Emily Nalwenski and Christian the amazing ER nurse that we worked with made our time in the hospital during a terrible situation more comforting with their attentive, respectful bedside manner. Although it was such a scary experience, these two individuals offered professional, comforting, respectful recommendations and treatment when my family was in need. I entered the Grace House in October of 2020, literally on the brink of losing my three beautiful daughters forever. I was born into a very dysfunctional family, was a victim of domestic violence almost my entire life, and eventually became a substance abuser. I barely survived two unintentional overdoses during the summer and still my life continued to spiral further down than it ever had before. Finally, I accepted the fact that I needed to enter treatment not only for the chance to get my children back but also just to stay alive. When I walked in the door I felt completely defeated, overwhelmed, and anxious yet I knew I was in the right place. Slowly, with the help of the caring staff and hard work from all involved, each day became a little bit easier. They advocated for me when it came to having my children placed with me in the program. The support and encouragement my girls and I received was second to none. We were given the tools we'd always needed to live a better life. The staff as well as the other women and children in the program became "our family". Because of the work I was able to do on myself and the insight i gained from therapy and daily groups I was able to take my voice back and set clear boundaries, something I had never successfully done throughout my life. My girls also learned so many important things such as it's okay to feel, you can restart your day at any point, you are unique, communication is key, laughter is the best medicine, help others, be grateful, and so many more. I graduated in June and moved into my own apartment in July with my three girls. Life is still life, there are still good days and bad days but thanks to this program I am better equipped to handle those not so good days. This program is a life changer if you are willing to put in the work,

I have gone to crisis services here through CSO, first in Florence and now to the new location in Northampton. The clinicians who worked with me at every step of the way were just incredibly compassionate and understanding of my situation, even though I was obviously in a heightened emotional state. Never met more friendly and respectful people in mental health care. What they can provide is limited by resources but their attitudes make me feel responsible and more relaxed about taking and staying on my medicine. I wish I could start seeing a therapist but there is a long wait. There are peer support groups in the meantime to help me that they provide.

Get it out, get it off your chest and seek some friendly advice from Raymond Landry. Ray a great guy who for me, is not just someone whom I label “therapist or counselor” in my head, I consider him more as a friend who has never steered me wrong. Ray always treats me with the upmost respect. He is a well versed, well educated, intelligent individual, who listens very well. He is a down to Earth guy who definitely know’s his craft. Personally, I always feel better, and have something to think about when I leave his office. Savida-Health has a great staff. Everybody’s so nice. Savida-Health is a no pressure facility offering you the help you need on a variety of different levels. Whether it is MAT you seek, therapy, or other assistance and support, Savida-Health has got you covered. If you are in the market for a new therapist, I highly recommend Raymond Landry. Savida-Health is a no pressure, safe, secure, private facility with an outstanding staff. Sometimes it’s nice to get feedback from another person outside of your circle, & Ray is more than qualified to help you. If for whatever reason he is all booked up, there are other both male and female counselors available who can help. Located at 50 Union Street, West Springfield, MA. 🙂✌️☮️.

I have been in and out of the hospital frequently in the past few years and am very happy with the Baystate Franklin Medical Ctr. The staff are friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and professional. I know that when I am there, I am in the best place possible, no matter what is happening.
The only drawback I experienced was a very long wait in the ER of three and a half hours. I was unable to sit comfortably due to my injury, and there is no accommodation for that scenario in their waiting room.
I do not hold the center responsible for the wait. It just seems the community has grown larger than what the hospital was originally designed to support.
