Also "Barbara" on the phone call was very truthful and it was as she said it would be like. Compassion is a really good facility. It helped me get my mental right also they help to teach me better and more fishing and coping skills for myself. happy HP is where I learned that I am worthy and I do love myself that I am capable of being loved and giving love. All the techs are good but my personal favorites are Dustin, Brock, jojo, and Jennifer. These techs are top tier. But besides some of the BS between clients from time to time it’s a good facility.

Caron Renaissance was a game-changer for my son as a patient and just as importantly for me as his mother. He went there after a 29 day residential program for addiction issues. It was at Renaissance that he learned to take responsibility for his actions. He blossomed when he got his first job while still in treatment. Previously he thought he would never get a job because he had never had one. His self-esteem established itself with the help of Renaissance. I, in turn, with the gentle persuasion of my Caron family therapists, learned to step back, and let my son figure out how to do things on his own. In order for him to become an adult I needed to stop rescuing him. My previously well-intentioned actions had been feeding into his sense of entitlement. Caron is an exceptional place that has the power to change your life if you’re willing to put in the work. The facilities, resources, and - most importantly - the staff are truly world-class.
While going to Caron wasn’t necessarily my choice, I’m beyond thankful for my time there and for the people I met - especially Taylor and David, whom I continue to work with a year after I completing the PHP program at Caron.
I don’t want to minimize anyone’s experience or opinion, but I firmly believe that any negative reviews should be taken with extreme caution by prospective clients or families. For those who are serious about their recovery and committed to lasting change, Caron is the place to make it happen.

For me, Caron was a life changing experience. Once I was fully ready to accept help for my addiction, Caron was there to help lead me on the right path. With their clinical team, I worked on myself and worked with my family to undercover underlying issues that contributed to my addiction. I was able to build new relationships in early recovery with some like minded people in the alumni program. Now, I get to be one of those alumni to others new to recovery. If you want somewhere to really concentrate on you getting sober and getting to the root go there. Carissa and Jess are 2 Techs that actually know how to cater and nurture your recovery. Our daughter is there for 3 weeks now and is showing more signs of improvement than we saw in years. Dr. Moran and the team really know what they are doing and have tools and desire to make a difference. Plus now we are more equipped then ever to keep on track for recovery once she comes back home, thanks to all education we received from FCRF. I finally have hope! I know if you are reading these reviews, you are desperate, same as I was a month ago. You don’t need to be, don’t wait! I recommend this place without reservation!
Update: it has been almost 2 months after my daughter left FCFR and it’s the healthiest 2 months we’ve seen in a long while. She hasn’t used any substances, found a part time job which she loves, graduated her failing semester with As and Bs and about to get her drivers license! It’s not all rainbows and butterflies, we still need to work hard daily on keeping things on track, but now the hope is getting more real every day!
10 months update: FCFR has truly been a game changer for us! Now my daughter is just a difficult (normal) teenager, but the disaster and desperation is so far behind, it’s almost hard to recall how it has been. Now she is committed to getting better and going on with her life, and that’s the most important part. Of course there will be ups and downs, but the terror of being constantly afraid for her and of her is far behind and I never ever want to go back. If we ever go back (it gives me anxiety to even write those words), we know who to call.
One last thing. There are a lot of comments about lack of tender, love and care at the facility. TLC FCFR does not provide indeed. But they provide something better: treatment THAT WORKS. I’m sure every story is different, but I’m also sure a lot of people have experienced the same thing I did: TLC does not treat psychiatric illness.

The police ministry at this center has been a blessing for my life. The guest speakers they bring in every month have nurtured me spiritually and everyone at this place is so welcoming and kind. The head minister Jorge is a great man of God and he works very hard to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is so wonderful.

My first time at William King VA Clinic was almost 9 years ago. Then there were barely any veterans working there. And alot of the civilians don't know what its like to be on the other side of the counter. Therefore, many of them are not well equipped to assist or even help us.
But over the last 5 years I have seen big changes and the two folks up front at Eligibility are always so kind, understanding and effective. That sets the tone truly for almost every experience ai have had from the coffee shop woman to a Mai tenance specialist that helps with directions to where I need to be. I truly love this location and have only briefly been to Miami VA but I have to say as one of the more cozy locations, Bill Kling is dope! I got me a free loaf of French bread and was loving it!

I am new to utilizing VA services and had heard nightmares about people using the VA. However; I can say in my three appointments I have had at this facility, the service and experience has been outstanding. Appointments happen on time, the doctors and staff are extremely friendly and I would give them 10 Stars if I could. I have mostly dealt with the Audiology department, but overall GREAT EXPERIENCE!
