Skeptical? Yes, so were we. We have had the unfortunate opportunity to put our teenager in one of those 'other' PHP places that actually made her worse or not help at all. I came here - just like you - curious and helpless. Embark has a delightful 'home like' feeling not that cold hospital hardness feeling. They have an inviting atmosphere as well as the staff. The staff all knew how to approach our teen and work with her. Medicate her correctly after many questions (again - I was skeptic) but happy to help and answer anything we asked. With Embark, there was a light at the end of the tunnel. A breakthrough if you will. Their PHP was educational with the non-hospital feeling. Our teen will still have their issues, and bad days as we all do. But - it will be easier to face with confidence. You won't be sorry.

Our family is incredibly grateful for the care and support our daughter received through the PHP/IOP program. From the very beginning, we felt a sense of trust in every staff member we encountered—they met our daughter exactly where she was, with compassion, patience, and understanding.
The environment was safe, accepting, and truly conducive to healing. Not only did our daughter gain valuable tools that she’ll carry with her into the future, but we as a family felt supported every step of the way. The program’s commitment to family engagement made a meaningful difference, helping us stay involved and informed throughout her journey.
Even as she transitioned out of PHP and IOP, the team was there to guide us through next steps and ensure continuity of care. We can’t thank them enough for walking alongside us during such a vulnerable time. Highly recommend to any family seeking thoughtful, comprehensive support.

By far the best staff who cares for everyone that comes through the program . Still allows smoking cigarettes and you can purchase them in the vending machines . When I needed help I would come to malvern king rd and also willow groove . If you want to get your life back on track please consider this place !!!!

I recently completed treatment at malvern (king road location) the facility is decent , they seem to keep it very clean and so do most of the patients . I gave a solid 4 stars because of these factors:
the grounds are nice they provide a decent sized walking trailer , they have outdoor games and activities that everyone who is able can get involved, they have decent sitting areas . The food was okay, some days the meal choices were odd, like grilled cheese and Italian wedding soup for lunch then burgers with tomato soup for dinner , alas it was still tasty. The staff were great ,they all seemed to actually give a damn , and I cant tell you how many positive things they say throughout the day.( Lynnwood, doreen,Justin, Evan, Katie, Kristie, Jen, Matt, Charles, Shaun) my small list of people who made my stay worth while . Along with my counselor Maddie putting in the extra 10 percent to make me comfortable during my time there. The negative factors, there isn't much curriculum, I think the patients would benefit from more book work , I have done tc program in state prison and while there was a lot of book work it helped me greatly understand myself more and learn how to practice healthy coping skills and positive self talk , even how to adjust my core beliefs. All that from having to do some book work . In malvern most of the groups are just open floor discussions, not much is done to help people change the negative self talk they impose , or better yet give them a solution to there problem . I have several years sober before I relapsed and I would often re read my books from TC. SO a more structured tc like programming there may be very beneficial. Further more there is a lot of favoritism going on within the facility which seems to cause push back with patients and there is also alot of fornication taking place which is often lot ho several times before the individuals are removed from the program. Maybe using the advantage of several facilities, and further separation by age would be best. It seems the younger individuals are more interested in the sex acts then the older ones. But all in all the place wasnt bad id love to apply for a job there to also help people and even help make the place better one day . My advice is if you go , your small group is the best group to share in .

My experience has enlightened me and inspired my path of what they call treatment and recovery which I renamed Training staff is impeccable and caring. Upon arrival I was welcomed by Melissa with open arms and a huge smile that made me want to stay instead of run away like most. Most Techs are great even knowing they are 1/2 my age. The ones that stand out most as super stars are Jeff N, Terrance. Darrell and Matt. Therapist super stars are Jamie. Alexis and Matt. I am extremely happy with my choice and am sober and loving life. I have been integrated into Legacys treatment for A DAY and the staff, community, as well as the setting is nothing like any other experience; They provide lunch and other food for anytime, the staff call out our flunks, therapy is provided at the highest quality once or twice a week, an inhouse doctor prescribes and stays up to date on your medication journey. Simply an awesome caring facility. The staff gives 100 percent and then some! They display a true genuine concern for those in their care. Communication is exceptional! My son has been in many facilities over the years and Provive Welles is the best place that he has been in and made the most progress. Everyone that I’ve communicated with was phenomenal.
However, the majority of my communications were with Megan, Emily and David. I must give them special recognition for my sincerest appreciation.

