Point Pleasant Nurse Practitioner is a great Doctor. I have been seeing him for 6 + years and he has helped get me on the proper medications. The Doctor is very detailed oriented. I’ve been going to Prestera for 3 years. Even when I moved to Parkersburg I continued my treatment at Prestera in point pleasant because of the quality of treatment I receive there. My counselor Bethany is absolutely amazing, the person that did my intake was so informative and my psychiatrist Jaime that prescribes my meds is the best psychiatrist I have ever had in the 12 years of treatment that I have had from several different places. She evaluated by asking key questions and engaged with explaining things to me in a way I could understand. She interacted with back and forth conversation and really put a lot of thought into selecting medication that would help me. She took the time to listen to all the meds I had tried in the past that failed and I am so grateful for the effort and level of care she provided to me. The building is old but they are doing renovations on it. But seriously it’s not the building that matters it’s the staff and the quality of care to really help individuals with a workable plan of treatment. They are on the ball and fakers beware. You won’t fool these professionals they know their stuff. Best care I have ever gotten. I’m sad to be moving out of state and I hope I can find a mental health team as dedicated as this one but if it wasn’t for them helping me lay the groundwork for my life I wouldn’t be moving ahead into a functional future. I’m getting married. When I started with Prestera 3 years ago I would have never imagined I could grow this much or move forward in life to this extent to have such a bright future ahead. Thank you to the Prestera team for helping me heal.

There's a lot of good people working for the company and they care about their clients. Building is kept clean and people in the front office are friendly. I think they should expand to have more providers, especially those who are trained to deal with trauma and it's treatments. Psychiatrist is only seen through telehealth and they change them a lot, which makes it hard to trust the new person on the screen. It's usually quick, check up for your symptoms and update of meds if necessary. For the most part, Westbrook is a good provider for the community.

If you or someone you know are thinking about going to a treatment center I’m happy to say the staff here have created something special. From the second I called I’ve been treated with love care and empathy by everyone at the facility. Even after completing the 28 program staff members like Joshua Haskiell reach out to check in on me regularly. They don’t make anymore money to do those things they are just genuinely good people with big hearts who have earned my trust. The main guy the director of operations Jacob May was there in the flesh 6 days a week with his door literally open all day. A man in his position doesn’t have to make your problems his problems but that’s exactly what he does for anyone needing help. He personally helped me with seemingly little things but important to me and he didn’t act like they were little he acted like they were important to him. That’s the kind of care you can expect to get at this facility top notch.

Compiling the amount of gratitude I have for this facility into a couple sentences is near impossible. Being surrounded by nursing and clinical staff that did everything within their power to create a safe and peaceful environment was crucial for my first month in sobriety, and Harmony's Walker location made that a reality. Most facilities do not have the staff or patience to go the extra mile and accommodate the spiritual needs that some individuals have, but Harmony did that and some for me. I didn't interact with a single member of their team that didn't genuinely care and show that they had the experience to get me through what I was facing, and when I hit a point that I needed more than mandated groups Josh H.'s kayaking trips and hikes got me through. Feling alone and scared is natural during early sobriety, but being alone doesn't have to be. 💜🐇🐿️🪾

These people saved me! From the doctors, nurses, and counselors. To even the office manager and receptionist. These people really care! They don’t treat you like less of a person because of your “situation” they are respectful and professional. Honestly, if more treatment centers would follow the lead of this one. I probably would have gotten help 10 years ago. If you are 110 percent serious about getting help. And you choose to go the maintenance route. This is the place! I never would have made it if the staff wasn’t as supportive as they are. So thank you to everyone there! They listened to me when absolutely no body else would! They didn’t judge me when absolutely everyone else did! they were kind to me, when no one else was! And they had faith in me, when even I had no faith in myself! I read through the reviews, and I can assure you. Do not base your opinion of this place by the bad ones. If you are truly ready to make a change in your life. I promise, these folks will help you with being successful!

SROs truly gave me a safe friendly environment to grow in my recovery.. it's a drug free environment with friendly management and staff.. that holds me accountable with random drug screens which Im happy to take. Its giving me back my life adulting..Not enough privacy and too much freedom in my early recovery didn't work well with me in my past.. I am blessed to live here along side many other recovering addicts.. I have also been blessed to see the parking lots fill up with cars and friends move back to their home towns or new apartments.. The opportunity to heal here gives me hope to continue on my recovery journey. We do recover!

