Thank you New Mexico wellness! New Mexico wellness is a great place to get treatment. You are able to discuss the issues that cause you to drink. You get more than lessons on breathing, mindfulness and emotional regulation. You get true care and support. I was discharged early due to my dishonest behavior. However I have been out for 5 days now and have not had a drink. Every other rehab I've been to I either had a drink the same day or the day after I left. I have true hope for my future. They have medically assisted treatment for both alcohol and narcotics. I highly recommend New Mexico wellness. They're not perfect but neither is anybody or any place. I got what I needed to stay sober for the rest of my life I truly do thank New Mexico wellness and all the staff.

This place treats clients like people, not patients, and it really shows. Apart from having a complete male, female, and adolescent section of their facility for each demographic, they also offer meals, snacks and appreciation dinners for their clients. This is a fantastic place with good intention behind everything. The yoga program is especially impressive, and several of the graduates have committed to yoga long term thanks to the skilled instructors there

This VA facility is phenomenal. The only concern is parking due to the incredible number of veterans using it. Each time I have gone there, I had to park a quarter mile away from the entrance. They really need a shuttle service for veterans who don't have someone who can drop them off at the door. All of the people working there go to great lengths to service and care for veterans, and the healthcare staff is beyond approach.

New Season's is the best MAT program in Albuquerque, hands down. I've been to a couple, but NS treats me like a human instead of a way to make money or just another face. Nick is amazing and helped me through some tough times while traveling for my job while getting treatment. 10/10! The rest of the staff is also just as amazing. I am using this program to help get off of a pain medication for a chronic health condition. I’m new to both The Evolution Group and in-person therapy in general, but so far the experience has been… lovely. The space is like a protective compound of renovated homes with a central peaceful garden and multiple therapy spaces. It feels safe, comfortable, and thoughtful. The staff have made the process simple… like checking into a spa. My therapist, Crystal, is patient, warm, personable, and genuinely listens. I’ve only had 2 sessions, but all of the worry and anxiety of being in a new environment and situation melted away during the first session. We haven’t started the work of therapy just yet, but I’m optimistic about the journey given the amazing start. Update: Seven months later and I'm still very much impressed. Crystal is a wonderful therapist and a beautiful soul. I'll be honest, the first 4 months felt like a rinse and spin cycle. That's just my experience of the process, but the team there made it easy to be a patient. Something strange... that place feels familiar and safe, like going home (in a good way). I continue to refer coworkers here.

I left a pretty bad review about 5 years ago. I decided to stay at Duke City and have had a few bad problems since. Really bad staff like them messing up my insurance payments and trying to blame me. But...... This place is a big part of the reason I'm going to be sober for 10 years in August. It's the reason I have take homes and live a normally relative life. The reason I can hold good jobs. The reason I'm not dead in a gutter. So with that being said, things change. I've seen a LOT of change over the years. About 5 years ago a very overzealous counselor finally left, she was a good counselor but far too influential with management and defensive of really stupid policies like the early open access. Like I said things have changed a lot. Groups are optional now. You can do counseling over the phone. Good stuff. Just.. stay on top of any payment plan you have. And I strongly recommend not using private insurance because billing seems to work with medicaid 99% of the time and any time I've tried to use Cobra insurance or private insurance they have screwed it up and I end up on a payment plan. I still never got reimbursed by the way. They must owe me two or three checks over the years but what ever. My top concern is that I get my treatment. And I do. My counselor calls me. I get my medicine. Things are okay. So i changed my review from a one to a four after 5 years. I think that is fair. I do wish however that they use a nurse to do the observed UAs. Nothing against the security guards but it feels like I'm in a parole office rather than a treatment center. I'm here voluntarily. I also don't appreciate it when I have legitimate trouble peeing and the workers immidiately go straight for the stick and say "oh well we can just mark you as a dirty" If you actually look at my record I haven't had a dirty since I started treatment nearly a decade ago. Why would I want a dirty now? I just need to drink some water you fool... Other than that, things are good. The clinic is in a good space. Best in years. I strongly recommend management take the win and try not to dramatically change things because this is their peak. Best they have been in years. Keep it up. Please. I can't go back go pre pandemic Duke city. I just cant. That was brutal.

I stayed here back in the beginning of 2018 till almost the ending of it I know it might have drastically changed here but when I was here most of the staff was helpful and really nice, gave you respect if you respected them. Definitely not a way to get help unless your 16 and can go to the youth services nextdoor for even more support as long as I have remembered since the shelter can be holding kids that barely got out of a detention center.

I have been coming here for 6 years. I have watched the level of care at this facility go up and down. I don't need to be reminded about my weight, I luve with it everyday. I was told to bring any new medications and new diagnosis from other providers. No one even bothered to look at them. Typical VA goin through the motions. Dr. Vallejo’s left the main hospital to the clinic in Rio Rancho clinic. She was my primary care at the main hospital. I saw her about a week before she left and at the time she didn’t say she was leaving and didn’t leave me with any guidance on who I should see or contact. I have been at the hospital since 2019 and had five different primary care doctors. During the transition I had some minor medical issues that I needed resolved that were taking four or five hours to resolve. I later found I was being gaslighted but Dr. Vallejo’s the entire time I was seeing her. Medical gaslighting for female veterans is real with Dr. Vallejo.

The counselor here AJ is an amazing counselor. I have grown so much from our 1 on 1 sessions, but the group counselor Tony is petty and antagonistic. He talks over people, seems to be on drugs himself, constantly brags, and called threatening to have me arrested because "my threatening violent behavior." I am court ordered to go here. Instead of de escalating the situation, which is what I'm doing he repeatedly attempted to push buttons, and when he couldn't get a ride out of me kicked me out of the program. I have had no issues since being released from prison, and I'm not a threat to anybody. I was agitated and don't feel safe sharing in that group why and when he pushed an issue it solidified my instincts to not share with them what's going on with me. Tony constantly says he is in demand because of his qualifications, and the company cannot afford to lose him. Now I'm having to go elsewhere to get court ordered counseling when I'm 9 sessions away from completion because of his ego. Don't trust this guy with personal information he will use it against you, and try to screw you over. He called me on his personal phone and said "if you ever show your face here again I'm going to have you arrested for trespassing and assault on a health care worker."
