Everyone that I met at SaVida was terrific. Amy is a very sweet and kind person who listened to every word I said and really listened to me. Heather was just a kind. MV was the first treatment center I ever attended. I was terrified going in—I had never been away from home, and I was struggling deeply with depression, OCD, and anxiety. I had graduated from high school in 2023, taken a gap year, and was preparing to start at Franklin & Marshall College when I hit my rock bottom. Together, my parents and I made the difficult decision that I needed more intensive support. Looking back now, those five months at MV became the most transformative period of my life. I met incredible people—both residents and staff—who made me feel seen, understood, and supported. During my time at MV, I was able to heal and reconnect with the core of my values. Of course, there were moments when I felt frustrated with the program; treatment is a vulnerable space that asks you to confront your fears, your patterns, and the safety behaviors that have led your life. But MV offered me the safety, structure, and guidance I needed to work through that discomfort. They gave me the push no one else could. MV helped me to realize just how much I needed consistency, caring accountability, and firm but compassionate support. Today, my OCD is so much better, and although my anxiety is still around (it’s always going to be a pesky little friend), I’ve learned how to work with it instead of letting it control me. I’m currently living in Portland, ME, in a transitional living program where I’m taking classes at SMCC, working at Anthropologie, and learning how to support myself. To see the progress from a year ago—when I couldn’t even leave my room—to where I am now is incredibly empowering. And best of all, I've realized that the strength I needed was already within me; I just needed some help remembering that it was there. None of this would have been possible without the foundation MV helped me build. I am forever grateful to everyone there. It genuinely changed my life. P.S. Here’s a photo of me at the peak of Mt. Moosilauke—best hike ever!

My daughter went through the Mountain Valley treatment program for her anxiety. Mountain Valley provides excellent, evidenced based treatment for anxiety and OCD to teens and young adults ages 13-21 in a beautiful, warm setting. The staff: directors, clinicians, and residential staff, are intelligent, skilled, compassionate, and wise. Not only do they provide great treatment in the form of exposure response treatment, CBT, DBT, and ACT; they explore the larger life journey, values, and meaning for each resident. They connect the residents to nature in their beautiful NH setting, and on their farm with animals. They have a wonderful chef and integrate healthy food and life style choices. They have a three phase treatment structure that aligns the treatment process with the idea of a heroic journey, and have ceremonies to mark entering each phase (a fire ceremony and an ice bath ceremony). They foster an atmosphere among the residents that allow them to develop community with others and deep connections. My daughter not only learned the tools to address her anxiety that she will carry forward, she learned to connect with herself and her values, and to tolerate her distress and challenges with courage. In addition, they offer a parent support and education program that allows us to learn about anxiety, supports us, and gives us the tools to parent our children with significant anxiety. They also offer a transitions program for the residents after they leave to bridge the return to their lives at school, home, and in their communities, My daughter’s experience at Mountain Valley was life changing and healing. I recommend it without reservation for kids with severe anxiety and OCD, and am so grateful for her and our experience at Mountain Valley.

Mountain Valley has truly been a lifesaver to our family! It is a special place made up of special people who have both the expertise and the caring hearts to support both their residents and their families during a very difficult time. They were able to turn my daughter’s bright light back on that had been dimmed due to anxiety and depression. They educated her to help her understand what she was going through, gave her coping skills for when she experiences her highs and lows, and helped her to learn strategies and routines that allow her to maintain a healthier lifestyle. They also helped and supported our family to learn what we could do to better support her. In connecting with the other residents and forming incredibly close friendships, for the first time, our daughter didn’t feel alone in what she was going through. The therapists and staff at Mountain Valley are unmatched in the way they care about and connect with the residents. My daughter really trusted them and finally had hope that she could get better. On top of all that, she loved being there and had so much fun in all their activities. I am forever grateful to Mountain Valley!!!!

