Literal Super Heroes to me, the staff and the medication helped me break the endless living hell that is heroin addiction. Thanks to these guys I no longer wake up wishing that I hadn't woke up and that's no joke. The staff here are the most friendly people you could ever meet, no judgement from them, they just truly want to help people. There's nobody in the world that I respect more than the people who work at New Start Clinic. I have been off heroin for 6 years now and I couldn't have done it without them. If you are on the fence about getting medication to stop opiod dependency, and wanting to change your life out of the depressing spiral of drug addiction, I would 1000% recommend coming here, free with state insurance, very cool and non judgmental people that will work with you not because it's their job but because they want to help people improve their life. I am so grateful for New start clinic and all of their staff.i was worried that I would be looked down on when seeking help because of past experiences with local hospitals and pharmacies that were full of judgment but New Start is full of kind, compassionate staff that, even though they don't understand what your going through, they give you respect and listen to your needs. I was recently here and the staff were very professional and respectful, counselors were informative but the total class time was minimal. If you want clean time this is the place to go, if you desire more structure I'd recommend abhs. But. Now a year later I'm still clean and I owe it in part to this program. Without them who knows? I could very easily have died by now

So this was the only treatment center I have ever attended so I don't have much to compare it to but most of my issues I had with the program where not so much because of the program itself but my own bitterness towards it. Now having said that the building was definitely in need of some TLC and it was obvious that budget was going more towards the staff and counselors than the treatment center itself. Outdoor activities where on par for an elementary school not so much for grown men who want more than a volley ball court and a broken basketball hoop but hey it's not a retreat. The lecture hall was my personal favorite place in the whole building. Saturdays all the clients would get together and we'd watch movies on a giant projector screen and if you're a quiet person like me who likes to keep to themselves it's usually pretty empty in there after lunch till it's time for lights out. This place had 2 amazing counselors whose names I can't remember. My counselor was Viki and she was a delight but I must say she's better as a friend than a counselor. Now as far as the counselor that drives the Tesla he's a real a-hole and the fact he's aloud to be a counselor of any sort blows my mind. But you gotta remember it's not up to the counselors to work your recovery and that's something I had to learn months after I left blaming them for my failed sobriety when really it was me not working my steps. The freaking food tho was so good every meal. Like I'd happily relapse just to go back for that lol. But seriously your recovery is on you and you are worth it. This place has its flaws but if you focus on yourself and your well being its a great place to take a step back and take a deep breathe. JOTC truly set me on a path of recovery. I just had to get over my bitterness and work my steps. Don't be discouraged recovery isn't easy but your life is something worth doing it for and I love you and I'm glad your taking a step towards the greatness you deserve. -Keegan Stonebraker graduation class of March 18th 2022

I recently graduated from the Ranch for both alcohol and drug addiction. This was my first time at inpatient treatment. I am so grateful for the staff and magic that the Sundown M Ranch has to offer. My counselor, Barb, has a passion for sobriety and recovery that is infectious. She gives detailed, professional and compassionate care to her parents. The other counselors were also very willing to help if Barb wasn't available. It is very easy to tell that they are passionate about their work and truly want to see every patient succeed in their recovery. I'm also part of the LGBTQ+ community. I was treated no differently than any other patient. I was accepted and respected for my nonbinary status. My pronouns, they/them, were respected and remembered by the counselors, house managers, administrative staff, housekeepers and kitchen staff. Every employee at the Ranch works to ensure the comfort and safety of every patient in their care. The food is incredible, the group therapy, lectures, one on one time with my counselor and interactions were very positive. The Ranch was truly there to help me save my own life and abstain from drugs and alcohol during treatment. I am 47 days sober and working every day to treat my chronic disease of addiction. Thank you so much to everyone involved at the Sundown M Ranch for the loving and compassionate care I received. I eagerly recommend this facility if you are truly ready to do the work of recovery!

