I have been going to the Akron VA for 4 years now. I have had nothing but amazing experiences from them. They really care about each and every single veteran that walks in those doors. I live 35 minutes from the clinic but its worth the drive. I would choose the Akron VA over the Canton VA any day.

I celebrated 12years sober on 4/8 and it all started at the Y-Haven program. I arrived here broken and lost. This place gave me the tools and time to get myself together before heading back into the world. I will forever be grateful for this program and their staff. I broke a rule when leaving, I kept my key. I keep this key on my key ring as a reminder of my past and to what I've learned. Sorry Y-Haven, your short one key to F-605. 😆 Thank you for all that you do for the community and families.

I'm getting deeper into my recovery here they're very helpful with programs and avenues. I couldn't be happier with their care today I'm grateful to completed my previous programs at landmark and legends. They all serve a purpose and I say today it's about the willingness to obtain a sponsor, home group, multiple phone numbers and multiple sponsorship. Build relationships with others in the program because it is a "WE" PROGRAM. I see so much negativity on here, I realize that most have never read the chapter "working with others" and they have no gratitude. Y-Haven keep doing what your doing. It's minor things wrong with the place, but overall great program and thank you for keeping the doors open for me and others. I have heat, water, food, safe place, meetings around me. For others coming into the program of recovery don't look for the negatives, look for ppl who want their recovery like yourself and stick with those ppl. Thanks for the opportunity

Personally, I loved my experience at Matt Talbot for women. Between the food that was good for a treatment center that is just there to get you back on your feet and the lovely RA’s I felt welcomed and at a comfortable place to restart my life. I believe people don’t realize that once you bring yourself into a treatment center you’re giving your life over to the care of people that are just there to help you get sober, but at Matt Talbot they do so much more than that. I got a sense of family friendship and peer support. I want to give a special shout out to the RA’s Ms.Shannon, Ms.Lacie, Ms.Robyn, Ms.Arnetha, Ms.Ashely, Mr.Jerry, Ms.Gloria and more. No matter what time it was, they were there for me when I wanted or Needed something. If it was someone to talk to when I was feeling down or just a pen to write in my journal if it was a volleyball game to play outside or to listen to music on the speaker, they did it with a smile on their face and no hesitation. Not only were the RA’s Delightful And like a family to me, the counselors and group facilitators were also amazing. To name a few Ms.Dorlene was one of the best people to do groups with, my counselor Ms.Jill Was very supportive and a great listener. Ms.Liandre was also great with her groups and a very strong woman who was fair to everyone and gave us candy. Ms.Erin I didn’t work with personally, but she did a good group with Ms.Jill. Same with Mr.Charlie I didn’t personally work with him but he did a good group and was fun to be around. Long story short if your looking for help to get sober In a clean environment with a sense of family And supportMatt Talbot is the place to go.

It was too notch care & its a good place to start your life over & the food was catered/great.. It seems to operate within the bounds of good decent Christian values. I been to a luxury treatment center in Florida & Matt Talbot was even better in multiple ways... I asked a judge to send me there because I said I would leave CBCF whoch is a sham... I honestly really enjoy coming here. I bring my son for therapy and I also come here for therapy. they have many people here that are nice and friendly. they also have social workers here to help with things you might need. for me they go above and beyond for my family.

Really nice friendly place been great to me for years now they get things done. All staff and Dr are super knowledgeable can't thank this place enough for all the help they have done for me my life is much better from counseling than when I started I have learned a lot!!! Great place!!!

My mother is mentally ill and has been coming here a few years now and she says they have a great program and a great staff. She says they have always treated her with respect and compassion, and that the treatment they have given to her has worked. She is really happy for having them in her life because she is better every day because of them.

Specifically for the care at the cosgrove maternity ward. We were delayed to have our baby induced and the staff was extremely apologetic. Understaffed and high volume of babies being born, the team here is incredible. This was my second delivery here. My primary nurse Macey is so kind, caring and friendly. Bubbly and professional, she made my experience go so smoothly and was so personable. After in recovery all of our nurses were fantastic. Brenda Teddy and Emma were attentive, friendly and made me feel our concerns and voices were heard. Shout out to Olivia whom is probably the sweetest, nicest staff member I've ever had! She is truly in the right profession.

The team is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, prompt to respond for every need. Physical therapy and occupational therapy team did above and beyond to get me ready to function safely at home!!

Good place good for all

Everybody here was awesome, they are on time and on schedule. The food is punctual and everyone always asks me if I need anything. There is so much to do in the gym. They have updated equipment it’s nice.

Excellent place to rehab! Great atmosphere and an excellent staff in all areas of Occupational and Physical therapy. The office staff is fantastic, too! Love this facility!

My 2 children have been coming here for a little over a year. I was able schedule my kids to be same day & same time! I feel there counselors have their genuine best interest at heart. I wanted to add to the people who have influence in my children’s life and now they’re a part of our tribe! Huge advantage to have the trained, professional, relatable, and teaching emotional intelligence to my now 10 & 11 year old! ***Would recommend***

I highly recommend if you want a Suboxone doctor, please go to Dr. John. He is the most kindest understanding Doctor, I've been going to him 7 to 8 years got recommended from a friend instead of going through the government where they don't treat you the greatest and care about your well-being he does He's easy going to talk to and I hate going to doctors but if I can rate him 1 through 10 Stars I would rate him 10 stars I would rather go to a doctor that I pay that actually cares for your well-being than a doctor is just going to tell you whatever and the staff. There is one of the best stuff ever. You feel like you're at home. They treat you like family there. Highly recommend people instead of going to government save money up and go to him cuz he highly truly cares about his patience and he saved my life.
