Updating my review to 4 stars instead of 2.I have been going here for 5 years. Sad to see Dr. Bentley leave. He was awesome. This place is way better in every way than the Marion center. The pharmacy here is great. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is one of the nurses is somewhat rude and confrontational at times. She should leave her opinions to the doctors and not try to give out medical/medication advice. The other nurse is very nice.

My son has been there for nearly 9 months, I have seen a big difference in him. I've seen the meals they are being provided decent food. Reading these other reviews makes me so mad, I see my son on a regular basis I have never been told I can't see him until I have a drug test and background. As far as the staff they are all amazing I have not had any bad encounters with anyone, the counselors are absolutely amazing and everyone cares about the progress and if my son!!

Great place and great staff Mrs D Ryan and Mel are the best RA's but they are all amazing 🥰 and the counselors Ryan and Tiara are amazing as well! The Groups are great full of information, tools, and coping skills you need to move forward in your recovery and they always make it fun and interesting so it's not just boring and school atmosphere-ish and the 2 discharge nurses do their thing to make sure you understand and choose where you go after and everyone genuinely cares about you and your recovery been to many and this one by far has got my attention and actually made me feel like there is a brighter future and it's not as lame as we think it's going to be in active addiction!! not a single place isn't going to not have hick ups and issues but they were great at solving issues that arise and fix anything they can Thank you guys and keep up the amazing work

She connected me with long term aftercare in Alabama and I have since enjoyed multiple years of continuous sobriety, a new career in the recovery field myself, and a life beyond my wildest dreams. I just wanted to thank promedica healthcare facility for caring for my mother so well. The nurses was so kind and understanding and patience with my mother recovering from major lung cancer surgery. When she arrived she couldn’t walk or hold a cup on her own. Now with the rehabilitation staff and nurses she doing all that. I couldn’t ask for a better place to take my loved one. I have mixed reviews. When it was the Nord Center, I had two very negative experiences. When I was in crisis mode I went to the emergency shelter spot and told them that I needed to check myself in because I was very upset my emotions were high but I did not want to harm anyone or myself. And the guy at the door was winking at me and asked me if I was suicidal and told me that I needed to say yes in order to get in so I almost spent the night in my car because I was facing homelessness at the time. I was having problems with my relatives and my blood pressure was sky high I should have gone to the emergency room and had somebody that was much more understanding about how I was feeling. The other time was when I was taking a medication that was causing a side effect but it was also making me feel like it was an addiction to it and I didn't have any of my pills because they were at my daughter's and she refused to allow me access to them. I was out and did not have anything else to back me up then when I came in to talk to the nurse my blood pressure was sky high just like the other time and she told me she wasn't going to check it because that's exactly what I did not need to do since it would be high and it wouldn't make a difference but she never said anything that would deescalate my emotional state she made me feel worse than I was already. The medicine was prescribed by them but for some reason she wouldn't give them to me and there was no reason for her to do that. When you go to a place that you need help from you shouldn't be turned away because of the way they make you feel you're supposed to be able to feel better when you talk to them not worse. Not having the coping skills that I just now obtained I can look back and say that I wish I had never gone there. However two very good things I could say was that when I did finally get into a place and I needed to make a deposit the caseworker named Sharon was there to help me she even showed up and made the deposit in person she met me wherever I was at she been over backwards to make sure that I was taken care of and Sarah from quest vocations she helped me get a job she helped me with my resume and help me with all my applications I finally got hired and despite an accident happening with my second job that I got hired through my first job I got hired on my own but it was a performance-based job which I could not be fast enough at. However Jeremy was there to talk me through every time where I had problems with dealing with the management and for that I was grateful.

I went to residential this fall. The staff is just incredible. There is someone there for you 24/7. Only 15 beds so you really can work on your recovery with the smaller groups. They will help you with your aftercare program and after you leave will always be there for you if you need them.

I have been to rehabs that charge out of pocket and ones that take Medicaid. Talbott hall is among the best places to get treatment that take Medicaid. This place saved my life when I was at my lowest. Detox was comfortable and the out patient programs have been solid.

If it wasn't for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. I have been going to the Akron VA for 4 years now. I have had nothing but amazing experiences from them. They really care about each and every single veteran that walks in those doors. I live 35 minutes from the clinic but its worth the drive. I would choose the Akron VA over the Canton VA any day.

I get ECT therapy here and the team is absolutely fantastic. Everyone is so warm and caring, even the front desk staff, and especially Dr. C. The therapy has helped a lot too. Biggest complaint I have is I got blood on my shirt once because I ripped my IV out while coming out of anesthesia and they couldn’t get to me quickly enough!😂 If that’s the worst thing that happens, it’s not even a problem. Definitely recommend coming here for ECT, it will change your life!

Not sure why so many bad reviews, I stayed for 5 days and all of the staff were great, front desk, nurses, therapists and doctors were all extremely accommodating and caring. They give you tablets every evening to order your own meals and can even stream hulu/netflix and play games as well as access mychart and educational videos. Group therapy was fun and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is struggling with mental health issues. They got me on the right medication and made sure I was set up for success with outpatient programs!
