I first came here in 2012 when I had moved here. I knew no one and was suggested trying this doctor phycility. Have always had kind, professional service with most everyone. I have loved my Primary doctors and Pa's, NP's and now my eye doctor I have seen here in the last year. I especially have loved the gynocology department and Dr Rengachary, who is now retired, but they are still very nice, thorough and caring.
I now see Dr Alma Navato as my Primary Care, adult medicine doctor.
I really love having her as my doctor as she is very kind, patient, caring, and thorough and does address all my concerns and health needs with true concern and patience and care.❤️💯

I am a Marine Corps veteran and have had a wife gamut of health care treatment on the civilian side since leaving active duty in 1993. I took my healthcare treatment to the Kansas City VA Medical Center in 2023 because the exposure to particulates in Saudia Arabia, no thanks to Saddam, was taking a firm hold on my body.
The care that I have received at the KCVA is remarkable. I've been treated as an income in other places. Here, I am one who needs care as a whole person. And that is what I have experienced. I have also met other brothers and sisters from other uniformed services and, together, we share stories of our time in service and experiences at that facility.
The personnel care for the veterans they serve. I have spoken to many patients who are more than a little concerned about how things are going with the current climate in the nation. They don't want to lose this facility nor the people who make it work very well. I agree with them and have called my senators and congresswoman. Please help us keep this veterans medical center open and functional.

The VA is truly a special place. Endless money will continue be poured into DOD, but at the end of your tour, when you are discharged back into the civilian world, the VA is a place where true camaraderie and fellowship lives.
I've witnessed elderly Veterans pushing other Veterans into the hospital by wheelchair. I've witnessed friendships bloom and war stories exchanged in the waiting rooms.
More than likely, privatized civilian hospital staff wouldn't truly understand a patient who has struggled with severe PTSD from combat, or a veteran who has Parkinson's or severe neuropathy due to toxic exposures. Did you know, military Veterans are nearly twice as likely to be diagnosed with ALS than non military?
More than likely, in a privatized civilian hospital your just another body in the door. They don't understand the plight of the military Veteran.
The VA is different. A good amount of VA staff are Veterans and they choose to work for the VA to continue the mission. To serve those who have served.
If our Nation's leaders will step up and fund the VA to care for those who signed a blank check (the same way they fund DOD), the VA could easily be the top in the nation. Sure, there are bad apples here and there, but the majority of VA staff feel strongly and passionately about it's patient population.
I've been receiving care at the VA for nearly a decade. As a female Veteran, the VA has come a long way for women's care and if they don't have the provider to accommodate your medical need, the VA will send you out to get the care you need.
I've seen many specialists at the KCVA and have overall received EXCELLENT care.
This will be a challenge if the VA doesn't hire more healthcare workers who are essential to be operational.
Please continue to support the VA and it's mission. Veterans need and deserve this network!

Finding a place that saw all of me meant everything. The staff respected my pronouns, and therapy felt safe and real. Art groups helped me speak without words. The food was just ok, but the care? Deeply human. I wish there were more gender-inclusive spaces like this. It wasn’t perfect but it was healing, and that’s what I needed. I walked out stronger, finally feeling seen.

I can’t say enough about the outstanding service and support I received from Midwest Recovery while finding placement for my son, who was transferring from treatment out of state. Sidney and Sean were both incredibly patient, compassionate, and understanding through every step of the process. This is an Amazing place, with a heart for saving our loved ones from the addiction that is destroying not just them but their families as well. I have been to numerous treatment facilities, including The Welcome House, ACT, Mirrors, Therapeutic Community, Intensive outpatient treatment (at numerous locations) and Midwest Recovery Centers has been the only one that I've actually enjoyed and feel like I left a different person. It may be a bit expensive but the experience was worth every penny. I can't say enough good things about the staff, groups, cleanliness, food and the overall magic power that resides within their walls. Thank you all so much!

The doctor I had seemed to really know what he's doing, as the medication he added not only stabilized my mood pretty well, but it also seems to be helping with my extremely debilitating ME/CFS. This is so unexpected and life altering. Thank you; I finally have hope again.

I’m starting my third week as a client attending group therapy and counseling. So far I’ve seen employees greet me by name recognizing my mannerisms, and increasing efforts to aide my recovery. There are a couple that stand out as exceptional. All of them are happy to help people as a part of their job. Yes, if you are struggling with addiction, I recommend this sliding scale facility. I've been a client here since 2011, and I'm so grateful. It's a life saver, but like all recovery clinics you can only get out of it what you put into it. It's easy to blame others when things go wrong, but it's almost always our fault! I had a very hard time, until I stopped arguing and followed direction! They know about recovery, all I knew was self destruction, but thought I was so smart!

I was in the cardio unit at the hospital. Dr Darden and the team were great. Ashley in the rehab area was amazing. I had bleeding issues and she worked hard to correct it. I had to spend the night because of the bleeding and Nurse Mary, on the floor, did a great job. The only issue with the hospital was my daughter went to the cafeteria and ate a Caesar chicken salad. She got so sick and had to go home. My granddaughter came and took her place.

This program was perfect for our family. Parent participation was crucial for this program to work. This enthusiastic sobriety program worked for us. The staff and councilors know addiction and guided growth for our kiddo and ourselves.

I cannot begin to put into words how life changing this program is. They have taught my teenager how to do the hard work of facing addiction while holding her up emotionally and spiritually. 8 months ago I was mentally preparing for a funeral. Today my girl is 7.5 months sober. She is the happiest I’ve ever seen. Crossroads has not only changed her life, but given her a new purpose. I have zero doubt that without Crossroads, my daughter wouldn’t be here today.

This program changed my life and I've seen it change countless others around me. It surrounded me with a support group of people that struggle with the same issues that I do, as well as counselors that I could relate to and have been through the same struggles. The staff here is awesome! We had several different staff members help us during our visit, I wish I could shout them all out. Everyone was very kind, very informative, and of course there’s a longer wait to be seen — it’s the ER — but they were transparent about wait times and got us in and out quicker than we imagined. I think this is a well fitted experience for any teen going through any sort of struggle/trauma.
The thing is, you might not enjoy everything entirely as much as some people might but you will likely benefit from everything you do there, Whether it comes from the things you learn or the people you meet. I believe this whole place has well-balanced intentions. yes, some staff may have their differences, we are all human, but everything they do is entirely surrounding the intention of your benefit.
So yes, I highly recommend Synergy. If needed, not be afraid of these new opportunities that rarely come twice.
This place has good guidance , good balance , good intentions , and a good foundation, especially whenever it comes to lifestyle experiences.

They made my teen feel welcome and safe. Love the after school activities.
They helped my family during a dark time. They have different events that help with Christmas gifts and back to school supplies. They never made me feel less than because I couldn't provide for my family. Love the energy here!

I’m starting my third week as a client attending group therapy and counseling. So far I’ve seen employees greet me by name recognizing my mannerisms, and increasing efforts to aide my recovery. There are a couple that stand out as exceptional. All of them are happy to help people as a part of their job. Yes, if you are struggling with addiction, I recommend this sliding scale facility. They will make it their way to help you. I strongly suggest you commit to it.
