Even when I moved to Parkersburg I continued my treatment at Prestera in point pleasant because of the quality of treatment I receive there. My counselor Bethany is absolutely amazing, the person that did my intake was so informative and my psychiatrist Jaime that prescribes my meds is the best psychiatrist I have ever had in the 12 years of treatment that I have had from several different places. She evaluated by asking key questions and engaged with explaining things to me in a way I could understand. She interacted with back and forth conversation and really put a lot of thought into selecting medication that would help me. She took the time to listen to all the meds I had tried in the past that failed and I am so grateful for the effort and level of care she provided to me. The building is old but they are doing renovations on it. But seriously it’s not the building that matters it’s the staff and the quality of care to really help individuals with a workable plan of treatment. They are on the ball and fakers beware. You won’t fool these professionals they know their stuff. Best care I have ever gotten. I’m sad to be moving out of state and I hope I can find a mental health team as dedicated as this one but if it wasn’t for them helping me lay the groundwork for my life I wouldn’t be moving ahead into a functional future. I’m getting married. When I started with Prestera 3 years ago I would have never imagined I could grow this much or move forward in life to this extent to have such a bright future ahead. Building is kept clean and people in the front office are friendly. I think they should expand to have more providers, especially those who are trained to deal with trauma and it's treatments. Psychiatrist is only seen through telehealth and they change them a lot, which makes it hard to trust the new person on the screen. It's usually quick, check up for your symptoms and update of meds if necessary. For the most part, Westbrook is a good provider for the community. Everybody was beyond friendly and helpful and helped me get to where I needed to be in my recovery, Beyond thankful for Kiara, Adele, Amber and Brooke along with my therapist Melody and case manager Sara. honestly it’s really hard to name everybody who helped me it Was unfathomable the amount of love I received my whole time being there. The facility is in a beautiful wooded area with lots of recreational activities from fishing to going to the park and hiking around the lake. I am blessed to live here along side many other recovering addicts.. I have also been blessed to see the parking lots fill up with cars and friends move back to their home towns or new apartments.. They don’t treat you like less of a person because of your “situation” they are respectful and professional. Honestly, if more treatment centers would follow the lead of this one. I probably would have gotten help 10 years ago. If you are 110 percent serious about getting help. And you choose to go the maintenance route. This is the place! I never would have made it if the staff wasn’t as supportive as they are. So thank you to everyone there! They listened to me when absolutely no body else would! They didn’t judge me when absolutely everyone else did! they were kind to me, when no one else was! And they had faith in me, when even I had no faith in myself! It’s changed a lot over the years, but now in 2026 I come to Prestera Health Services for therapy and now they’re like, “hey, want a primary care provider too?” At this point I’m convinced they’re trying to fix all of me and honestly… I respect the ambition 😂 The therapists are amazing though. They’ll sit there all calm while I’m explaining my life like it’s a dramatic series, and then hit me with one question that has me rethinking everything on the drive home like, “well… that was personal.” And now with PCP services?? So I can talk about my feelings and get my blood pressure checked in the same place? Efficient. Convenient. Slightly suspicious how well they understand my needs. Staff is super kind, super patient, and somehow still nice even when I say things like “I think I’m fine now” after one good day. 10/10 would recommend. Came for therapy, stayed because they’re low-key helping me get my life together in every category. Katherine Fiederer 2 months ago I am not nor have I ever been a patient here but my fiancé was in 2021, if anyone has had this similar experience please respond but it seems unlikely. He started January 25,2021 and ended in May of same year. There were mentions of certain persons on day 1 until ending and date and him never thinking I’d know of his conversations in therapy never thought I’d know or find out, but for a reason of probation he needed papers printed out in order to show progress of treatment. He said that upon asking for these documents he believed that what was actually said in therapy was not what had been recorded and transferred into the papers he received back bc in these papers it proved of infidelity. The day he started his therapy a name was released from him and that day just happened to be the same day we had court for the sentencing of my daughters murderer that had only died1 year previous. (Very difficult time) In his defense he stated that they lied (Brightview) and he never said anything about starting a new relationship with this woman bc it’s “not allowed”and that brightview was known for the dislike of some patients to others and that the therapists had been known to falsify statements in patients records out of spite. As you can imagine he is no longer my fiancé nor friend bc it didn’t seem feasible. 11 years together and this one thing tore us apart, please understand my concern. Update im 4 years sober now. 2025 New update ill be 10 years sober in January i couldnt be happier. If your thinking about getting help do it give it a try i no longer wake up in pain or having to make "those" phone calls im able to eat breakfast. I can spend time with the people I love. No more bowing to the porcelain god. I can relax and watch a movie without Cravings every 2 sec. I feel free. Its anonymous btw i love the groups. The doctor wait has gotten so much better. But Dr Morabito was able to leave my stent out this time. I’ve had to have a stent replacement every 3 months since my cancer was found 1-6-2022. I’m so very thankful that Dr Morabito felt like he could leave this stent out now!!! I woke up to a busted lip & I’d like to know how that happened. The nurses and doctors took excellent care of me. This was not continuous , it was a total of 5 stays. The only real complaint I had is the fact that I was on a clear or full liquids diet for most of my stay and being a diabetic there were not a lot of choices for me. It's a place if personal discovery, acceptance and overcoming our self-induced crises with like minded people, staffed by those who did it already. It's not for everyone, but it could be, if you want it. There will never be a perfect rehab. It's addiction treatment. The help is there, again, if you want it and will get up everyday and get it.
