Kyle Jones is my doctor and has been now for 2 years. We've had our differences but he has been able to help me out with several different medicines and help me on my road to recovery. He's an awesome guy and I think he speads himself pretty think and not many people actually take the time to thank him. So if nobody else says so "Kyle" I appreciate everything uve done for me.

My 14 year old son went to Mountain Valley for 99 days. It was the hardest decision his dad and I ever made but it turned out to be the best one we did for our son. It was not easy. But the staff and the administration were very good at keeping us informed and helping us navigate our way through it and how to support our son, how to take care of ourselves and also how to parent in a different way. We tried so many things for three years before. But ultimately his world got so small, he wouldn’t go to school, or listen to us. It wasn’t easy, but he came back from Mountain Valley more confident, thoughtful, respectful, emotionally aware with skills to help himself and he is polite. He also has a whole community of friends and mentors that he really values.

I have been to Mountain Valley twice, once at freshly 16 and again at 17 after a series of troublesome events occurred in my life, and I owe so much to this place for being an environment that empowered me, loved me, and provided me with the resources and support that I needed to get up on my feet and start living. The staff cared for me unconditionally. They were there with me through some of the arguably hardest days of my life, celebrated my successes and pushed me to take part in the difficult things they knew I could do, while also remaining consistent support systems even when I didn’t listen. The milieu was truly like my family away from home— the support given and received between Mountain Valley residents is an indescribably beautiful thing— and at MV I found a sense of community unlike anything I’d ever experienced before. With so many horrible places out there, I will never be able to express how thankful I am for Mountain Valley and what they do. I am forever grateful to the place that helped save my life. Over the years, I have referred many families to MVTC. Avenues Recovery saved my life! I don’t know where I would be without ever coming here. The staff, the facility, everything was amazing at Avenues Concord. I was 1000% supported in every way imaginable. Avenues Corcoran does recovery exceptionally well in all “avenues” lol. From playing volley and whale watching with the community here, to one on one sessions with my councilor and staff, everything hit for me. The atmosphere was welcoming and I’d tell anyone considering coming here to do it now rather than later! Your recovery matters and Avenues can help. I think the staff does a great job at New Season Concord, N. H. I constantly hear people talking bad about the clinic, and just putting it down. My thoughts would be that more then likely they probably would never open such a place of there wasn't proof of it working. Or should I say, if the success rate wasn't there. But anyways, in all reality, it honestly is what you make of it. You basically figure out how you want your goal of sobriety to go, with the help needed from the Doctor, Nurses, and the rest of the staff. And at the end of the day, you just continue to reach for the stars and never give up! Thank You again, New Season Patient

In December 2024 after going through detox at Charles River I had nowhere to go. I was homeless and I was a veteran. The staff reached out and was willing to take me within a few days. I was sent to this amazing facility facility. I was lucky enough to meet people that showed me the way and they were positive to get me to the point that I am now it’s been over two years that I’ve been sober and I’ve learned a lot about me, but I’ve also learned that it is a forever struggle and with the people at these facilities I took this day and grateful for the chances I had I went from being a client to being a Pear Leader for a short time I got to be a house manager it has changed my life for the better. I went to Antrim House about five months ago, and I can honestly say it changed my life. When I arrived, I was in a really unstable place and didn’t know what my future would look like. The staff treated me with respect, patience, and real compassion from day one. What stood out most was how much they genuinely cared — not just about getting me through the program, but about helping me build a foundation for long-term sobriety. The structure, accountability, and support made a huge difference for me. I learned how to be honest, how to take responsibility, and how to start creating stability in my life. Today I’m five months sober, and a big part of that is because of the tools and support I received there. If you’re on the fence about getting help, this place can truly be a turning point. I’m grateful for the staff here and for everything Antrim House did for me.

