Updating my review to 4 stars instead of 2.I have been going here for 5 years. Sad to see Dr. Bentley leave. He was awesome. This place is way better in every way than the Marion center. The pharmacy here is great. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is one of the nurses is somewhat rude and confrontational at times. She should leave her opinions to the doctors and not try to give out medical/medication advice. The other nurse is very nice.

BrightView really supported my son through a tough time. I liked that they involved me too, not just him. The staff explained things clearly, and they had plans in place for after treatment. I just wish follow-ups were a bit more consistent. Still, I felt God's hand moving in that place.

I don’t know where I would be today without Kerri and Marcia. In some of my darkest days of addiction and mental health they were always there for me. Stayed after hours for me, called to make sure I was okay when I didn’t show up for my appointment, always encouraging me and taking time with me to truly figure out the help I needed. New Beginnings is a great residential treatment facility I've ever been in. This facility is very structured for those who truly want to give up drugs and or alcohol, and deal with their mental health issues as well. The staff is very compassionate and very helpful to all their clients. The clients are assigned in facility chores such as cooking and cleaning, after being promoted up in the program, the clients are allowed to apply for a job within the programs vocational/employment department here you able to earn a income while continuing your treatment in order for you to have monies soon that you can obtain housing, transportation and anything else you may need upon completion on the program. There are three phases in the program, you start off as a phase 0 within a two week period and you have met all the program requirements such as (program group meetings which consist of 5 to 6 meetings M-F starting at 8:30 am with the last meeting at night at 8 pm, please understand that there are breaks as well as a lunch and dinner in between these meetings. Any yes, there are meetings on Saturday and Sunday as well, not as many as during the week). New Beginnings has three separate housing facilities; Withdraw Management Facility, this unit is designed to help prepare the clients in the first seven to eight days to withdraw from the illegal substances that may be in their system, get them on any medication that is needed for them; the other two facilities is one for men and the other for women. The women facility has the same substance abuse and mental health programs as the men's facility. One thing about all of the units, a client is not locked in, a client has a choice to either stay or leave the facility at any time. The decision to receive help for the addiction/mental health problems is totally up to the client. New Beginnings has outside speakers who have been sober for years, that comes into the facility and teach the clients the way to recovery and sobriety.

My son has been there for nearly 9 months, I have seen a big difference in him. I've seen the meals they are being provided decent food. Reading these other reviews makes me so mad, I see my son on a regular basis I have never been told I can't see him until I have a drug test and background. As far as the staff they are all amazing I have not had any bad encounters with anyone, the counselors are absolutely amazing and everyone cares about the progress and if my son!!

I visited recently Marion General Hospital Emergency Room and had an absolutely stellar experience! Over my 30-hour stay, the staff’s exceptional care made all the difference. Every team member - from doctors and nurses to housekeeping - was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, treating me like their top priority. Their warmth and compassion turned a potentially stressful visit into one filled with comfort and confidence. As someone with decades in healthcare, I can say this level of dedication is truly outstanding.
A couple of minor tweaks could make the experience even better. The waiting room process felt a bit informal, with patients indicating “who’s next.” Meal timing also had slight hiccups - lunch was delayed one day, and I received a turkey sandwich when the kitchen closed. Clearer communication about meal schedules would be great.
Overall, the phenomenal staff made this a 5-star experience. If you’re seeking top-notch emergency care, Marion General Hospital is a good choice. Thank you to their staff for setting such a high standard.

the behavioral health unit here is the best I've seen in the state . Dr. Jamrose literally saved my mom's life, he discovered issues that 2 other hospitals previously missed . All the other staff was incredibly kind and helpful, place is clean and well taken care of! i am so grateful for this hospital and dr jamrose!

I was referred here, not always thrilled about getting new counselors, it's hard to open up to some. Not here though. My hour long sessions go by so fast, it definitely doesn't feel like an hour. I got Lauren for my counselor and it feels like talking to a friend more than a counselor. I clicked with her instantly. If you want a real connection this is the place for you. I don't have any regrets. Not sure how anyone has had a bad experience. You have to be open to it, and there are waiting lists everywhere for counseling. Especially mental health.

They give you the freedom to allow you to ease your way back into reality. But it will be work. It is obtainable . You learn so much of the insidious disease of addiction and how to work through it! Every Aspect of this facility is magnificent from housing, to counselors , to case managers and directors they all do their job to status quo ! If you apply yourself there is no doubt you’ll go far , and Seacrest was just the tip of the iceberg . I now know Seacrest is my home and continue being my home I feel safe secure loved and worthy when I walk out those doors! If your having doubts don’t , allow yourself to be emerged in the all the possibilities of a happy healthy life.. and that’s all thanks to seacrest

I'm asking about the program actually. At detox how is it exactly? Are the women and guys around one another? As well as the php and housing with the classes. Do you have groups and all that with the opposite sex? It's kind of a distraction for me that's why I am asking lol but while I'm here how is the food and are there TV's in the detox rooms and basically is it comfortable? I have 4 stars to write this comment obvi not bc I know how it is here. So please let me know, hopefully you can comment on this post, not really sure how it works lol thank y'all!

The staff at Recovery Institute of Ohio didn’t just do their jobs—they invested in my success. Their dedication, encouragement, and willingness to walk alongside me through the laughs, the tears, and the hard moments made all the difference.
I also found something I didn’t expect: fellowship. The connections built within the program and the immersion into the Sandusky sober community gave me a sense of belonging and hope.
