The staff at the clinic at the most are good. They do try as best they can. Unfortunately with all the cuts and changes it makes their work more difficult and it makes it more difficult for the veterans who depend on them. Again. The staff no complaints. The processes have become more cumbersome painful. I almost wish somebody would step in and do something good for the VA for a change

We had an amazing experience at Bayhealth Kent county labor and delivery and postpartum units. Suzanne in L&D was so kind and caring. You could tell how much she truly loves her job. Her presence, education, and attitude is the reason why mom and our baby were safe and had a great birthing experience. The postpartum nurses and aides were so attentive and gentle with mom and baby. Nurse Mary went above and beyond for us and helped explain things to relieve our worries. She does an exceptional job in every way! Other nurses that will also hold a special place in our hearts because of their kindness on postpartum are nurse sarah, nurse Audrey, nurse jamina, and nurse Sam. Thank you all for everything you do. You all are so special to us and I’m sure many others.

I arrived at the HOG in April 2024. I was broken, desperate, and hopeless. No end in sight. Upon arrival I was welcomed with open arms by the staff. Letting me know there is hope and we can recover. My counselor was absolutely the best. Opening my eyes to the issues at hand and why I turned to alcohol. I was offered the chance to go to the HOG two years before I actually went. Best decision I have ever made. The HOG saved my life, and opened my eyes to a life without alcohol. I will be celebrating 2 years sobriety in a few weeks. Could not possibly be any happier. Life is good. Thank you to the HOG, all the medical staff, all the counselors, administrators, and the whole staff of individuals that keep the place running. So many great people that (Big Al, Bobby, Kelly to name a few) that there is no way to thank them all. If you need help this is the place to go!!!

Feel you should know the women’s center(ms Amy, Dr Dunham), Dental (Courtney, Donna - Dr Nick), greeting, patient advocate is actually real if you want/need communication through them is better then the general staff cause they handle business the actual hospital side is in and out at a beautiful pace it’s worth the drive rather than public hospital for sure very friendly staff. I highly recommend Maryville to anyone who is seeking treatment for drugs or alcohol. They have saved my life and I can't thank them enough for that. From the wonderful ladies in admissions, the nurses who care and loved each one of the clients and the outstanding CIA's who go above and beyond their job duties to help us with whatever we needed, and the counselors who show love and understanding to each individual girls there. Miss Denise and Miss Sherri- I will never forget how much you both have done for me. I will never forget you and im so happy to have you wonderful ladies there for the woman coming in. They don't ever treat you as a druggie but as a equal with so much love and understanding. They know what it's like to be where we were before seeking treatment and genuinely want to see everyone of the girls make it. I will be back in 2 years to tell my story. Thank you all so much for being on my side and wanting us to make it. I love you all so much and have the utmost respect for all of you.

I did the 28 day inpatient treatment. My experience was outstanding! My counselor, Gia, was a perfect "fit" & was extremely knowledgeable. The CIT staff were all helpful & understanding as well as provided fun activities. The only problem I experienced was the meals not always being warm however the food was great. I highly recommend anyone who wants to get clean & sober to go there...it's changed my life. Thank you Maryville-Williamstown/Kell Womens unit.
