When I found myself entering this treatment center, I had absolutely nothing going for me. A year later, I got my son home, my fiance and I both got clean TOGETHER, we both have full time jobs, 2 cars, a beautiful home and our families back. For this first time in 14 years we are both sober, healthy, happy, and succeeding in life. Without the counselors and all the help here, I woukdnt have made it but love my life today more then anything Andi owe thisplace so much for that. I've been to multiple places for treatment and this place is BY FAR the best I've been to in 10 years. The appointment process does take a bit longer than most places but you can tell the people who work here genuinely care about you. They listen AND accommodate to your wants and needs. Great Clinic. I started at the New Castle Location when it was The Discovery House and then transferred to the Cranberry location when I moved, and then ended here at the Farrell location when I moved again back to Ohio. They accepted Ohio medicaid and I really didn't want to change clinics, so I stayed with Discovery House/Comprehensive Treatment Center. Each location was fantastic. By far my favorite clinics. Counselors and staff were 100% amazing and super caring, considerate and most importantly understanding and non judgemental. I really recommend this place.

This rehab was ok. What I liked most about it was they definitely taught me how I can have fun sober. We went for walks, bowling, church, fishing, got to see pigs, and meetings AA and NA, pottery, and the gym it was by far the best rehab I’ve ever been to!!! The staff really cares about your recovery. I am now 1month sober and counting! I feel awesome!!! Shoutout to my counselor Cami she was the absolute best!!! I would recommend this place for anyone trying to get sober. There are only 28 beds which is great! Cause then everyone has time to truly stay focused on their recovery and why they’re there. I was there at the end of 2017, and I've been clean and sober ever since. This place is great. They really care and respect their patients. They're great at taking you off-grounds for different things such as church, NA/AA meetings, walks if it's nice out, etc. The food is great, and there's always snacks to eat in between meals. My room felt more like a college dorm room than a room at a rehab, complete with its own private bathroom and shower. Definitely have all the good things to say about this place and am forever thankful for what they did for me.

No complaints so far. They aren't pushy, but they are strict, so far. I don't want treated like an addict. This isn't a Lifetime movie mellow drama, movie of the month, lol. I don't want hard talking, strict counselors telling you what you need to do while everyone's cheering you on. They're only rude, cold, hard because of what they've done in their past, and, "know the ropes", and, "hard knocks of life", BS. They seem genuine so far. I'll update later.

The social workers, nurses, and doctors gave my child compassionate care. I was kept in the loop with how treatment was going and what steps I needed to take to ensure my child’s progress continues to improve. My son wasn’t there for aggression. Just there for depression, so the kids that acted out all day had a bit more attention. Plus there were only 4 kids total and he stayed Thursday-Monday so we didn’t get the full week long experience. I think it would be 5 stars if I was able to prove that they partner the boys up accordingly. But since there were only 4 boys it was hard to do that. I think with the low census, not much was offered for stimulation.
However, the staff there… they were all truly amazing and sweet. They listened and actually addressed any correspondence that my son or I had.
My son said the worst part was not having access to drinks. Apparently they don’t have access to even water when ever they want it. Just during meals and meds.
He had his own room, again, due to low census. So there were good and bad that came of not having many boys. I do see that program/hospital being and becoming something positive for our kids.
Mamas and dads out there: I am a dual degreed person. Psych and Nurse, and I had to finally use another resource to help my child’s depression. Accept the help. Use the community and resources such as Belmont pines! There is NOTHING wrong with it! Our own kids know our own personal triggers or soft spots. They know how to use, lie, and manipulate us, the same way we did with our parents. So I don’t care if you have all of the degrees or personal experience in the world, when it comes to your own biological child, it’s different. Let others step in. (Also once you get past day 2-3 of the hourly phone calls home crying and begging to come home, it does get MUCH easier, for them and for us as parents)

Hello my name is Mark and I'm an alcoholic I have been for 40 years now not that I am proud of that. I had another DUI conviction and decided I needed help for my problem. I went to ccdaec before I had to by court it was the best thing I could have done for myself but ultimately went to jail and I saw a councilor while I was incarcerated which helped. I made the first four steps but then was released and I started my court ordered counciling which included groups and individual counciling. If you knew me you would know I'm not good with change or new people. I've never felt more comfortable with the counselor s I was assigned to. They brought out all of the things I have never talked about before. They made me so comfortable and supported me like I have never known before. I would like to take this time to say thank you for all that you have done for me but unfortunately without you in my life I have relapsed once again but thank you for trying it was a good run when you all were in my life. I'm not proud of what I have done but thank all of you for doing what you do. I love you all and once again thank you.

The ladies that answer the phone are always kind and listen, I have called a lot in the last couple of months to leave a message for the doctor or what not and they are always kind about it. I have had to cancel and reschedule and haven't had any issues. The doctor always listens to what I have to say and helps advocate for my child.

Dr mike maggio does a good job with both my son's and their medications. I highly recomend him. He takes his time and asks lots of questions and trys to help my son with out putting him on a lot of meds. My son has asd with sensory disturbance and hightend hearing so its very hard for him to navagate his daily life. There was a issue with one of the meds causing aggressions and from the start dr mike knew what to change and it worked wonders. He checked on my son 3xs a week when we first changed his meds and one time he was busy on a Fri and didnt get a chance to call and took time out of his weekend to check up on us. He stays in contact with the counsler and they work very well together for both my son's.

I graduated the year program and it has been nothing short of a miracle. This program absolutely works if you apply yourself and work hard. I learned a vast amount about myself and about my own addiction. Furthermore the program furthered my relationship with Jesus christ, and now im proud too say im a believer in Jesus. This program is wonderfull because they not only have the spiritual side, they also have the clinical side in hope counseling. Lastly the staff here is caring and wonderfull.

My counselor Terri and nurse practitioner Brenda have been very kind, helpful and professional to me since I've been going there. The receptionists have been great too. Everyone there has been a joy to see and talk to. Would definitely recommend.

From the secretary to the first appointment with my counselor, these people are very caring and compassionate mental health workers. My counselor even went over a bit on my time since she had the time and it was a lot the first session to get through. I felt understood and listened to and could visualize for the fire time in a while a positive outlook and a plan. The staff DIDN'T treat me like I was trash. They DIDN'T push meds on me, and let me stop when I was ready to stop. They even helped me at the beginning of this process when I DIDN'T have coverage.
