I had a great experience at the Forester Center as Tarji Littlejohn is not only a fantastic therapist, but she’s also a very considerate friend. She made sure that I had the right resources and she was always available when I needed. Her group was great but the individual therapy that I had with her was even more meaningful and really helped me open my eyes to the problems that I have and that I’ve continued to get over. I have the most respect for her and how she helped me along with countless other individuals.

I can't really give a rating, since I haven't used their services. I was there to photograph the property for a client who was involved with building the project. But during my experience, the staff I met were very nice. The property is clean and well maintained. And it has a lot of cool amenities and beautiful landscaping.

The time I spent at BBnB was life-changing! Latanya taught me a new way of life which I am still living today, eight years later. I needed to learn how to live a structured, disciplined life in society after incarceration and BBnB helped me obtain those skills. BBnB was a stepping stone in the journey of God’s plan for my life and I am forever grateful for the program and the staff!

I have been to this office many times over the years, they have always been professional. I have no bad reports. They are usually really overwhelmed with patients and so you have to stay on top of your appointments or you will fall behind as it will take them a while to get you back in the scheduled, that is the only problem I have ever ran into with them. I would say they probably need more employees to cover the demand. The thing is they are a state funded organization so good luck with that.

Registered Nurse Emily in the ICU is perhaps the most caring nurse I have ever come across in my life! My 99 year old grandmother recently passed away, and her journey was made so much better by the care and attention she received. Emily also took the time to explain to all of my grandmama’s loved ones exactly what was happening and what to expect and provided key insights to make sure we were making the best possible decisions to keep her comfortable and at peace. Thank you Emily, and the other doctors, nurses, and staff that helped us through this time.

This is the first and last detox/recovery center I will have ever attended and i will admit that i was a bit uncomfortable and timid because i had no idea what to expect. I was greeted immediately after exiting my car and brought on a brief tour and then brought to my room where i stayed a bit out of a fear of the unknown. i will fast forward to keep this brief but after getting to know the staff as well as the other patients i actually didn't want to leave. In fact i did leave after detox and came back less than 24 hours later to stay in the residential section and because I missed the environment as a whole, especially the commrodory which is so strong that i would imagine it may only be rivaled by the army/military etc. I have gained a priceless amount of knowledge and wisdom and when my final night approached...all i could think about was coming back just to feel like i am surrounded by people whom actually understand me.

Freedom Detox is an amazing, comfortable place, with kind staff, good food, and qualified medical care professionals who are willing to discuss treatment options. As your time in detox wraps up, there are talented after care coordinators like Jennifer who will help you find options for further treatment. In the meanwhile, there are puzzles, arts, crafts, games, footballs, soccer balls, badminton, and other fun activities. Overall, Freedom Detox is a place where recovery is taken seriously in a highly comfortable environment. Highly recommend.

I am so very thankful for everything you do in your program from start to end. It has been a game changer for my son who has battled addiction for a few years. I see the spark back in his eyes and a joy and excitement towards his future you’ve given him the tools to be successful. You’ve given him the tools to cope, but most of all you’ve given him hope towards his future. He’s halfway through the program and has nothing but great things to say thank you so very much. I wish you were in many more locations to assist other people that need help and think there’s no hope in sight not just for the addict but for the families as well God bless you much love, and appreciation.!

I can say with absolute certainty this place and the men who lead here saved my brothers life. We as his family quite literally had lost all faith he would make it off the streets alive. Honestly, almost every time I spoke with my mother I was preparing her ac little at a time for him to end up dead. I had a great experience here but I chipped my veneer eating overcooked chicken tenders. I wrote a grievance and mgmt or legal came to talk to me about it and I am waiting to follow up. I have to get my entire veneer replaced bc the chicken was so hard it chipped my tooth in half! Other than that, I had a lovely time other than the first 24 hours when they had me on the wrong unit (unit 2) which didn’t seem to care how hard I was detoxing off of alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines… I basically rolled around in bed for the first 24 hours, the entire first night I almost went insane with the shakes, cold sweats, sleeplessness, restless legs and other flu like symptoms x100 with no help and I didn’t see a doctor until 1pm the next day! They did eventually get me moved over to the proper unit (unit 8) where they were more attuned to my needs and that made the world of a difference!!! I will forever and always recommend this place to anyone who struggles with mental illness crises or addictions and need to detox!!! Xoxxo

Noticed all the bad reviews have 2 or 3 things in common 1- Felt there should've been (more) reminders to not miss the app. 2- Didn't like their tone. 3- Were tthere 1 or more years ago. Maybe they took these criticisms to heart last year, which is a little before I started visiting, since I get an almost annoying amount of reminders (phone, email, etc) and everyone treats me like family. But I'd like to address these complaints in order: 1- Aren't you a veteran? Have you no shame? When I'm told I'm due anywhere, by anyone, I just need the time/place/uniform from them (uniform= the "why" in the civi world). Sound familiar? I like that they "over-do" it with the reminders now, because missed apps are costly and disruptive, you're inability to manage your schedule and meet your own commitments means less available app slots for me and the rest of us who respected our battle buddies enough to not make them drag us out of the barracks to formation late. You got the last existing phone without a calendar/reminder function?🤨 Grow up, take responsibility, you're embarrassing us. Do push-ups😂 2- People should be nice to each other, but that also means compassion. If you need your health providers to kiss your butt and say my pleasure to every thank you they hear, you're also not being very compassionate. Don't be rude, sure, but as a former healthcare worker experienced in managing Karens, I can tell you the job is hard and underpaid enough to not have any time for extra "retail courtesy", that obviously fake level of servant-like submission to your "masters" (ie customers) some people seem to require as part of their expectation to be "wowed". If their attitude is what cost you (eg they wouldn't talk to you) then yeah, you should speak up, but one review whined that they didn't ask the right questions🤯 Seriously!? OK, so they don't get the CS award, but it's YOUR health! You got something you know you want to tell them, how bout you soldier up and say it then? They're not your boyfriend, and btw, he couldn't read your mind either, so be a (polite) grown up when you remind them they canceled your previous app and it's causing you hardship. They are caring human beings that can (in my experience) be reasoned with, not scrub adorned androids built to massage your delicate ego😉 3- My recent experiences defies older reviews, so I'll give those critical reviews the benefit of doubt and say sorry that happened last year, but my experience these days is different. Sure they can improve, honestly I'd have given them 4stars were it not for the unfair skewing of the average rating that uses old and questionable reviews, but they clearly care, and that's more than I've gotten from lots of fancy looking and expensive private facilities.
