With serious hard work and self reflection. Taking the program seriously and not just come here for a bed to look good on court documents or probation. It is an awesome program and has a high success rate. ORH will NOT discharge someone if he is doing everything that is asked of him, attending groups, meeting, participation around the house, and keeping a clean room, People who do not take the program seriously will have bad reviews. Family/friends writing reviews on others behalfs don't know the real reasons why other were discharged. And could have happened for a number of reasons. I truly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend the program to others. 3 years ago

The campus is gorgeous and healing. The ability to walk around and socialize in an open space is wonderful. I really felt cared for by the clinicians, case managers, nurses and RSes. CORPORATE, however is obviously very greedy unfortunately. You are a number to them. It’s a common problem but something you should know. Do not listen to promises of recruiters, there are many things said to try to get you signed up (commission) that are untrue (ex/ pool, trails, what you can bring or not etc) Know your rights. The only good thing about this place was the deck swap card in uno and the weetabix... unfortunately, King Jessica/Julian would limit my eating habits. In all seriousness, when I first got to Brattleboro I was extremely nervous from the reviews I saw online being majorly negative (which then became an ongoing joke between me, my peers, and the staff - hence the beginning). That being said, for me, I found my stay there to be helpful and a good life experience to know that there's always someone who'll be there, even if you don't know them. I had lots of fun and made friends I'm still in contact with today. The staff is wonderful and only wants to help you, but I know this could be very different for other people going in there. So if you're like me, reading reviews as you drive over, just know that the living there can be hard and sometimes the kitchen will forget you ordered a grilled cheese, but you're there to get help and the staff is there to give you help so if you're cooperative, going to groups, and working on improvement - you're undeniably going to get better. Yes, some of the reviews are right and it can be a little scary to watch people be restrained, but you need to focus on yourself there. Forced quiet when I couldn’t quiet myself. Caring and compassionate I needed them and proud to say I’m an Ally (LGBTQIA+) One suggestion PLEASE ! Have everyone sign a release of info to their PCP right off on the day of discharge. Get the process started because it is a long and broken system to navigate and this will shorten it. It’s the patient who suffers from the 30 days plus process and the communication and paperwork that it takes for the two to talk to each other. After 30 years and 38 surgeries as well as being hit from behind a 55 miles plus per hour walking my dog October 18th 2024 the only option besides fentanyl the doctors would give me were more narcotics with an adrenal issue cancer and unresolved Medical issues. Stay away from the community health center of Franklin County if you value to the your life and the life of your loved ones. You only get one life. The Behavioral Health Network and Greenfield are a true lifesaver. When I showed up at their door at the beginning of June 2025 before my 40th birthday I was literally being stalked by the Grim Reaper. Every particle of this breakfast is hands down phenomenal. From the first stone you drive over in the parking lot to the security overseer Adam in the waiting room. I've been nothing but helped and heard. I am very proud of this facility and Alexander getting involved with helping others get their life back whether it be for the same reasons as me or other. And the difference between the behavioral health network and hcrc at energy Park is that the behavioral health network is a not-for-profit practice. Meaning they put the patient and the patient's needs first. Hcrc the energy Park in Greenfield is for profit, meaning they work off meeting there deadline and they do not seem to care how people feel about the medications or anything they don't seem to understand that not all people want take home medications and if you're so desperate for takeovers and it's likely not exactly cuz you're dying to have your medication as I learned considering as I walked out of hcrc in the middle of my intake appointment knowing it was the complete wrong place for me I was asked on my way out to the car if I had any bottles I would sell. I had no idea what that meant and was actually terrified being something very intimidating and new full of uncertainty with plenty of terminal illnesses and other service medical issues on board. The practice went above and beyond to make sure that I felt comfortable from picking up the paperwork to be getting treatment through my treatment and I wanted therapeutic services or had any needs they were usually addressed immediately or I were able to be put on providers Miss Fa-Fu 2 months ago Very nice people in BHN they have been very helpful always accommodating Chris 5 months ago This BHN facility has its ups and downs to it. From May 2018, to current day! I have experienced so much over the years. From being a Co-Ed Detox up until 2022. My last time being in this building in 2021, I'm now a resident of Connections. My caseworker Alex is very reasonable and understanding. The program director Jen is a wonderfully kind and cooperative person. This is a locked facility, where you have to be let on or off the unit. The different paths in recovery are accepted. There is from a structured guidance program here. 3 beds in each room, 3 meals provided daily, and staff (Recovery Specialists & Clinical Counselors) that will provide help/assistance/resources. I've been here in this new program for a week now and have adjusted very well. My future here