Capstone Treatment Center is a comprehensive addiction treatment center that caters to young men up to the age of 18. Services incl | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Capstone has been a defining part of our family’s journey during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. As a mom of a 16-year-old struggling with substance use and mental health, I had done the research, read the books, and tried the therapy—but Capstone brought something different that we truly needed. I truly believe God led me to this place, and He continues to guide our journey every step of the way.
The counseling process is exceptional. Our counselor, Matthew, has been both professional and deeply personal in the way he supports our family. My son connected with him in a way that isn’t easy for teenage boys, and that relationship has made a lasting impact that continues into aftercare.
Family Week was one of the most powerful experiences I’ve had as a parent. It gave my son a voice and gave me insight into myself that I had never seen before—even after years of therapy. It completely changed how I show up for him.
I was also struck by Adrian Hickmon’s leadership and presence. From the moment I walked in and he knew my name and my son, I felt seen. The wisdom he shared—and the time he personally took to answer my questions—was unlike anything I’ve encountered elsewhere. His perspective on focusing on small, steady progress has stayed with me and continues to guide how I support my son.
For the first time in years, I see real hope. We are communicating better, growing closer, and moving in the right direction. This journey is far from over, but I trust that God is continuing to work in my son’s life. Capstone helped shift the trajectory—and that means everything.

Our son is currently enrolled at Capstone. It's difficult to put into words how amazing this place is. The level of excellence, from the therapists to the support staff, is second to none. Be advised, they do not mess around. The commitment level they require from the family is high, and for good reason. I've never experienced "tough love" like they put forth. I went here for a few months for help with tapering off of benzos that I had been prescribed for anxiety. I was having a lot of trouble or with withdrawal symptoms and wanted to make sure I was tapering the correct way. I met with Brian a couple times and he was very nice. The only negative I have is he did a drug test on me without disclosing that I would get a bill. Now I have a $180 bill to test for drugs that I was prescribed. It would have been nice if the fact that I would have to pay so much for a drug test was disclosed before taking it, and if I had been given an option to opt out.

I would just like to share my experience about Natural State and the guy Michael who manages the sober living houses. If it was not for him my son would be dead. He told me from the beginning that if my son was willing to go to any lengths to change his life then he would have a chance. I almost enabled my son to his grave by not listening to Michael and taking his suggestions. Today my son has a little over a year sober and is a new person. He also suggested that I go to Alanon meetings which I have been for a year and the relief that I get from these meetings are priceless. My son was making every excuse in the world to me and I was believing him instead of someone who has walked in his shoes. Again thank you Michael and Natural State Recovery.

I just came home from here 2 weeks ago. This place is AMAZING!! I didn't want to go at first, I read the reviews here, on day 3 I was finally settled in and knew I couldn't have been at a better place. The staff is exceptional!! It is a very intense program, but it's wonderful. Classes are 7 days a week, 8am-7pm, lots of breaks in between, plus lunch and dinner breaks. The food was exceptional! You definitely will not go hungry here!! When it was my day to go, part of me didn't want to leave, I had made great friends there and this place had become my safe place. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing help. This place will save your life if you let them!!

