All treatment centers have their flaws but this place actually cares about its clients. The detox process was easy. They had tv’s in your room which is unheard of for detox. I started at the New Castle Location when it was The Discovery House and then transferred to the Cranberry location when I moved, and then ended here at the Farrell location when I moved again back to Ohio. They accepted Ohio medicaid and I really didn't want to change clinics, so I stayed with Discovery House/Comprehensive Treatment Center. Each location was fantastic. By far my favorite clinics. Counselors and staff were 100% amazing and super caring, considerate and most importantly understanding and non judgemental. I really recommend this place. All of the staff I encountered was very nice , they did communicate about treatment and changing medication. The parts of the facility I saw were clean and well maintained. This short stay gently helped him, and I am very thankful for that . The only complaint my son had was their soap wasn't the best lol . I had another DUI conviction and decided I needed help for my problem. I went to ccdaec before I had to by court it was the best thing I could have done for myself but ultimately went to jail and I saw a councilor while I was incarcerated which helped. I made the first four steps but then was released and I started my court ordered counciling which included groups and individual counciling. If you knew me you would know I'm not good with change or new people. I've never felt more comfortable with the counselor s I was assigned to. They brought out all of the things I have never talked about before. They made me so comfortable and supported me like I have never known before. I would like to take this time to say thank you for all that you have done for me but unfortunately without you in my life I have relapsed once again but thank you for trying it was a good run when you all were in my life. This provider is one of the best around, and I feel they really do care about the patients. There psychiatrist and therapist front my experience are excellent. I have had to cancel and reschedule and haven't had any issues. The doctor always listens to what I have to say and helps advocate for my child. He takes his time and asks lots of questions and trys to help my son with out putting him on a lot of meds. My son has asd with sensory disturbance and hightend hearing so its very hard for him to navagate his daily life. There was a issue with one of the meds causing aggressions and from the start dr mike knew what to change and it worked wonders. He checked on my son 3xs a week when we first changed his meds and one time he was busy on a Fri and didnt get a chance to call and took time out of his weekend to check up on us. My counselor even went over a bit on my time since she had the time and it was a lot the first session to get through. I'm am a really shy person when it comes to people I don't know. I also have a psychiatrist named Fabian, and compared to the psychiatrists I had before he is really good. He actually listens to me and is very understanding. He doesn't give me just any medicine. He takes his job seriously and I love that because I had doctor that didn't care about his job and prescribed me the wrong meds and refused to change it once I told him I don't feel like myself taking these medications.
