I have all good things to say about this program. I was not planning on continuing treatment in New Jersey, but the director of the program came and talked to me in detox and explained the benefits and calmed my anxiety about the whole process. He told me about the women's house manager, Val, and he said there is no one else he would recommend to take care of his clients. He said that if he could send everyone to live under Val, he would. I am happy to say that even that was an understatement for Val. Big personality, big passion for recovery and so much love for her girls. From the day I stepped onto Val's doorstep, I felt welcomed, valued and truly cared for. From the beginning she displayed confidence in me and a real desire for me to be there. Val is the reason that house is a home, and for a woman like me, who literally lost everything this year, that made a world of difference. The unity and sisterhood I experienced at sobriety solutions sober living reminded me that connection is the antidote to addiction. Thank you Val, and Mike, and all of sobriety solutions staff! You carried me through a very difficult time, away from my family and in a delicate emotional state. You continue to text and check on me, celebrating my wins and helping me through triggers and tough moments. I am proud to be an alumni of this program and would highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about getting sober and finding a new way to live.

I can’t say enough good things about our house manager, Val. She truly went above and beyond every single day to make sure we were cared for and supported. Her dedication, patience, and compassion never went unnoticed. She didn’t just do her job—she genuinely cared, and you could feel it in everything she did. Whether it was checking in on us individually, handling things behind the scenes, or just being there with a kind word or a listening ear, she made a real difference in our lives. I’m so grateful for everything she did and the love she showed us. She’s one of those people you don’t forget! Thank you Val!

When one decides to seek therapy, there’s so many emotions that run through your spirit about it. Being vulnerable, being transparent, combatting what we may view as weakness, and fear of facing the unknown face first and healing! I struggled with this myself, I even had a panic attack prior to coming to my first session with Dr. LaRhonda Harmon from the very first session saw me when I was so invisible to even myself… I was a battered spirit and even through my imposter syndrome of my own talents, she helps me see me for me through my own eyes. I never saw myself in therapy, heck I thought I was fine until I needed it! I prayed and asked God(for who He is to me to show me my therapist) God led me to My Dr. LaRhonda and she’s been part of my life ever since. It’s been now 5 years of consistent therapy with Dr. LaRhonda, my life is forever elevated. I’m a strong confident extraordinary artist black woman ! And I can say that with confidence because the work Dr. LaRhonda has me doing. She’s no, “yes man” therapist , she’s the real deal ! If you want to heal whatever it is and you stumbled across this woman, it wasn’t by accident, you were brought here on purpose by the Holy Spirit ! THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO BOOK ! Thank you Dr. LaRhonda for EVERYTHING

Dover is the 249th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $54136. This is comparable to the average cost of $53690 for addiction treatment in Delaware and lower than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Dover vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Dover. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Dover that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Dover.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Dover, with 8 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 7 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 5 drug rehabs.
Dover has the 216th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Kent county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Dover or Kent county as a whole.
In 2023, Dover had the 151st highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 468 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Dover. All values are per 100,000 population.
