This place got me sober. And has been the single best treatment center out of about 50-60 inpatient IOP php and detox level centers. These guys care and have created a community that is unbreakable. I graduated last year and STILL SHOW UP at least a couple times a week to say hi. They’ve never told me I can’t stay even tho I’m not part of the program technically anymore. I love empower and they will forever be the reason I am above ground.

Empower Health Group totally changed the game for me. Their program didn’t just throw me some generic advice; it handed me the real tools I needed to tackle my substance use disorder head-on. I’ve fought hard, but with their support, I’ve found a fierce love for myself again. And the best part? It’s not just about me anymore; my family is on the mend too. If you’re serious about making a change and want a no-nonsense approach, this is the place to go. Empower Health Group isn’t just a program; it’s a lifeline! My family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I have had good and bad experiences at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. It depends on who your doctor is in the ED. I've spent as long as three months as a patient at Cooley. I was lucky enough to end up on North 3. The staff was great and did all they could to take care of me. West 5 was ok, but I was disappointed that when I fell with my rollator they didn't do anything to make sure that I was ok.

I entered the Grace House in August of 2021. Not only were the girls there so welcoming & helpful, the staff always went above & beyond (usually). I entered the Grace House in October of 2020, literally on the brink of losing my three beautiful daughters forever. I was born into a very dysfunctional family, was a victim of domestic violence almost my entire life, and eventually became a substance abuser. I barely survived two unintentional overdoses during the summer and still my life continued to spiral further down than it ever had before. Finally, I accepted the fact that I needed to enter treatment not only for the chance to get my children back but also just to stay alive. When I walked in the door I felt completely defeated, overwhelmed, and anxious yet I knew I was in the right place. Slowly, with the help of the caring staff and hard work from all involved, each day became a little bit easier. They advocated for me when it came to having my children placed with me in the program. The support and encouragement my girls and I received was second to none. We were given the tools we'd always needed to live a better life. The staff as well as the other women and children in the program became "our family". Because of the work I was able to do on myself and the insight i gained from therapy and daily groups I was able to take my voice back and set clear boundaries, something I had never successfully done throughout my life. My girls also learned so many important things such as it's okay to feel, you can restart your day at any point, you are unique, communication is key, laughter is the best medicine, help others, be grateful, and so many more. I graduated in June and moved into my own apartment in July with my three girls. Life is still life, there are still good days and bad days but thanks to this program I am better equipped to handle those not so good days. This program is a life changer if you are willing to put in the work,

I have gone to crisis services here through CSO, first in Florence and now to the new location in Northampton. The clinicians who worked with me at every step of the way were just incredibly compassionate and understanding of my situation, even though I was obviously in a heightened emotional state. Never met more friendly and respectful people in mental health care. What they can provide is limited by resources but their attitudes make me feel responsible and more relaxed about taking and staying on my medicine. I’ve had a very positive experience with this clinic. From the beginning, the staff made me feel welcomed, respected, and supported in my recovery journey. The counselors are compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about your well-being. They take the time to listen and tailor the sessions to your needs rather than just following a script. The medical staff is attentive and explains everything clearly, making sure I always felt informed and comfortable with my treatment plan. Appointments are well-organized, and I rarely had to wait long. Communication was smooth, and I always felt like I could ask questions or express concerns without judgment. I had recently visited on October 17th, 2025. I had a viral infection that was later determined after testing. I had seen many folks with many much more serious cases, so I asked to please wait in the waiting area until final decision where I should go. I believed to have had 3 X-rays, Strep culture, COVID 19 test and other rapid testing. I will believe a few other times I visited that things were going to be a smooth advance to the actual unit. I had also back in 2019 being under a Section 12 care was treated without prejudice and utmost respect. The loyalty and trust from all the employees were great and that I wouldn't seem to have a rough interaction. I wish to be there on certain circumstances differently, but I have not had Ever bad interactions at BSF! Even during other hospitals being out of operations and BSF being over packed with clients and patienta they managed to handle everyone with care, respect and patience. If your from the Greenfield area this would be the location to go for emergency medical needs.

I just got out, I was sicker than I thought. Im going to honestly say I have mixed feelings it really is hit or miss at this hospital. Respectfully I can say they are very short staffed, and extremely overwhelmed. I was in for 2 days found an abcess and pin hole in my intestines they treated me to the best of their ability they were honest but towards the end the vibe was off. And yes they definitely want to make sure you aren't there pill seeking. Not everyone is a junkie and yes i did feel that i was screened for some reason.People like me dont look sick because of high pain tolerances I live in pain. However you have to give credit were it has been earned the unit nursing staff on 1 floor was and is excellent they listen they care.kaylee,shana,serenety,brenda,michelle,levy,CT. I forgit your name and everyone else I couldnt remember thank you. Room#6 corner suite. So in the end we are in control of ourselves if your sick and you need the ER go because if I need them again I will take my chances. Sometimes you have to make the best out of a bad situation that's just life.

This BHN facility has its ups and downs to it. From May 2018, to current day! I have experienced so much over the years. From being a Co-Ed Detox up until 2022. My last time being in this building in 2021, I'm now a resident of Connections. My caseworker Alex is very reasonable and understanding. The program director Jen is a wonderfully kind and cooperative person. This is a locked facility, where you have to be let on or off the unit. The different paths in recovery are accepted. There is from a structured guidance program here. 3 beds in each room, 3 meals provided daily, and staff (Recovery Specialists & Clinical Counselors) that will provide help/assistance/resources. I've been here in this new program for a week now and have adjusted very well. My future here will be very conducive to my recovery, I also believe that I can and will be very successful. The downsides here are only, grievance forms aren't responded to timely. Your not allowed to bring food or beverages on to unit. Very

If you saw a red and black Phoenix bird drawing, that was me (: I miss the staff & all the people I’ve met there. I’d recommend this program to any and every person with addiction! If you have a problem with this program then probably you out to stop running your own program!