The people here have absolutely horrid grammar. The only good thing about this place was the deck swap card in uno and the weetabix... unfortunately, King Jessica/Julian would limit my eating habits. In all seriousness, when I first got to Brattleboro I was extremely nervous from the reviews I saw online being majorly negative (which then became an ongoing joke between me, my peers, and the staff - hence the beginning). That being said, for me, I found my stay there to be helpful and a good life experience to know that there's always someone who'll be there, even if you don't know them. I had lots of fun and made friends I'm still in contact with today. The staff is wonderful and only wants to help you, but I know this could be very different for other people going in there. So if you're like me, reading reviews as you drive over, just know that the living there can be hard and sometimes the kitchen will forget you ordered a grilled cheese, but you're there to get help and the staff is there to give you help so if you're cooperative, going to groups, and working on improvement - you're undeniably going to get better. Yes, some of the reviews are right and it can be a little scary to watch people be restrained, but you need to focus on yourself there.

The staff were amazing, it was difficult with the forced isolation and strict rules but after a while I realized it was necessary. Forced quiet when I couldn’t quiet myself. Caring and compassionate I needed them and proud to say I’m an Ally (LGBTQIA+) One suggestion PLEASE ! Have everyone sign a release of info to their PCP right off on the day of discharge. Get the process started because it is a long and broken system to navigate and this will shorten it. It’s the patient who suffers from the 30 days plus process and the communication and paperwork that it takes for the two to talk to each other. It’s just one less thing we have to remember or concentrate on while trying to get back into the world again.

After 30 years and 38 surgeries as well as being hit from behind a 55 miles plus per hour walking my dog October 18th 2024 the only option besides fentanyl the doctors would give me were more narcotics with an adrenal issue cancer and unresolved Medical issues. Stay away from the community health center of Franklin County if you value to the your life and the life of your loved ones. You only get one life. The Behavioral Health Network and Greenfield are a true lifesaver. When I showed up at their door at the beginning of June 2025 before my 40th birthday I was literally being stalked by the Grim Reaper. Every particle of this breakfast is hands down phenomenal. From the first stone you drive over in the parking lot to the security overseer Adam in the waiting room. I've been nothing but helped and heard. I am very proud of this facility and Alexander getting involved with helping others get their life back whether it be for the same reasons as me or other. And the difference between the behavioral health network and hcrc at energy Park is that the behavioral health network is a not-for-profit practice. Meaning they put the patient and the patient's needs first. Hcrc the energy Park in Greenfield is for profit, meaning they work off meeting there deadline and they do not seem to care how people feel about the medications or anything they don't seem to understand that not all people want take home medications and if you're so desperate for takeovers and it's likely not exactly cuz you're dying to have your medication as I learned considering as I walked out of hcrc in the middle of my intake appointment knowing it was the complete wrong place for me I was asked on my way out to the car if I had any bottles I would sell. I had no idea what that meant and was actually terrified being something very intimidating and new full of uncertainty with plenty of terminal illnesses and other service medical issues on board. The practice went above and beyond to make sure that I felt comfortable from picking up the paperwork to be getting treatment through my treatment and I wanted therapeutic services or had any needs they were usually addressed immediately or I were able to be put on providers

This BHN facility has its ups and downs to it. From May 2018, to current day! I have experienced so much over the years. From being a Co-Ed Detox up until 2022. My last time being in this building in 2021, I'm now a resident of Connections. My caseworker Alex is very reasonable and understanding. The program director Jen is a wonderfully kind and cooperative person. This is a locked facility, where you have to be let on or off the unit. The different paths in recovery are accepted. There is from a structured guidance program here. 3 beds in each room, 3 meals provided daily, and staff (Recovery Specialists & Clinical Counselors) that will provide help/assistance/resources. I've been here in this new program for a week now and have adjusted very well. My future here will be very conducive to my recovery, I also believe that I can and will be very successful. The downsides here are only, grievance forms aren't responded to timely. Your not allowed to bring food or beverages on to unit. Very