Been this way for about a week….I mentioned it in front of the house manager and nothing happened. Today was the worst of my urges. This place was great for me and I think it would be great for anyone who does it for the right reasons. They say we'll find whatever we're looking for and if you're looking for a good environment for treatment this is the place for you. The clinical staff was great. My therapist challenged me and I grew from it. The techs were hit and miss but anywhere I went I feel like its the same. When ppl care about their jobs and put their hearts in it, it really does make a difference in the lives of those struggling. The team at Recovery Village cared enough to do whatever they could to accommodate anyone and everyone. If you want recovery you have to work at it and this place provides the tools to make it just a little bit easier to accomplish. I am pleased to give this 5-star review of MRC. I attended PHP and IOP, and had individual counseling twice a week. The counselors are excellent. They encourage a lot of participation in the groups. The topics are relevant to recovery- stress management, 12 steps, nutrition, body-mind connection, gratitude, and a lot more. Weekly yoga is offered and it doesn't matter what level you are. I was supported and cared for all the way through the process of outpatient recovery.

I am very happy going to Montco Recovery Center. I get a lot out of my groups and I especially like my counselor Bill. He's very helpful in my recovery. I also get along with the majority of people in my groups. If anyone asks where to go for recovery I will definitely recommend Montco!

I picked this center because of it having all 5 star reviews, and many of them. I am happy to add one more to it! Ownership is amazing, and every staff member gets to know every client on a personal level. The center itself is a wonderful property. My counselor Chris is extremely relatable, knowledgeable, and helpful. Bill makes groups fun and impactful. Angie and Pam bring years of inpatient experience to this outpatient experience. Pam’s art therapy breaks up the weeks with fun activities and Megan’s compassion and insight makes you feel comfortable about opening up. Probably my favorite group of the week is the last one on Fridays where Pastor Jay has everyone on the edge of their seat while roaring with laughter. All this creates an amazing community with the sober living being by far best experience in such I have ever had. PRC is an absolute 10/10!

This is hands down a 5 star facility and program. The entire staff is professional, supportive, and encouraging during your treatment here. I wouldn’t have made it as far as I have without being there. I did the outpatient program but other patients here enjoyed the housing program. There are a range of therapists to choose from and they’re all great. There are different group therapies to sign up for if you’re interested like yoga, raki, etc. Don’t hesitate and sign up to change your life.

I signed up for outpatient treatment and the staff was very friendly very helpful and my therapistMr. Derek) a good dude, very understanding never looked down on me because of my alcohol and powdered cocaine addiction. Unfortunately, my addictions got the best of me and I relapsed and didn't return.I was so ashamed of myself I didn't want to show my face and went back to boozing and now thankfully I'm finally getting help that I need. I was admitted to Jefferson Hospital suffering from severe alcohol withdrawal syndrome, borderline experiencing auditory hallucinations. I was also suffering from gait abnormality and balance and coordination issues so they transferred me to Wyndmoor Hills for Physical therapy and once I'm discharged well before I'm discharged, I'll pick a rehab facility for inpatient treatment.Wish me luck.

