I absolutely love my experience with valley mental health, they were always so reliable and so patient and understanding. Anytime anyone around me mentions therapy I recommend this place. Nicole and Shelly both always go above and beyond and there’s never been a time where I’ve felt like they haven’t actually cared. I feel like I wouldn’t have graduated highschool if it weren’t for them motivating me and pushing me. 10/10

I have been involved with Valley Behavioral health for a little over 2 years now. When I started treatment for drug addiction I was lost and all over the place as far as mental health and my day to day life in general. Thanks to the staff and a couple therapists, as well as my fellow peers that suffer with the disease of addiction. Without the combination of everyone and their advice and vulnerability, this place truly saved my life.

I came to Deer Hollow carrying years of unresolved trauma and symptoms that had taken over my life. I had tried therapy before, but nothing reached the root of what I was dealing with until I walked through their doors. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe, grounded, and understood in a way I hadn’t experienced anywhere else.
Residential treatment was intense, structured, and emotionally heavy at times — but it was also exactly what I needed. The trauma-focused work, especially IFS, helped me understand why I reacted the way I did, where my patterns came from, and how to work with the parts of myself that had been stuck for so long. The therapists were incredibly skilled, patient, and compassionate. They didn’t just teach me tools; they helped me truly heal.
Moving through the step-down levels of care gave me time and support to practice what I was learning while still having a clinical team behind me. Each phase built on the one before it, and for the first time, I felt real change happening — not temporary relief, but deep, foundational healing.

When you are serious about recovery come to Deer Hollow. It will not be easy, but it will be worth it. I am a Paramedic that came up in the time of “stuff those emotions down”, I’m here to tell you that does not work. They come back with a vengeance and hopefully you don’t take your own life before you get help. Give Deer Hollow a chance, The staff is top notch and they have been through similar stuff and achieved Victory. You will be with peers going through the same stuff, no matter what their background we are more alike than different. I thank the people of Deer Hollow for saving my life. The Pathways inpatient facility gave me more than physical safety and care—it gave me something I had never truly known before: true emotional safety. The entire staff worked together to help me grow in the three areas of life that must be engaged—mind, body, and spirit. I walked in carrying a heavy prejudice against all men, but it was three men in particular who ended up aiding me the most, showing me that at our core, we really are all just human.
My main therapist, Daryl, guided me through reshaping my mindset and digging into my past to uncover my deepest wounds. He stood by me on one of the most emotionally painful days of my life, and I will never forget Destiny—one of the incredible nurses—literally running after him as he was about to head home, just so he could be there for me in that moment.
Dr. Sellers provided me with the best medical care I could have asked for. He never rushed through visits, always taking the time to explain not just what he was doing, but why—making sure I understood and felt safe with my treatment. I also want to thank Dawn, a powerhouse nurse who believed in my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself, and who pushed me to rise to the challenge.
Michael Ryan gave me the gift of faith and clarity in my higher power. He challenged me in ways I desperately needed, helping me confront the destructive core beliefs that caused me so much suffering and turn them upside down. He gave me the tools to question my own thoughts, and to approach them with both curiosity and compassion. Somehow, even in the middle of facing the hardest truths, he still managed to make me laugh and feel safe. I would also like to thank Lonnie, whose powerful meditation sessions left a deep impact on me. His encouragement meant so much because it came from a place of such authenticity.

There are many wonderful organizations and people in service to helping others with treatment and recovery. For me, the right fit was, is, and will continue to be Pathways. These folks are authentic in their desire to help change lives. They are some of the most remarkable humans I have been blessed with coming across in life.
They are talented and skilled, and well equipped to meet mental health and substance abuse needs. They are particularly experienced with integrating well-rounded trauma focused treatment, using a variety of evidence based treatment modalities.
Pathways staff AND clients create a safe space of healing and growth, and a place of acceptance and belonging, and without judgement. As a pathways client, I feel a sense of unity, community, and unyielding support.

I went to Brunswick exhausted, malnourished, and on the brink of a nervous breakdown. My marriage was ending because of Infedelity and I started drinking heavily. They made me feel safe, gave me a place to improve my health, Therapist that I could talk with and taught me skills to use when I was feeling overwhelmed in life. Very professional and understanding. They have helped me through a couple side devastating experiences and I greatly appreciate the help and understanding I received. The only thing I wish was different is the turn over of the counselors but I don’t think it’s the place the issue so much as the individual not being able to handle the job for to long.

Past client here, I spend almost two months at JMCR and during that time I was able to make so much progress to become the person I always wanted to be. JMCR allowed me to see my strengths and find love for myself, It taught me just how compassionate I really am and the impact that I have on others. Reggie and his team are experts in their field and work tirelessly (with love) to affect positive change in their clients. I remember on one occasion some of the staff were just reflecting on the emotional energy of time and tears started to well in their eyes. They told us how they just want the best for us and truly were expressing just how much they cared. Where other treatment programs might be punitive, JMCR takes a different approach to build you up with respect and compassion to help you find your strengths. Nothing could have helped me more than how JMCR helped me. I will be thankful for it for the rest of my life and I will never forget the people I met along the way! My child was here in the spring of 2023. I am glad that they had availability. The staff that work with the kids are pretty good. The counseling was excellent. They did have outings with those at this residential facility and this was a good thing for my child. The only complaint is that there was a lot of television during the down-time.
If your kid has to go to somewhere for residential, New Beginnings is a good place. The Intake Team is on the ball and they work with parents and their kids well.