I attended ReStart in Dec 2016 to 2017. The structure of the inpatient program really helped to fill the time that gaming and tech had taken (which was every waking minute of every day for many years for me, I felt like an extreme case). Taking the time to sit in the present moment and day was something that was simple yet something I really never did since I was 12. I entered when I was 24, nearly 25. I'm 33 now. Restart showed me how great life could be with people who struggled with their own problems. None of them had the exact pattern I did but they had their troubles with tech use as a distraction from family and school issues. Therapy 1 on 1 really helped to dive into why I turned to gaming. Dr. Cash was really understanding and suggested various books and 12 step meetings to attend. I attend those meetings to this day. Crossfit really helped to get my body moving when I was in restart and it really lifted my depression. The most invaluable part is still being friends and near people who were in the program when I was. As time has gone on, some people have moved further away but there is still a core of us who live a healthy and social life together and have progressed further into our work lives and schools than we probably never imagined accomplishing. If you as a teen or young adult thinks you have an issue with tech and you can't stop, I'd really recommend ReStart if you want to get out of those chains and get the tools to live a full and healthy life. If you are a parent with a kid who has tech issues around VR or gaming or something that takes up enormous amounts of time in your child's day and life, maybe reStart is the place to look. I'd make sure you're limiting tech time from a young age before they are teens. I was in that situation as a teen and I found so many work arounds. My mom tried. I was lost at that point. Restart gave me a chance to restart my life in a sense. Free from the chains of gaming. That's not to say I've had my fair share of relapses, but now I have the recipe so to speak and that first step is accepting help when I cannot do this alone. Get help if you're stuck like I was. Time is too precious to let slip by. I suffer from agoraphobia and have an intense fear of open areas. I imagine that was due to the amount of time I spent indoors and such. The tools at reStart and time away from gaming allowed me to feel comfortable enough to go out for a hike at Mailbox Peak in 2018 or 2019 and climb 90% of the way up. The attached picture is from that hike. It's thanks to reStart that I was able to do that as well as the friends I made from the program. I'm really grateful. Overall, a very very helpful environment. The staff were incredible, therapists and direct care alike, and I made tremendous personal progress through my stay in the program. The best part of restart is the individualized care and 1 on 1 therapy that every client gets. There's a lot of meeting you where you're at, and working at base level problems, past just the addiction that I found invaluable. The LBP is the program's biggest weakness with how "one size fits all" it appears to be, however I was glad to find that I was able to change it to fit my needs. I just wish that it were written with this in mind, as it feels something like a relic of the past in the current environment of the restart program. Groups are very hit or miss, as they can be very productive and interesting or spiral off into endless tangents based on the clientele and how well the therapist leading it can moderate discussion. The program is also very LGBT friendly, and I met the most supportive and awesome people there, both clients and staff.

The lady that I talked to on the phone Hilarie Cash was very friendly and listened to my problem of having video game addiction, This clinic is very nice on the inside and takes away all your electronics at the door, Even though I never went here. Comprehensive Healthcare is a great company. They helped me since I was young and they're still helping me. They got this winning award therapist Dr. Suzanne Noble who has been working with me, helping me and counseling me and I don't regret any of it. She's done a great job. I am who I am today is because of her, she taught me thousands of things about life, how to handle any situation, how to make it better living for me and many things. I learned a lot from her and I am so very grateful for her and to have her as my therapist. She's awesome! And I love her. All the staff are so professional, helpful and friendly! Very welcoming environment for kids. My son is working with Nishita for about 6 months now and he's made so much progress. He looks forward to coming in to talk to her. And she's great at following up and keeping us up to date with his progress. Highly recommend this sea mar location for children or family therapy.

This place has LITERALLY saved my life! There suboxen program and the MAT Nurse I see , Kozi in Monroe have truly created peace and mental health miracles that I truly never imagined I could have !!! I recommend this program 200% for anyone struggling with drug issues and even mental health issues!!

I came into there program a couple years ago. My aunt life was starting to slip away, she was in a lot of pain all the time. I did want to risk feeling like I might ask her to buy any of her meds so I got into the program. Every was was really great to me. After Cathy pass I rolled off the wagon. They helped me back on. Any and every problem I had they worked w me. I can't say enough good things about the MAT program. Kozi and Dr H. really are amazing people who really care and will try to to do anything possible to help you if you just ask.

Comprehensive Healthcare is a great company. They helped me since I was young and they're still helping me. They got this winning award therapist Dr. Suzanne Noble who has been working with me, helping me and counseling me and I don't regret any of it. She's done a great job. I am who I am today is because of her, she taught me thousands of things about life, how to handle any situation, how to make it better living for me and many things. I learned a lot from her and I am so very grateful for her and to have her as my therapist. She's awesome! And I love her. And I hope she'd counsel me until the day of her retirement and I will really miss her! It's an honor to have her as my therapist, I didn't have that many therapists in my life and she's my longest therapist.

This place fascinates me! I like it to be a small and private facility instead of a large counseling corporation because the recommendations I receive in this place are based on my needs instead of a general recommendation. The appointments are conducted by very well trained professionals, I recommend it to all people, it is an excellent place.

Much better being that it's a small private practice rather than a large corporate owned D & A Assessment center. You will actually receive a recommendation based upon your needs, instead of a recommendation made to make the company money off of you attending unnecessary and costly classes,which of course they conveniently offer. Assessment is conducted in a professional but not impersonal manner. Would recommend Motivations for anyone needing to take a court ordered D & A Assessment.