When one decides to seek therapy, there’s so many emotions that run through your spirit about it. Being vulnerable, being transparent, combatting what we may view as weakness, and fear of facing the unknown face first and healing! I struggled with this myself, I even had a panic attack prior to coming to my first session with Dr. LaRhonda Harmon from the very first session saw me when I was so invisible to even myself… I was a battered spirit and even through my imposter syndrome of my own talents, she helps me see me for me through my own eyes. I never saw myself in therapy, heck I thought I was fine until I needed it! I loved Malvern. Their counselors, their techs, and the groups especially helped me a lot. I am 7 months sober since July 13th, and I can say Malvern helped a lot in that. Thank you so much!!!!!!! I have established life long friend connections because of that place. I will never forget when they helped me out when my cigarettes got stolen. I am writing this review on behalf of the outstanding care that I received at Valley Forge Hospital. From the moment I walked in the Security guards were so very helpful. Once I completed they took me to my room. My first bed was on the third floor. The nurses were fabulous. They took such good care of me fantastic. All of the nursing staff was excellent. There was a time that I was having trouble with one of my medications and Megan the charge nurse went out of her way to help me. Once I met my counselor Fred I knew that I was on my way to healing. He always took his time to go over and above to listen to me. He was very honest and truthful to me. Plus he always offered candy after our session. Once I moved over to the Ranch I came in contact with Davon. He was the most knowledgeable compassionate caring loving Leader at Valley Forge Once I moved to the Ranch I was blessed to meet Kevin. They made the stay at the Ranch so much easier. The speakers that did groups. Always gave fantastic knowledge of the N/A and A/A program. Before I close I would like to share how grateful I am that I had Dr Andrew as my Dr. He was very knowledgeable very caring and always met my needs. I will close for now saying. God bless all of you. Amazing staff who make sure you’re are well taken care of and comfortable. The chef made incredible food for every meal and stocked the fridge every day with fresh food that we could eat at anytime as well. They also kept the freezer stocked with ice cream and water ice. The facility is cozy and kept very clean. There is a smart tv in every room as well as in the lounge/common area which is set up like a living room. I found the groups helpful. There are 3 hour long groups you can attend but don’t have to and either an AA or NA speakers that comes every night for an hour long meeting. I liked that Sunrise is a smaller facility, having room for about 20 patients. This made it easier to open up and share. You are able to go outside for fresh air or to smoke anytime except during group time. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Sunrise Detox. Thank you to all the staff! You all are amazing!!

I went to sunrise 6/7 for the first time ever and I don’t regret a single thing about. Never been to detox before but the people who work there actually care about you and want you to get better. It only works if you are ready though. The food was amazing everyday, the counselors are there to help you, and the doctors/nurses want what’s best for you. I will 100% be going back there one day to speak to the patients to show them that recovery is possible. They also help you with finding resources after being discharged. I was recommended tk a doctor for the sublocade shot and had it done within two weeks of leaving sunrise. It’s a smaller operation but I found it to be better.

I had the pleasure of touring Blueview Recovery earlier this month and was extremely impressed with the facility. Their evidence based programs are tailored to the patient and encompass a variety of modalities that offer the patient comprehensive treatment for long term recovery. The counselors are highly qualified and compassionate, as are the administrative staff.
In addition, I had the opportunity of touring their sober living men's house located a few miles from the facility. It is a beautiful contemporary home offering a comfortable and safe environment for the residents.

This was my first time in treatment, there was alot of miscommunication among staff and clients. I can truly say Harmony Healing Center gave me the tools to start living a clean life. Katie was always available, Bri the case manager was available as well. The techs was welcoming upon arrival. There was some ups and downs. Jasmin made sure i was good every day. I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to come here. Bri did everything she could to help with FMLA and short term disability. Katie was always available, and made me feel comfortable to share with her the things I need to work on.I was very surprised to receive this amount of individual attention. I was never brushed off or made to feel like anyone was “too busy”. Housing was well maintained and comfortable. Anytime something was needed within the house either a tech, or even Bri and Katie would give us a ride to a nearby store. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a PHP. Thank you Harmony! Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m still sober. 4 months and 2 weeks. But I was amazed how a therapist and case manager took us to get food for housing when needed. I worked in this business. That is not in their job description. Above and beyond.

Harmony was such a blessing to me. The clinical staff, especially one person in particular, Katie, the group facilitater was phenomenal. She was very transparent and relatable. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have completed the program. Thanks to her educating me and continued support, I can proudly say today I have 5 and a half months clean.
