They’ve lived the chaos. They’ve felt the pain. They’ve fought the same fight most of us are fighting.
They’ve been in our shoes — and because of that, they don’t judge us… they *get* us.
They sit with you in the dark moments. They guide you when you feel lost. They push you when you want to give up. And they remind you every single day that recovery is possible.
They’ve been a huge part of my journey, and I don’t know where I’d be without them.
So if you’re out there struggling, using, or believing you’re too far gone — listen:
You’re not.
You CAN get clean. You CAN rebuild your life. You DESERVE a future you don’t want to escape from.
And if you don’t know where to start — start here.
Make the call. Walk through the doors. Let someone help you save your life.
It’s helping save mine. 💙

Where do I start, first let me say finding mental health help for my husband was an extreme challenge being that he doesn't have true substance abuse issues. However, when I was placed in contact with Harmony Recovery Center OMG! Ms. Evelyn Contacted me, and she had done all the leg work on her side and let me know in detail all that was needed from me to get my husband admitted. Needless to say, the transition was smoother than butter! In a matter of hours not days he was in! They stayed in contact with us through our travels. The staff was super welcoming and supportive! Honestly Ms. Evelyn has made this whole experience for me one of comfort and ease! It's never easy to leave the ones you love in the hands or care of strangers whether they are professionals or not, but Evelyn took all that away with her kindness, willingness to go above and beyond, her compassion, her empathy. All-in-all.... she is AWESOMELY AMAZING! Thank you, Ms. Evelyn, and the entire Harmony Recovery Center Staff

I am truly grateful to be housed at Harmony Recovery Center. From the moment I arrived, I have felt supported, respected, and genuinely cared for. A huge part of that positive experience is thanks to Evelyn Dillard, who is an outstanding housing director.
Evelyn goes above and beyond every single day to make sure everyone here is safe, comfortable, and heard. She treats residents with compassion and professionalism, always taking the time to listen and respond to our needs. Her dedication to helping people rebuild their lives is clear in everything she does, and her leadership makes Harmony feel less like a facility and more like a community.
Thanks to Evelyn, this experience has been not only healing, but truly life-changing. I’m grateful for her kindness, guidance, and unwavering support. Harmony Recovery Center is a great place to be, and Evelyn Dillard is a big reason why.