How does one sum up a life saving, live changing, experience in a matter of a few words? You really can't. However, if enough people have had the privilege to spend 60 days in Dublin NH, @Avenues, ones who struggle with addiction / mental health issues, then the actions of these people who who went through this program (should they have also put some work in there) would individually contribute to bettering this world through a new-found perspective and a deep understanding of the disease of addiction, along with so many mental health struggles that so many face, anxiety, depression, or many other struggles. The program is designed almost perfectly, or as perfect as one can be, to treat people that may not be alcoholics or addicts but have had some outside consequences because of drinking or recreational drug use ( if there's even such thing), the alcoholic / addict that can't seem to stop no matter what outside consequence they encounter, or the ones who swear it off time after time only to end up on another bender and can't figure out this happened, often referred to as the hopeless variety, unless they find some sort of spiritual, divine intervention, and these are the ones that benefit from this program the most sense that hopeless variety battles the mind body and spirit of addiction all three need to be treated equally which this program allows with great balance. They offer a platform for all of these, they have one of the best trained staff to handle just about any mental health disorder and truly treat it. The majority of treatment centers are 28 days now, if you're lucky, @dublinavenues they offer a 60-day multi-phase program in one of the most beautiful towns in America, in a historic building and grounds that are private peaceful and really fun. While there you can get in cornhole, tournaments, basketball, wiffle ball, baseball, enjoy the gym, we got a volleyball court, ping pong, so there is beyond enough recreational free time and things to do along with plenty of outside commitments that come into help us I would have to name off just about every staff member to tell you who the best are, but I will stick with some really important ones that made a huge impact in my life and contributed to legitimately saving it, and teaching me how to reintegrate into society within 60 days, after years of destroying my life and losing what life skills I had once had. Steve K who runs the alumni program, Ashley who is admissions, Justin b who's a BHT, AND Dom too, these are three people that continued to fight for me when I had ran out of fight, they helped me get in there and never gave up and offered so much support when I was there. I was fortunate enough to have Megan for my counselor, hands down one of the best that I've ever experienced in my life, and I have spent a life battling addiction and mental health issues, in and out of treatment centers for years, she is among the best of the best. The rest of the counselors, Ben and Sasha, Riley, Sarah, Kaylee, and these are some of the best of the best so you will be fortunate to have any of them. I cannot say enough about Alyssa h who runs a group called Faith in recovery, it aligns with the 12 steps and God through the Bible and AA, aside from my individual sessions with Megan, this was the most powerful experience I had there for myself. If God isn't your thing or spirituality they have a ton of experience knowledge and opportunity for other recovery paths as well. If you are struggling please call this place and continue to call until about is available and while you're there get involved with AAA the resident run big book step study group at 6:00 p.m. Monday night Wednesday night Friday night and Saturday night, 3 wonderful women Carrie, Debbie, Jessica, put some work in so we could have up here run group and it is one of the things that gave me purpose check out Faith and recovery Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m. and just know whoever your counselor is you will be in great hands, but try to get Megan. Antrim House was hands down the best treatment center I have been to and I know that I was not the only client that felt that way. All of the staff at Antrim made me feel heard and catered to our needs always. The BHA’s, Clinicians, Providers, Nursing Staff all went above and beyond to help me out throughout my stay there. Had some amazing talks with Brittany, Sherrie, Bailey, Chris D, Daniella, Wanda, Trevor, Lisa, Trish, Ashley, Joe and more that I will never forget. The food there cooked by Leah was top notch and the best food I’ve ever had at a treatment center. I love the fact that Krystle the alumni coordinator is so involved in her job and so passionate about what she does. It is really cool to me that she is so productive and proactive about keeping everyone in contact on the alumni app for events so we can all keep in touch and continue on together as a community in our recovery journey so that we have each other to lift one another up each step of the way. I won’t forget the amazing staff that held groups that I absorbed so much from, I will always feel forever grateful and forever blessed to have found Antrim House in my searches for a treatment center. I feel it was by the grace of God that it all worked out the way it did. Thank you to all the staff, I have nothing but amazing things to say about you all, and words can’t express how much you all mean to me. Len, Chris D, Brittany, Chris G, Trevor, Wanda, Lisa, Tonya, Keith, Martha, Brielle, Christian, Ben, Joe, Bailey, Doreen, Jessica(Provider), Chauntelle, Krystle, Daniella, Trish, Peter, John, Jessica, Sue, Michelle, Hannah, Kim, Mindy, Sherrie, Ashley. I would recommend Antrim house to anybody who is having a hard time in life and trying to turn their life around. Best recovery residential treatment center there is in the state in my mind. All of the staff there have been there before and have walked in these shoes. They all speak from experience and they care about where we are all at in our journey and want to be with us every step of the way. I will never forget my stay there at Antrim because it has helped save my life. If I kept going on the path I was going down I don’t know if I would be here leaving this review because I would most likely be dead. I can’t tell you how to get sober because everyone is different and needs different things, but I can tell you that Antrim House will give you all the tools you need to stay sober and be successful after you leave to stay on the right path. Antrim House and their staff will fight for you daily and they believe in you. The way they care and the staff there speaks volumes about Sobriety Centers as a whole and I am so grateful that I was able to go through this program. I will forever recommend this program to anyone that ever comes to me with a problem in need of help. Antrim will be the go to. Thank you for everything you guys have done for me! Words can’t express how grateful I am for you all!

My case manager bent over backwards to help me navigate a complicated set of logistical issues. because of the dedication of the staff at Antrim I got a chance to do the real work on me, that i had never been able to do before! I am indebted to the nursing staff who stood by me as I dealt with the consequences of my use. The people here have absolutely horrid grammar. The only good thing about this place was the deck swap card in uno and the weetabix... unfortunately, King Jessica/Julian would limit my eating habits. In all seriousness, when I first got to Brattleboro I was extremely nervous from the reviews I saw online being majorly negative (which then became an ongoing joke between me, my peers, and the staff - hence the beginning). That being said, for me, I found my stay there to be helpful and a good life experience to know that there's always someone who'll be there, even if you don't know them. I had lots of fun and made friends I'm still in contact with today. The staff is wonderful and only wants to help you, but I know this could be very different for other people going in there. So if you're like me, reading reviews as you drive over, just know that the living there can be hard and sometimes the kitchen will forget you ordered a grilled cheese, but you're there to get help and the staff is there to give you help so if you're cooperative, going to groups, and working on improvement - you're undeniably going to get better. Yes, some of the reviews are right and it can be a little scary to watch people be restrained, but you need to focus on yourself there.