I was in the Autumn unit. All of the staff, nurses, and techs did everything in their power to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. The doctors came to do wellness checks everyday. I was able to fully open up and be completely honest without fear of being judged or ridiculed. The first morning I was there I had a panic attack and Laila held my hands and walked me through it. She even cut up my food into small pieces so I could eat since I had recently had a dental surgery. Nurse Brooke came and sat in my room with me when I said I was scared to be alone and tried to redirect my brain from the anxiety by talking to me about family and offering to play whatever music I wanted. Carol was bubbly and positive with a smile on her face while trying to take care of all the patients requests and needs. Tyrek was incredible each and everyday, making me laugh with his positive and funny attitude even after a 13 hour shift. Stephen was amazing and busted his butt everyday, staying late when other staff didn't show up for shifts while keeping a smile on his face along with making everyone around him smile. I don't think I even saw Stephen sit down at all. Destiny was amazing and held a music therapy group for the clients that was so much fun. The dietician Rebekah was so helpful with any questions I had even when she was overwhelmed with the workload she had. Rhonda and Griselda are two of the sweetest women I've ever met, being patient, caring and kind while gathering and administering each patient's medications. Shi'nez and Iesha were so sweet and supportive. Abby was amazing and so great at showing the patients new coping skills. Shaq and Derek were awesome and hilarious, making the days more enjoyable. Dr. Downes checked in on me everyday, along with Nurse Reid, and they both made me feel heard, validated, and valued. I could feel how much they understood the battle that was going on in my brain and that they genuinely cared and worked fast and hard to help correct the chemical imbalance from the medications I was on. If I could give a 6th star, I absolutely would. I 1000% recommend Conway wellness center if you are struggling and need help. They truly care and listen and do whatever they can to help you get back to feeling like yourself. I left the facility feeling like I had my spark back and have continued treatment in the outpatient facility next door, which is also absolutely incredible. I truly love each and every one of the staff members from the Autumn unit and the outpatient therapy facility. They absolutely made a huge impact on my life and I am grateful to each and every one of them. If I could go back just to visit with the staff, I totally would because they are just that amazing.

Seems to me that the only ones that actually really tried to help me. The VA physicians are primary care administration office there has not really done me very good Justice I filled out so many transfers to Conway and only one person actually found my paperwork but I never took you back a hold of her the other people like to talk to would always tell me we don't know what you're talking about we don't have anything in your information but I've done it so many times and if he's on call me remember when I walked up to them filled out the paperwork for transfer a primary care and then they faxed it remember that so I'm giving him an awesome review cuz I just been frustrating sometimes to not getting the right help in the answers that I needed I understand North Little Rock's a lot larger facilities a lot busier and you probably have not as much resources to help much help in resources the main VA needs reevaluate the situation there in North Little Rock and give me the resources that they need so they can complete the job properly my complaint is not against the people it's the whole administration of the VA of not doing their job not passing all the information or just put it off on someone else to do and just forgetting about it that is so sad that they do that to some of those veterans you know I think it is very good and awesome but I do have these dinners weak spots if they need to strengthen

I was here about a year ago for 7 days and it was honestly a good experience for me. I made good friends and i ended up leaving with a good state of mind. The bad parts of it is I only did group therapy once and seen my therapist twice the whole time. The food isn’t the best but if you let them know they can put you on a special diet. The rooms can get super hot at night. That was the worst part for sure. Mrs Val is the absolute best teacher there.

As much as people share their bad experiences and reviews about this place it changed my life. When I was 12 I was having bad anger issues and suicidal thoughts to the point I was scared of the harm I was causing to not only myself but others. I came here and I asked a staff member the fastest way to get out of there cuz I was scared. He told me to just cooperate with the doctors and therapists and tell them exactly how I feel so they could help me. I seen and did some crazy shit while in there, but all in all I came out as a complete bettered version of myself and I wish I could tell the kids in there the same thing I was told. Don't fight it, just let them inside your head and take the medicine they prescribe you and it will change your life.

After having two tears, and a detached retina surgery, my eye developed a cataract. The cataract surgery at Conway Regional went off without a hitch. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hospital was clean, and the surgery was completely painless. I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again.

I began seeing a counselor after I had back surgery in 2022. About a year later I had to relocate to Lonoke County. I was experiencing complicated grief and depression and needed someone to listen to what I had to say instead of just telling me what to do.
I started seeing Shannan at Arisa, several months ago. Shannan, who was young enough to be my granddaughter, had the ability to help me feel better after each session. Unfortunately, Shannan went to work at another clinic in Little Rock a few weeks ago. Her move seems like another loss and now I only hope I can see another counselor who will give me the attention that Shannan did.
My experience with Shannan at Arisa was very positive. I’m hoping to find another counselor who can continue helping me with my grief and depression the way she did.