This center and the workers here, Dr. Brown, have been a resource, a light in the dark, a savior when I could not save myself. The nurses, counselors and secretaries are absolutely wonderful and caring human beings who do not judge but have true servant's hearts. Words can not express how grateful I am for the treatment center and those within it. For those saying that this place is a joke - they've either failed drug screens, broken the rules or not made their intentions clear. I am one among hundreds who have been saved through this center. There will always be people mad that they can't take advantage of workers or use the place for wrong reasons. No one forces you to stay if you don't want to be here. You stay because it saves your life.

I’ve been coming to Prestera since it was Shawnee Hills back in the 90’s. It’s changed a lot over the years, but now in 2026 I come to Prestera Health Services for therapy and now they’re like, “hey, want a primary care provider too?” At this point I’m convinced they’re trying to fix all of me and honestly… I respect the ambition 😂 The therapists are amazing though. They’ll sit there all calm while I’m explaining my life like it’s a dramatic series, and then hit me with one question that has me rethinking everything on the drive home like, “well… that was personal.” And now with PCP services?? So I can talk about my feelings and get my blood pressure checked in the same place? Efficient. Convenient. Slightly suspicious how well they understand my needs. Staff is super kind, super patient, and somehow still nice even when I say things like “I think I’m fine now” after one good day. 10/10 would recommend. Came for therapy, stayed because they’re low-key helping me get my life together in every category.

Amazing service. Great staff. Just yesterday I had an appointment at this clinic. Afterwards I went to Rural king and dropped a salt lick block on my toe. Worried that it might be broken, I returned to the clinic. As a walk in, I asked the clerk if they do X-rays and explained my situation. She said take a sit, they'll be right with you. Not 10 minutes later, I had my X-ray taken and I was out the door heading home. I am very blessed to have access to this clinic. I spent nearly 2 weeks in this hospitol in January and another 3 weeks in March. The nurses and doctors took excellent care of me. This was not continuous , it was a total of 5 stays. The only real complaint I had is the fact that I was on a clear or full liquids diet for most of my stay and being a diabetic there were not a lot of choices for me. My Husband just entered the program today. One would think I wouldn’t have the perspective to give a review but one would be wrong. The staff has been marvelous in every effort to get My Husband a bed and to get him transferred. They’ve helped me every step of the way and I couldn’t be more thankful for each and every one of them.

The complaints about the program from family could potentially be from their master manipulator residents who are looking for a way to justify leaving. I know, I was one accept everyone was done listening by the time i went. The complaints from Alumni,,, Everything changes and at 2:30 a.m., they are asleep, leave them alone. The building isn't supposed to be comfortable. It's not the Hampton. It's a starting point for Recovery. It's a place if personal discovery, acceptance and overcoming our self-induced crises with like minded people, staffed by those who did it already. It's not for everyone, but it could be, if you want it. There will never be a perfect rehab. It's addiction treatment. The help is there, again, if you want it and will get up everyday and get it.

I may have not went through this program but I am friends with everyone that is going through right now. This is where my AA home group is "STW" every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 6 pm. These meetings have helped me grow in my recovery and has helped me find a lot of good friends.

I have a friend who is helped by this facility. They are WONDERFUL about taking your calls and addressing immediate problems. Other places in Charleston (a particular doctor who has since retired) never helped them like this place does. Erin Neff in particular is wonderful and does a beautiful job!

I absolutely love this place! Everyone there genuinely cares about the patients. Dr. Miller is amazing—he doesn’t make you feel like just a number or a paycheck. He truly takes the time to listen and makes you feel heard, even when he’s very busy and has a full schedule. A lot of doctors’ offices can make you feel judged or uncomfortable, but not here. No one judges you, and the entire staff is kind and welcoming. The front desk ladies are awesome, and the therapists are incredible. They make you feel comfortable, like you’re talking to a friend instead of being in a clinical setting. I’ve been through a lot of therapists before, and either they didn’t engage much or we just didn’t click—but that’s not the case here. Gina and Maryellen are both amazing and truly understand what you’re going through. Larry runs great group sessions as well. Honestly, everyone there—even down to the staff handling screenings—is friendly and respectful. It really feels like a team effort, and they all work together to make the place run smoothly. I highly recommend this office!