Ladd the program director was who I dealt with & he is always very caring , easy to talk to & understands & genuinely cares about how you’re doing. Spring Lake Ranch saved my life. No, this is not an overstatement. Not only that, but it saved my relationship with my family. To give you some backstory, I had spent 6 years battling deep depression, OCD, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. I was very resistant to doing any sort of inpatient/residential treatment; despite efforts from my parents and therapists, I refused. And if you know anything about treatment, you know that you must be willing to receive help to get anything out of it. It took living on my own, not working, not in school, having hit yet another wall after trying IV ketamine therapy, for me to push past any pride and fear and admit that something needed to change. I did a Google search trying to find somewhere, anywhere to go that wasn’t a white wall institution, for the only thing that briefly brought me out of the dark hole I was living in was being outside with my dog. I found SLR, in addition to Gould, interested in their therapeutic community-based approach to treatment, and decided to take a tour of both. After a disappointing visit to Gould, I knew it wasn’t the place for me, a conclusion they came to as well. My dad and I then drove to Vermont and met with Kevin to tour the ranch. The atmosphere was lively, the people were friendly, and you couldn't differentiate who was a resident and who was staff. Though still trepidatious, later that day, my dad and I went back to our Airbnb and decided to move forward with it. The ranch isn't a traditional treatment place, and you can see that with every ranch holiday, as many former residents come back to visit, and the ranch welcomes them with open arms. I met some of my best friends and had the most life-changing experiences (for example, assisting in 3 piglet births as someone from a city who had only seen farm animals from a distance). This isn’t to say I didn’t have hard times, there were many instances where I fell back, but for the first time I had a community and net of support that helped me get back on my feet, and eventually gave my the courage and confidence to realize I could succeed on my own, but also that I wasn’t alone, and asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. During my time at the ranch, I was on a farm crew (though occasionally on gardens to help decorate birthday/goodbye cakes). It pushed me mentally and physically, and with each day on crew, I felt stronger and more capable. I also completed a mural during my stay, a project the ranch supported me with (along with Carl and Olivia, both of whom I attribute so much of my personal and creative growth to). I got to the ranch in March 2024 and left in April 2025. Some stay shorter, some longer, but the year I spent at the ranch wasn’t one I look back on as a “year I lost in treatment”, but the year that made me WANT to live again.

Went in on Tuesday with my 2 1/2 year-old. She was having trouble breathing and didn’t seem like herself. She tested positive for RSV and the pediatric doctor there (red headed lovely woman) was super helpful in making the decision to get her helicoptered over to CCMC in Hartford. The staff is very knowledgeable and I appreciated them making quick decisions and getting us a transport that was safe and effective. My only complaint would be that my daughter seemed way worse often than anyone else in the waiting room and we still had to wait about 45 minutes to be seen. I went up once and explained like she’s actually struggling to breathe and then it was only about 10 minutes later that they saw her so they did act once I voiced my concern. I would recommend advocating for yourself at the urgent care check-in if you are really in distress.

Nice little clinic. The people are kind and helpful. This is the longest I’ve been able to be stable in my sobriety. My counselor is intelligent, helpful and caring. He’s open to receive any phone calls anytime I need help or have questions. The nursing staff is nice too. It’s just been a pleasant experience all the way around. I’ve been there for over two years. I really appreciate the help. Thank you.

Im grateful to have them in my area. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The director is also very helpful to everyone, her door is always open! They deal with the insurance company for you, and are very helpful¡! Makes you feel like a person, not just a number,Thank you Guys!!

This place is great, Thank you Grace,Tina,Andrea,lauren, Jim, and everyone else i am missing. Great structures equal great results .Go thete if you truly want to recover ,meetings from 8am to 8pm with breaks. When i was there i believe that to many folks were truly there not to recover but directed to be there. But yet the program never gave up on anyone. 60 days out they are still in contact with me. The aftercare support system is great and through Grace you supports are second to none!! I dont know how to thank them and i am defiantly awaiting to go back and speak . I cant say enough about what they did for me. Thank you for giving back my life after 40 years of alcohol and drug use, i am 60 days clean and thinos is amazing to me and i dont miss it abit.I will be clean and sober forever as long as take it one day at a time and always remember i am a alcoholic and drug addict and i can never stop working the program and the day you do is trouble.