will be very conducive to my recovery, I also believe that I can and will be very successful. I was at the Betty Ford before this, and it was absolute garbage in comparison, both in quality of care and quality of the property. Every single staff member at fernside absolutely cares about patients and the staff outnumber and patients - which is extremely rare. Betty Ford was something like four patients per staff member. Here there’s typically 3MD’s, 3-4 nurses, multiple therapists, and an amazing private chef. At fernside you have industry leading experts with resources directly from Harvard meeting as a team to diagnose, underlying health conditions, and treat various addictions. You meet with them all individually multiple times per week and they speak with each other to discuss mental health, medications, etc. It’s like the show house. They have the time to do so because there are typically 4-6 patients and a maximum of 9. If you want a full breakdown and evaluation with individualized care, this is the place for you. I cannot say enough, kind things about this place; The only con is that it is $70,000 a month and they do not accept insurance. Chase Burch 9 months ago I had a great experience here. She was having trouble breathing and didn’t seem like herself. She tested positive for RSV and the pediatric doctor there (red headed lovely woman) was super helpful in making the decision to get her helicoptered over to CCMC in Hartford. The staff is very knowledgeable and I appreciated them making quick decisions and getting us a transport that was safe and effective. My only complaint would be that my daughter seemed way worse often than anyone else in the waiting room and we still had to wait about 45 minutes to be seen. I went up once and explained like she’s actually struggling to breathe and then it was only about 10 minutes later that they saw her so they did act once I voiced my concern. Outdoor picnic tables for contemplation. Privacy is a Huge plus adding to focus. Haven't been there in over a year. I hope it hasn't lost its "run down summer camp" vibe I read in the other review that it's new (renovated) because a lot of charm is in the larger room with books. Casual with Excellent Experienced Highly empathetic dedicated counselors. They've seen it all. The composition of "Patients" is quite varied. You can have a Professor making buddies with a plumber. I mean this in the best way & you already know that's how it works ideally. I just want to encourage people to not stereotype it as one socioeconomic group or another. But yeah mostly white. Great place. Darwinsom 6 years ago This a very protected environment where you can focus on your treatment with no distractions. The groups are beneficial, the therapy is superb, and the staff is second to none. The facility is new as of writing this and provides a calm and relaxing environment to focus on your recovery and self. As with all programs like this you get what you put into it. Cant speak highly enough about the staff. They will be there for you anytime and guide you threw the hurdles of addiction and mental health issues. Thank you to Neakaug and their staff I cant praise you enough. I hope this this program doesnt depart from an excellent program they have working. When I showed up at their door at the beginning of June 2025 before my 40th birthday I was literally being stalked by the Grim Reaper. Every particle of this breakfast is hands down phenomenal. From the first stone you drive over in the parking lot to the security overseer Adam in the waiting room. I've been nothing but helped and heard. I am very proud of this facility and Alexander getting involved with helping others get their life back whether it be for the same reasons as me or other. And the difference between the behavioral health network and hcrc at energy Park is that the behavioral health network is a not-for-profit practice. Meaning they put the patient and the patient's needs first. Hcrc the energy Park in Greenfield is for profit, meaning they work off meeting there deadline and they do not seem to care how people feel about the medications or anything they don't seem to understand that not all people want take home medications and if you're so desperate for takeovers and it's likely not exactly cuz you're dying to have your medication as I learned considering as I walked out of hcrc in the middle of my intake appointment knowing it was the complete wrong place for me I was asked on my way out to the car if I had any bottles I would sell. I had no idea what that meant and was actually terrified being something very intimidating and new full of uncertainty with plenty of terminal illnesses and other service medical issues on board. The practice went above and beyond to make sure that I felt comfortable from picking up the paperwork to be getting treatment through my treatment and I wanted therapeutic services or had any needs they were usually addressed immediately or I were able to be put on providers Miss Fa-Fu 2 months ago Very nice people in BHN they have been very helpful always accommodating Chris 5 months ago This BHN facility has its ups and downs to it. From May 2018, to current day! I have experienced so much over the years. From being a Co-Ed Detox up until 2022. My last time being in this building in 2021, I'm now a resident of Connections. My caseworker Alex is very reasonable and understanding. The program director Jen is a wonderfully kind and cooperative person. This is a locked facility, where you have to be let on or off the unit. The different paths in recovery are accepted. There is from a structured guidance program here. 3 beds in each room, 3 meals provided daily, and staff (Recovery Specialists & Clinical Counselors) that will provide help/assistance/resources. I've been here in this new program for a week now and have adjusted very well. My future here will be very conducive to my recovery, I also believe that I can and will be very successful.
