Building is kept clean and people in the front office are friendly. I think they should expand to have more providers, especially those who are trained to deal with trauma and it's treatments. Psychiatrist is only seen through telehealth and they change them a lot, which makes it hard to trust the new person on the screen. It's usually quick, check up for your symptoms and update of meds if necessary. For the most part, Westbrook is a good provider for the community. Everybody was beyond friendly and helpful and helped me get to where I needed to be in my recovery, Beyond thankful for Kiara, Adele, Amber and Brooke along with my therapist Melody and case manager Sara. honestly it’s really hard to name everybody who helped me it Was unfathomable the amount of love I received my whole time being there. The facility is in a beautiful wooded area with lots of recreational activities from fishing to going to the park and hiking around the lake. I couldn’t be more thankful for my experience there and them helping me get my aftercare Set up so I can have the opportunity to live again. They don’t treat you like less of a person because of your “situation” they are respectful and professional. Honestly, if more treatment centers would follow the lead of this one. I probably would have gotten help 10 years ago. If you are 110 percent serious about getting help. And you choose to go the maintenance route. This is the place! I never would have made it if the staff wasn’t as supportive as they are. So thank you to everyone there! They listened to me when absolutely no body else would! They didn’t judge me when absolutely everyone else did! they were kind to me, when no one else was! And they had faith in me, when even I had no faith in myself! Update im 4 years sober now. 2025 New update ill be 10 years sober in January i couldnt be happier. If your thinking about getting help do it give it a try i no longer wake up in pain or having to make "those" phone calls im able to eat breakfast. I can spend time with the people I love. No more bowing to the porcelain god. I can relax and watch a movie without Cravings every 2 sec. I feel free. Its anonymous btw i love the groups. The doctor wait has gotten so much better. I was treated for sepsis. Never had this level of care before. Five stars Jason 2 months ago I spent nearly 2 weeks in this hospitol in January and another 3 weeks in March. The nurses and doctors took excellent care of me. This was not continuous , it was a total of 5 stays. The only real complaint I had is the fact that I was on a clear or full liquids diet for most of my stay and being a diabetic there were not a lot of choices for me. I kept my door shut always because of noise so I never heard anything. Thank you for much for your excellent care of me. My husband had a motorcycle accident yesterday and they had him in the back in seconds. They were prepared and were all taking his blood, had him hooked up to record his vitals and a ekg with mins. Then within no time at all took him to get a ct scan. They were on top of everything! They were all professional and so nice. We have never been treated that good at any other hospital. I live out of state. I have been here with him in ICU for 3 days. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care he is receiving. Every one of his nurses and doctors have been so attentive and caring. The staff in the hallway and desks are truly there to help you every way the can. The entire surgical team, recovery nurses and staff we're so genuinely passionate, caring, attentive, and as busy as they were still managed to stay on good time schedule. In the beginning of us going here my husband struggled with sobriety. I always felt comfortable talking to Becky about any of my concerns when it came to him. She knew I just wanted him to be sober with me. They never gave up on him & now he’s going on 2 years sober. We both love our therapists and feel like they genuinely care about us. The office staff is very courteous. The medical assistant that does your vitals, drug test, etc as well as takes you back to the room to see the doctor is always nice and well mannered. My doctor always listens to me and any problems that may be going on in my life at the time and she always expresses concern for whatever I may be talking to her about. I am completely satisfied with this place and the level of care I have always been given. I’m not going to disclose my doctors name but I do recommend Hopewell Place to anyone that is interested in receiving care for their mental health. Even when I moved to Parkersburg I continued my treatment at Prestera in point pleasant because of the quality of treatment I receive there. My counselor Bethany is absolutely amazing, the person that did my intake was so informative and my psychiatrist Jaime that prescribes my meds is the best psychiatrist I have ever had in the 12 years of treatment that I have had from several different places. She evaluated by asking key questions and engaged with explaining things to me in a way I could understand. She interacted with back and forth conversation and really put a lot of thought into selecting medication that would help me. She took the time to listen to all the meds I had tried in the past that failed and I am so grateful for the effort and level of care she provided to me. The building is old but they are doing renovations on it. But seriously it’s not the building that matters it’s the staff and the quality of care to really help individuals with a workable plan of treatment. They are on the ball and fakers beware. You won’t fool these professionals they know their stuff. Best care I have ever gotten. I’m sad to be moving out of state and I hope I can find a mental health team as dedicated as this one but if it wasn’t for them helping me lay the groundwork for my life I wouldn’t be moving ahead into a functional future. I’m getting married. When I started with Prestera 3 years ago I would have never imagined I could grow this much or move forward in life to this extent to have such a bright future ahead.
