This place is special. It saved my life and set me on the road for a long and fulfilling future.

​Prosperity Haven (Now Wellbrook Recovery) saved the life of one of my loved ones and I (as well as my family) will forever be grateful for it!!! We were able to visit every week and the staff and other men staying at the house were always so kind and welcoming to us. The house and property are so nice and well taken care of. The counseling and therapy as well as the friendships that my family member was able to find through this program was so unique and special, I truly believe it saved his life and allowed him to live a life he's really never been able to live before. He is now an alumni and still continues to participate in AA meetings and alumni events. Every week he is excited to reconnect with the men he met at the house and at alumni events since then. His experience at Prosperity Haven has allowed him to fully understand his substance abuse behaviors and how to find the right tools to handle his urges and temptations. It has saved his marriage and relationships with friends and family. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who is seeking a place that focuses on both mental health and addiction in a supportive, welcoming environment!!

I was a patient at First Step back in 2015, most of the staff were amazing people that helped me a lot at the beginning of my recovery journey. My assigned counselor was great and my sessions with her were very helpful. I have been clean and sober a little over 3 years now, and it all started when I walked through the doors at First Step Recovery.

Councilors are great, people tend to talk a lot about other people and families. This is the thing I dislike. I find the people around me need more maturity.

Came through here nearly 3 years ago and am happy to say I am still clean. Place is amazing if you are willing to take some suggestions and not stay in old patterns. Ton of dudes I went through stayed sober a year or more. The ones who complained and threw themselves a pity party while blaming the world for their problems, instead of being accountable for themselves; relapsed. This place gives you every opportunity to succeed, you just have to be to willing.

Thanks to New Day I can probably say that in a month I will have 2 years of sobriety. God Bless. My dream is to come back there and work alongside those caring authentic people.

When I got there they attended me quickly, they gave me a room, and make sure to run the necessary tests to determined the proper way to help me. They all were friendly and understanding about how I was feeling and did their best to help me.

While having a possibly serious medical emergency, I was treated with kindness and respect my entire stay. EVERY member of their staff I have come into contact with has been exceptional. They put up with my irrational urge to flee and put my mind at ease.

When I found myself entering this treatment center, I had absolutely nothing going for me. A year later, I got my son home, my fiance and I both got clean TOGETHER, we both have full time jobs, 2 cars, a beautiful home and our families back. For this first time in 14 years we are both sober, healthy, happy, and succeeding in life. Without the counselors and all the help here, I woukdnt have made it but love my life today more then anything Andi owe thisplace so much for that. I'd recommend to anyone looking to change their lives.

I was a resident there in the late 80s I remember the staff there I remember a lot of the staff members. They were very supportive got me through a lot of hard times I didn’t have the greatest upbringing, but the first time I fell in love With a boy, he was a resident there as well. I don’t have a whole Lotta great memories in my life, but I remember being there and I remember having somebody that I could talk to whether it was a staff member or staff member in the unit. The counselors used to sing a song and play guitar and it was such an amazing song and this day I remember that song, I remember going on activities and playing baseball and finally for the first time in my life having somebody that actually listen to me I would actually love to be able to get a hold of an employee there. His name is Glenn. He was on the boys unit last I heard he was working in the school Wrote a story about the boy I remember in my life during time I really needed them so thank you To the staff that was there during the time I was there

Had my first appt here yesterday. Very pleased with the VA. Way better than regular health providers in the area. Friendly staff. Efficient processing.

Sharanda, nurse who took vitals for my brother who had a PCP appointment, when this veteran (sister of the patient) asked, took my weight and recorded it on my records for my PCP who is located at the Wade Park VA location………she Came Out to the parking lot to Find me to get my information: name and last 4 to record it. She went Above and Beyond!

I've always received excellent care here. My primary care physician is warm and attentive. She listens to all my concerns, and never hesitates to refer me to other clinics, labs, and specialists within the system whenever I need it. The front desk and lab are always helpful as well.
