I can’t say enough wonderful things about PsyCare Struthers and the incredible team that has supported me. From the moment I walked in, I felt truly heard, respected, and cared for.
Counselor Allison Brutka is absolutely amazing. Her compassion, insight, and ability to create a safe, comfortable space have made a tremendous difference in my life. She listens without judgment, offers thoughtful guidance, and genuinely cares about her clients’ well-being. Working with her has been life-changing.
Psychiatrist Katie Spickler is equally outstanding. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, considers my concerns, and works collaboratively to find the right treatment plan. Her professionalism and calm, reassuring presence make appointments something I actually look forward to.
Nurse Jennifer Pugh is warm, attentive, and incredibly supportive. She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure every visit runs smoothly and that all my questions are answered. Her kindness never goes unnoticed.
The entire staff at PsyCare Struthers is exceptional, but this team in particular has made a profound, positive impact on my mental health journey. I’m truly grateful for their dedication, compassion, and expertise. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking high-quality mental health care.

My son wasn’t there for aggression. Just there for depression, so the kids that acted out all day had a bit more attention. Plus there were only 4 kids total and he stayed Thursday-Monday so we didn’t get the full week long experience. I think it would be 5 stars if I was able to prove that they partner the boys up accordingly. But since there were only 4 boys it was hard to do that. I think with the low census, not much was offered for stimulation.
However, the staff there… they were all truly amazing and sweet. They listened and actually addressed any correspondence that my son or I had.
My son said the worst part was not having access to drinks. Apparently they don’t have access to even water when ever they want it. Just during meals and meds.
He had his own room, again, due to low census. So there were good and bad that came of not having many boys. I do see that program/hospital being and becoming something positive for our kids.
Mamas and dads out there: I am a dual degreed person. Psych and Nurse, and I had to finally use another resource to help my child’s depression. Accept the help. Use the community and resources such as Belmont pines! There is NOTHING wrong with it! Our own kids know our own personal triggers or soft spots. They know how to use, lie, and manipulate us, the same way we did with our parents. So I don’t care if you have all of the degrees or personal experience in the world, when it comes to your own biological child, it’s different. Let others step in. (Also once you get past day 2-3 of the hourly phone calls home crying and begging to come home, it does get MUCH easier, for them and for us as parents)
Thanks to the staff’ especially Nurse Jenn that picked up the phone every time I called and never got frustrated, just got to work on it, you’re amazing

I came to highland house not knowing what to expect, because it was a new area that I have never been to. This place has slot of things to offer but most importantly they give you multiple opportunity at different resources and my advice to anyone who may decide to go to this place is take advantage of every resource that you can it really is a stepping stone to changing your life around if I ever need to go back to a half way house I would most certainly choose highland house again the staff is amazing and went out of their way to accommodate any needs we may needed if they were able to. I've been coming to Coleman since I was 26, they have seen me at my very best and at my very lowest. The people who complain on your reviews clearly are blind because Coleman will treat you the way you treat them. The receptionist are always friendly and kind they are always smiling when you walk in, and they are patient. The staff are very nice. Sometimes they are rushed and don't seem pleasant. That isn't the case. I owe my life to Coleman because they saved my life on more than one occasion. I wouldn't be sober, happier and on the right medicine I am now without the help from Coleman. I have the best caseworker out there who busts her butt to make sure I am okay and we get stuff done on time while having 30 other people on her caseload. The times I've gone to their Ravenna psych ward and took me in when I didn't deserve it, let me practically live in their office because I was homeless and let me use their room with the shower attached, I can't begin to express how deep my love and gratitude is for this place. I absolutely love my psychiatrist and how hands on she is, she listens to what I say and suggest, doesn't treat me like I'm some med dispensary and pays attention to when I'm down or happier too. Pennsylvania is ranked 26th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,708.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Pennsylvania vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Pennsylvania. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance.