I had an excellent experience at Willow Tree receiving help for alcoholism. The staff was incredible, the facility was clean and comfortable, and the administrative staff did wonders with my insurance company so that the whole experience was possible. I was nervous about going to treatment, but I couldn't be happier that I did, and Willow Tree exceeded my hopes and expectations. Thank you, Willow Tree, for all the help, friendships, guidance, support, and for my sobriety!

I struggled with alcohol/drugs, self-worth,
confidence, and anxiety for 8 years of my life.
was completely lost and hopeless. My false
egotistical mindset was basically the only thing
that was keeping me going. That was before I
had the opportunity of going to Willowtree
Recovery Center. At Willowtree I was not only
accepted with open arms and a non judgmental
lense, but with love and true sympathy and
empathy. It was a very safe place where! felt !
could be vulnerable and honest about my past,
and current mindset/situational behavior. The
staff was extremely professional and kind. I was
taught how to cope with my addiction and how to
change into the best version of myself. I have
been to 3 inpatient rehabilitation centers in the
past 8 years, and none of them even closely
compare to what Willowtree provided me with.

I honestly didn’t expect my son to feel so comfortable with a counselor, but he actually looks forward to their sessions.
The entire office has been wonderful to work with. My son had some car issues and missed a couple of appointments, and Daren personally reached out to check in. I also explained the situation to the front desk, who were understanding and incredibly easy to work with.
Overall, this is a great place to go. Highly recommend—5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Marie Snow is fabulous. She’s compassionate and devoted to her patients. She’s saved my life many times. The admin at JWFC is difficult to work with. Confusing, not user friendly and their policies are so strict that they tend to drive people away. Marie is why I’m still there. Update: Marie Snow still the best practictioner! New ownership, they're improving things, but the nternet in the building still doesn't work well for guests, and the staff though overwhelmed, seems to at least try. Adding a fifth star because Marie's dedication and skills compensate for whatever is lacking in admin. Thanks Marie!!!!

A fabulous place to get help, especially if you have been court ordered to do some sort of treatment.
They have a great team to help you get through the classes and treatment and they make sure you have everything you need once things are completed to show the court/judge you have complied.
They really care about you, prices are fair and reasonable, and it doesn't appear they are trying to get rich off of you and the problems you are facing.

I initially felt like a cranky toddler, but as time passed, I realized the experience was like a warm hug for my soul. I met a bunch of weirdos and discovered that I'm not alone in my crazy, because everyone's got their own special brand of nuts. Chris and his staff are like the cool aunts and uncles who actually get it, and they're super invested in helping you through the tough stuff. I started out feeling like a hot mess, but I left feeling like part of a big, dysfunctional family - and that's a weird kind of wonderful. Thanks for everything, I guess.

The Pathways inpatient facility gave me more than physical safety and care—it gave me something I had never truly known before: true emotional safety. The entire staff worked together to help me grow in the three areas of life that must be engaged—mind, body, and spirit. I walked in carrying a heavy prejudice against all men, but it was three men in particular who ended up aiding me the most, showing me that at our core, we really are all just human.
My main therapist, Daryl, guided me through reshaping my mindset and digging into my past to uncover my deepest wounds. He stood by me on one of the most emotionally painful days of my life, and I will never forget Destiny—one of the incredible nurses—literally running after him as he was about to head home, just so he could be there for me in that moment.
Dr. Sellers provided me with the best medical care I could have asked for. He never rushed through visits, always taking the time to explain not just what he was doing, but why—making sure I understood and felt safe with my treatment. I also want to thank Dawn, a powerhouse nurse who believed in my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself, and who pushed me to rise to the challenge.
Michael Ryan gave me the gift of faith and clarity in my higher power. He challenged me in ways I desperately needed, helping me confront the destructive core beliefs that caused me so much suffering and turn them upside down. He gave me the tools to question my own thoughts, and to approach them with both curiosity and compassion. Somehow, even in the middle of facing the hardest truths, he still managed to make me laugh and feel safe. I would also like to thank Lonnie, whose powerful meditation sessions left a deep impact on me. His encouragement meant so much because it came from a place of such authenticity.

There are many wonderful organizations and people in service to helping others with treatment and recovery. For me, the right fit was, is, and will continue to be Pathways. These folks are authentic in their desire to help change lives. They are some of the most remarkable humans I have been blessed with coming across in life.
They are talented and skilled, and well equipped to meet mental health and substance abuse needs. They are particularly experienced with integrating well-rounded trauma focused treatment, using a variety of evidence based treatment modalities.
Pathways staff AND clients create a safe space of healing and growth, and a place of acceptance and belonging, and without judgement. As a pathways client, I feel a sense of unity, community, and unyielding support.

Just finished my 16 weeks at abc and am very pleased with the results. I really like Lewis and am going to miss going to group. I never thought i would change my mind about my drug use but clearing up my mind and having a support group to keep me accountable was what I needed. Thank you lewis. This place is excellent. Becky was wonderful and has extensive experience in dealing with children and really understanding them to help with trauma and coping. She knows great methods to help my child feel comfortable and to allow the space to speak and display what has happened to her. Would highly recommend. Hey and her staff really care for children.