The staff were amazing, it was difficult with the forced isolation and strict rules but after a while I realized it was necessary. Forced quiet when I couldn’t quiet myself. Caring and compassionate I needed them and proud to say I’m an Ally (LGBTQIA+) One suggestion PLEASE ! Have everyone sign a release of info to their PCP right off on the day of discharge. Get the process started because it is a long and broken system to navigate and this will shorten it. It’s the patient who suffers from the 30 days plus process and the communication and paperwork that it takes for the two to talk to each other. It’s just one less thing we have to remember or concentrate on while trying to get back into the world again.

I think the staff does a great job at New Season Concord, N. H. I constantly hear people talking bad about the clinic, and just putting it down. My thoughts would be that more then likely they probably would never open such a place of there wasn't proof of it working. Or should I say, if the success rate wasn't there. But anyways, in all reality, it honestly is what you make of it. You basically figure out how you want your goal of sobriety to go, with the help needed from the Doctor, Nurses, and the rest of the staff. I had recently visited on October 17th, 2025. I had a viral infection that was later determined after testing. I had seen many folks with many much more serious cases, so I asked to please wait in the waiting area until final decision where I should go. I believed to have had 3 X-rays, Strep culture, COVID 19 test and other rapid testing. I will believe a few other times I visited that things were going to be a smooth advance to the actual unit. I had also back in 2019 being under a Section 12 care was treated without prejudice and utmost respect. The loyalty and trust from all the employees were great and that I wouldn't seem to have a rough interaction. I wish to be there on certain circumstances differently, but I have not had Ever bad interactions at BSF! Even during other hospitals being out of operations and BSF being over packed with clients and patienta they managed to handle everyone with care, respect and patience. I just got out, I was sicker than I thought. Im going to honestly say I have mixed feelings it really is hit or miss at this hospital. Respectfully I can say they are very short staffed, and extremely overwhelmed. I was in for 2 days found an abcess and pin hole in my intestines they treated me to the best of their ability they were honest but towards the end the vibe was off. And yes they definitely want to make sure you aren't there pill seeking. Not everyone is a junkie and yes i did feel that i was screened for some reason.People like me dont look sick because of high pain tolerances I live in pain. However you have to give credit were it has been earned the unit nursing staff on 1 floor was and is excellent they listen they care.kaylee,shana,serenety,brenda,michelle,levy,CT. I forgit your name and everyone else I couldnt remember thank you. Room#6 corner suite. So in the end we are in control of ourselves if your sick and you need the ER go because if I need them again I will take my chances. Sometimes you have to make the best out of a bad situation that's just life.

This BHN facility has its ups and downs to it. From May 2018, to current day! I have experienced so much over the years. From being a Co-Ed Detox up until 2022. The program director Jen is a wonderfully kind and cooperative person. This is a locked facility, where you have to be let on or off the unit. The different paths in recovery are accepted. There is from a structured guidance program here. 3 beds in each room, 3 meals provided daily, and staff (Recovery Specialists & Clinical Counselors) that will provide help/assistance/resources. I've been here in this new program for a week now and have adjusted very well. My future here will be very conducive to my recovery, I also believe that I can and will be very successful. This isn’t a bad long term rehabilitation program if you are looking for a program that is Bible based rather than Bill Wilson’s “big book”, but it’s by no means perfect despite all the 5 star ratings. Granite Recovery might be better for long term sobriety. It has a higher success rate. In all honesty, I did graduate but I probably should have been hospitalized for exhaustion afterward. You have to work really hard here- both physically and emotionally. Keep an open mind but don’t expect a happy ever after- it isn’t for everybody.

Nice little clinic. The people are kind and helpful. This is the longest I’ve been able to be stable in my sobriety. My counselor is intelligent, helpful and caring. He’s open to receive any phone calls anytime I need help or have questions. The nursing staff is nice too. It’s just been a pleasant experience all the way around. I’ve been there for over two years. I really appreciate the help. Thank you.

The program works if you work it. Just like with any other program out there, you have to put the effort in. No one can do it for you. Depending on your insurance you may be able to get a taxi ride to the clinic each day. No matter where you live. Do not let negative reviews sway you from making the decision to get clean. You can do this. These people can help. Everything they do is for the purpose of getting you clean. I know many people who have gained remission from addiction with the help of metro, including myself. When its a life or death decision, choose life.
