I can't recommend these people enough! Betzy at the front desk is very friendly and helpful same with my Doctor Sean and My Therapist Priscilla. Came in looking for help for my ADHD, got diagnosed went through the process and Now I'm being treated and Wow, I'm just impressed with how smooth and friendly the process has been and their willingness to work with my work schedule which consists of 12hrs swinging from days to nights every week. My life is starting to take a turn for the better and I'm excited and hopeful for what's to come!! My only complaint which honestly doesn't outweigh everything enough for a lower rating was that I had an Interaction with a Nurse I believe her name was Gina , one time that I tried to call my Doctor to try and give him an update on my medication which was not working at the time. This lady had the Audacity to tell me "If you truly had ADHD you should be feeling some sort of effect", as if I'm trying to lie about my medication for whatever reason. When I'm the one struggling, close to lose my Job due to my heavy inability to focus, and struggling with my life at home...Few weeks go by and talk to my Doctor we agreed in upping the dosage, and If she ever sees this(and I hope she does), Guess what lady, it worked, I was not lying, so your disrespectful comment was completely unnecessary. And honestly if that is how you normally treat patients who are struggling you have no business being in this clinic or any others.

This is one of the best VA facilities I have been too! NP Melvin and her staff are GREAT, the Ultra Sound tech is so nice and she does a GREAT JOB and for GI I see NP Dolney and she is also GREAT! These are the professionals I see and am very happy with them. I goto Canton VA for other treatments (MH/PT), but the Akron VA and the services/professionals I see are great. They treat you like a person, listen to your concerns/issues and treat accordingly. I m not always pleasant to deal with but they always treat you with respect!

I have been going here for 8years and never had an issue and if I ever did the staff where there to help me. Comquest saved my life and I would recommend it to anyone! When getting help there are certian things you have to do and sometimes they are not comfortable for you. With medications i have never had one issue, the doctors are NOT quick to get you off, they always have told me whenever your comfortable, I told them I will be on this for life, they told me no problem. Thank god for this program cause it gave me, my life back and I am able to enjoy my son and wife and have a family and build back what addiction took from me and conquest and its staff where the people there for me.

The Ravenna VA Outpatient Clinic is a GREAT place to be a member of. I have never had to wait for a visit for more than 30 minutes. The Doctors are the best at this clinic. Dr B and Dr F are the best! I had Dr. B as my family physician at University Hospital in Ravenna for 3 years before he joined the VA staff which is next door to the VA clinic. He is an extremely intelligent Doctor and goes out of his way to be professional and dig into what might be causing any discomfort for you.I had an emergency problem, called the clinic and was assigned to Dr. F. in 2 hours who I never had contact with before the call. It turns out that he was also a carbon copy of Dr. B. Great listener and got right to a diagnosis of my problem and set me up with a quick procedure at the Hospital.The staff is also the best. Townhall 2 has been very helpful. During my classes they would always have child care available! At first I was very unsure. Today my child loves going to her "class" while mommy is in hers. Great clinic. Busy, yet you aren't treated like a number. After weeks of trying to get in somewhere, I got an appointment here. I live 40 minutes away, so when I found out it was a dosing clinic, I was upset, because at the time, I didn't have a vehicle and wasnt sure how I'd make it work. I was looking for a doctor to give me a script. However, the clinic setting was exactly what I needed. The accountability drove me to succeed. I didn't want to let my care team down. Without that daily dosing, weekly counseling, frequent uds testing, intro to mat groups, and guidelines for take homes, I don't know that I would have been successful. It's been a decade since I started here, and after all these years, this clinic is still my safe place. Nurses, physicians and counselors have come and gone, but the mission and care received never change. If you are respectful and honest, you will be heard. They understand relapse is a part of recovery for some, and they won't turn their backs on you because of it. My counselors, nurses, NP and doctors are judge free, encouraging, empathetic, and they listen. They don't rush you to get to the next patient. Same goes for the rest of the staff, such as those in reception, intake, and financial. I've had false positives that were quickly confirmed negative. I've received psychiatric care. Staff members have advocated for me through tough times. I'm grateful to the clinic for where I am today. If you need support and accountability, this is a great place to check out. Follow their rules and you'll go far!
