This place may not be the best with bed situations but they really do care and try I will say if you want to get clean you can definitely do it here yes some people sneak things in but in reality that's everywhere the only thing I can say to help prevent it from happening while they are there is stop having patients take out trash & also they leave notes on windows for people to see & drop drugs off zoey tried very hard to get me to stay about 2 years ago but I wasn't ready yet this was one of my first rehabs & it surely can be way worse also they try to keep the guys and girls away from eachother but it doesn't work well I feel like they should drop that rule all together

I attended the rehab in 2019 they honestly helped me find God and they saved my life. Angie and Barry are like angles sent here to save the 1 that left the 99. I am forever grateful for them and all the people who helped me get there. Thanks to them I have my daughter back and am getting married to the man of my dreams and working a great job making good money. I could have done it without them and GOD.

These guys are absolutely tremendous and provide an incredible service. Cannot say enough good about them. I’ve been working through my things with them for going on three years, more for personal maintenance than peer/crisis support. They’re always there. Always consistent. I could mention names on the 24 hour crisis line, but they know who they are that do wonders for for me. Only love for Pathways of Ashland, Kentucky.

Great program... Ran by addicts (mostly)for addicts. They offer a great team that offers mental health also. They offer genetic testing to see what meds are best for the individual. After 30 days you can work and there is a lot of freedoms that other rehabs don't have. Safe environment that drug test almost everyday. High success rates from what I've seen. I've been here 7 weeks and look forward to the next 5 weeks.

, Mended Reeds is a fantastic place to go. They truly gave my daughter her life back. My daughter was there for 90 days for alcohol addiction and is doing absolutely amazing.

I have been with this group since the offices in Hilliard and Columbus. The ladies in this office are so incredible, professional and kind! They go out of their way to help in absolutely any way they can! They genuinely care and want to know just how you are doing good or bad. I wouldn’t trust my recovery in any other offices hands. I will be forever thankful for all they have done for me.

It’s rare you find a good Doctor and the entire staff is amazing as well! There have been some changes of doctors but every single one that has been through there are just so kind and caring, which is what you want in your doctor! I look forward to my therapy sessions as well!

Dr Shela Forbellah has helped me more than any Dr in a lot of years. She's very intelligent and professional and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I just wish I could have gotten in to see her a year and a half ago. I truly believe that I would be in much better shape and less health problems if I found her back then. Not many get 5 stars from me but she deserves it. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much of a difference you made.

Our therapist Cook is amazing. He sets down and listened to Everything said. You can feel awkward about anything and He Will set down talk it threw with You and help You understand everything so You can cope with what is wrong. Your time with Him is just that, it's Your time...He pays attention and isn't on the phone or anything. Best therapist EVER. Dr. Rhett is great only seen Him twice but He's amazing. He not only knows about the mental meds but He is like a full Family Dr. I told Him about my brain cancer tumor and The 2.2 by 2.4 measurements and He knew everything about that too. He's My Husbands Dr and He knows about the lung issues fibrosis and everything. Rhett listens too and can explain your medicine without looking on His phone like some Drs. He just knows about the medication and that makes me feel good because He must read and study the medicine to make sure it's what is best for You. Pathways is Amazing for Us. Plus My Wife gets side track watching the cartoons in the lobby 😀

Dr Katz is the best! I’ve never felt I could actually be myself and open up to a doctor like I have her. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with doctors in the past, but I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Shawnee family health. They are all very friendly and I just love my doctor so much she’s the best. She truly cares about her patience all these other negative comments on here. I don’t see that there I’ve seen it many other places, but not here so don’t listen to the negative negative comments if you wanna know, go in person and make your own opinion and I about guarantee it’ll be a good one. I feel the people leaving bad reviews are just doing so because they didn’t get the medication they wanted or something. I’ve never had any kind of issues with them whatsoever and I drive a very far distance just to see Dr. Katz because I love her so much and I know I’m not gonna find another psychiatrist that I feel that comfortable with so thank you Dr. Katz for being a wonderful doctor a caring doctor and so real and down to earth and thank you for caring about me. It means more to me than I can put into words

I’ve been going to this clinic for over a decade for severe mental illness and as my primary care provider. As a long term patient there, I know most of the staff by name. I have a lot of love and respect for the staff especially my doctor Deborah Katz, they treat you like family. They care about your health and wellbeing. The negative comments on here are just Karen’s and Kevin’s complaining because they have nothing else to do with their lives. I recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone I know. I refuse to see another clinic.

My expirence at boca recovery truly has changed my life around for the better, they helped me recover from a methadone dependency and alcohol abuse comfortably. The amount of information that I have been taught to take back home with me is phenomenal to continue my recovery. And the fact that it feels like clients and staff are one family all going through similar struggles but coming out on the other side whole is inspiring in itself!

I attended Boca recovery center for 9 days. I spoke with somebody on the phone that recommended me seek treatment there so I listen to their advice. I was told that they would have AA meetings or NA a meetings every day. In the 10 days that I was there there were zero meetings held. I held my own meetings just to have one. If you want real recovery and are interested in AA/NA as a form of treatment do not go to this facility. Also when I asked to leave to be transferred to another treatment facility I was treated with much hostility and was lied to by the clinical staff. I only wanted to make a call to another treatment facility so that they could reserve a bed and arrange travel. They would not let me do this. The technical staff and nursing are the star of the show there. They helped me more than any of the clinical staff. They know far more about recovery than any of the clinical staff that are actually paid to manage recovery because many of them are in recovery themselves. Unfortunately many of their "classes" are just them putting on a YouTube video for an hour in their theater room. The clinical staff not only restricted phone calls to my family and treatment centers when I asked to be transferred but also treated me with hostility and lied to me every chance they could. I was told that Uber does not service Huntington Indiana and I believed them. When I asked to leave they walked me off property with my suitcase in 22° weather and pointed me in the direction of the "nearest" hotel. I started walking and put hotels into my Google maps and they pointed me in the completely wrong direction and would have had me walking miles with a suitcase to find it. After I googled the nearest hotel I found out that there was one half a mile away in the opposite direction. I do not think this was intentional though. God was looking out for me and I was picked up by somebody nearly immediately and am now and I good environment and have a bed booked at a different treatment center and a flight arranged. I did not want to leave because I wanted to go out and use, I wanted to leave because they did not host any AA or NA meeting. I have tried everything else and in the past the program is the only thing that has kept me sober and they seem to have an aversion to that. Do not go here yourself or send a loved one here if you want true recovery. Shout out to Joe and all of the other tech staff and nurses they actually care about you. Think through your decision thoroughly before you go here. They say that they are in the top 10% of recovery centers in America and this may be true of their other facilities but the Huntington Indiana location is by far the worst treatment facility I have been to and unfortunately I have been to six. I caution you again to think through this decision before going to this location and to thoroughly consider other options as just about any option is better than this if you want long term recovery. In my opinion only God can save me and if you believe this do not go here. Also thoroughly look at the reviews and consider the rating when you do.Also read every review as many of the reviews are left by staff which is against Google policy and misrepresents the true nature of their facility. Over 6 months clean no thanks to this facility.
