The people are caring and compassionate . That is so important in an inpatient facility especially when recovery is new to you. I would send family there if they needed help.
I've been clean and doing great for years now! The staff there has always been kind and helpful. My counselor Mike is awesome! Everyone there is great!

My father’s building had exploded, and I was worried sick about him. He needs his medication daily, and I was desperate to find a way to help. The owner here is an amazing individual who stepped in to help my father in a time of great need. My father has nothing but good things to say about this place, and I’m so happy he’s able to take care of his health along side caring doctors, nurses, and therapists. ❤️

They are helping me more than most of the places I have been. Good to finally make progress. Only issue I am having is they never answer the phones. Always have to leave a message and they rarely call back.

This place has always had my back at every level of care they have. 960, 920, Rogers, Niles, Newton Falls. Ever since I was a 19 year old kid struggling with addiction. The amenities of course make it a great place but not as much as the staff and hospitality. I will always recommend New Day. There isn’t enough good things I can say about them. I was so scared to go into just ANOTHER detox to come out and go back to my same ways. New Day wasn't just another detox/rehab facility. They gave me the tools and resources I needed to be successful in recovery. I sit here today with almost 3 years clean. If it wasn't for New Day, I don't know where I would be. When I found myself entering this treatment center, I had absolutely nothing going for me. A year later, I got my son home, my fiance and I both got clean TOGETHER, we both have full time jobs, 2 cars, a beautiful home and our families back. For this first time in 14 years we are both sober, healthy, happy, and succeeding in life. Without the counselors and all the help here, I woukdnt have made it but love my life today more then anything Andi owe thisplace so much for that. I'd recommend to anyone looking to change their lives.
Had my first appt here yesterday. Very pleased with the VA. Way better than regular health providers in the area.

Sharanda, nurse who took vitals for my brother who had a PCP appointment, when this veteran (sister of the patient) asked, took my weight and recorded it on my records for my PCP who is located at the Wade Park VA location………she Came Out to the parking lot to Find me to get my information: name and last 4 to record it.

I've always received excellent care here. My primary care physician is warm and attentive. She listens to all my concerns, and never hesitates to refer me to other clinics, labs, and specialists within the system whenever I need it. The front desk and lab are always helpful as well.

I've been to multiple places for treatment and this place is BY FAR the best I've been to in 10 years. The appointment process does take a bit longer than most places but you can tell the people who work here genuinely care about you. They listen AND accommodate to your wants and needs. I'd definitely recommend Brightview to any one who is struggling and want help.

Been going here 15+ years. Well actually in cranberry 1st, then here at NC. In all that time, I've come to realize this: they don't need us. We need them. They have ALL the leverage, we have none. That being said, I would suggest getting down on your knees and thanking God that you have the option here in NC of Discovery House. Would u rather go back to criming, sick every other day.. Ugh. Not me. If u follow the rules, such as showing up during dosing hours,etc u will have no issues.
I'm always treated with the most respect and dignity at Meridian health care. From therapy to Medicaid assisted treatment, Meridian has helped me to regain my life in so many ways.
5... im still sober and Rob is literally amazing. He deserves a raise. Thank you all so much for everything.

Great Clinic. I started at the New Castle Location when it was The Discovery House and then transferred to the Cranberry location when I moved, and then ended here at the Farrell location when I moved again back to Ohio. They accepted Ohio medicaid and I really didn't want to change clinics, so I stayed with Discovery House/Comprehensive Treatment Center. Each location was fantastic. By far my favorite clinics. Counselors and staff were 100% amazing and super caring, considerate and most importantly understanding and non judgemental. I really recommend this place.

Went there as a youth 15 years old 1970-72 after being a gang member and getting into much trouble and not enough schooling, first time away from home and stayed close to 2 years at Sharam Hall, almost seems like forever but l survived, no bad memories, just no girls smh, surprised they still in existence

I can’t say enough wonderful things about PsyCare Struthers and the incredible team that has supported me. From the moment I walked in, I felt truly heard, respected, and cared for.
Counselor Allison Brutka is absolutely amazing. Her compassion, insight, and ability to create a safe, comfortable space have made a tremendous difference in my life. She listens without judgment, offers thoughtful guidance, and genuinely cares about her clients’ well-being. Working with her has been life-changing.
Psychiatrist Katie Spickler is equally outstanding. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, considers my concerns, and works collaboratively to find the right treatment plan. Her professionalism and calm, reassuring presence make appointments something I actually look forward to.
Nurse Jennifer Pugh is warm, attentive, and incredibly supportive. She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure every visit runs smoothly and that all my questions are answered. Her kindness never goes unnoticed.

The absolute best place, the best staff and extremely accommodating!
The social workers, nurses, and doctors gave my child compassionate care. I was kept in the loop with how treatment was going and what steps I needed to take to ensure my child’s progress continues to improve. I visited my child every night and they expressed how great the experience was, including the help they were receiving. My child is back home now and I am so thankful for this place.

My son wasn’t there for aggression. Just there for depression, so the kids that acted out all day had a bit more attention. Plus there were only 4 kids total and he stayed Thursday-Monday so we didn’t get the full week long experience. I think it would be 5 stars if I was able to prove that they partner the boys up accordingly. But since there were only 4 boys it was hard to do that. I think with the low census, not much was offered for stimulation.
However, the staff there… they were all truly amazing and sweet. They listened and actually addressed any correspondence that my son or I had.
My son said the worst part was not having access to drinks. Apparently they don’t have access to even water when ever they want it. Just during meals and meds.
He had his own room, again, due to low census. So there were good and bad that came of not having many boys. I do see that program/hospital being and becoming something positive for our kids.
Mamas and dads out there: I am a dual degreed person. Psych and Nurse, and I had to finally use another resource to help my child’s depression. Accept the help. Use the community and resources such as Belmont pines! There is NOTHING wrong with it! Our own kids know our own personal triggers or soft spots. They know how to use, lie, and manipulate us, the same way we did with our parents. So I don’t care if you have all of the degrees or personal experience in the world, when it comes to your own biological child, it’s different. Let others step in. (Also once you get past day 2-3 of the hourly phone calls home crying and begging to come home, it does get MUCH easier, for them and for us as parents)

Dr. Mathur doesn’t rush the visits like other Dr.’s. They genuinely care about the patient. Karen is great, she’s the glue. They are a fantastic pair. Professional, kind, knowledgeable, understanding and they both truly care about their patients.

Been coming here for a little over a year now and I am amazed at how well I am cared for by the staff.
Mr Bailey takes the time to listen to me and the time to explain to me what I need to do to better manage my health.
The nurses are very attentive and knowledgeable also and they to take the time to ask questions about what I am feeling.
Everyone is very respectful of the fact they are treating Veterans.
Great all around experience! Staff are amazing and really do care.

The ladies that answer the phone are always kind and listen, I have called a lot in the last couple of months to leave a message for the doctor or what not and they are always kind about it. I have had to cancel and reschedule and haven't had any issues. The doctor always listens to what I have to say and helps advocate for my child.

Dr mike maggio does a good job with both my son's and their medications. I highly recomend him. He takes his time and asks lots of questions and trys to help my son with out putting him on a lot of meds. My son has asd with sensory disturbance and hightend hearing so its very hard for him to navagate his daily life. There was a issue with one of the meds causing aggressions and from the start dr mike knew what to change and it worked wonders. He checked on my son 3xs a week when we first changed his meds and one time he was busy on a Fri and didnt get a chance to call and took time out of his weekend to check up on us. He stays in contact with the counsler and they work very well together for both my son's.
