I’ve had a couple of experiences with Northpoint Loveland and my earlier experiences were quite positive. My latest experience in July was somewhat the opposite. So I’ll give it four stars for past performance, but they really need to make treatment and the patients their first priority and not making money. It was overcrowded with patients, and there were not enough staff to take care of all these people’s needs.

InnerBalance is a hidden gem among inpatient rehabs. I struggled with addiction for many years and went to several inpatient rehabs. Nothing was working. I was physically ill by the time I reached InnerBalance, with frequent seizures, low platelets and liver disease. I was in so much emotional pain and despair. InnerBalance gave me a lifeline. What made it so phenomenal, were the people who worked there, many of whom are still there today. There was an emphasis on nutrition and correcting imbalances in my body. I was allowed to go out at times to explore Loveland. That kind of normalcy and trust was meaningful. I was given support through group and individual therapy, as well as a nutritionist and life coach. The organic meals were very nourishing and the education around how to care for my mental and physical health were invaluable. They encouraged me to go to sober living after I left InnerBalance, which made a huge difference in maintaining my sobriety by giving my body and spirit more time to heal. I relapsed several times within that year, but because of the genuine support I had received from the counselors at InnerBalance, I did not continue in any of my relapses. I now have six and a half years of sobriety. InnerBalance gave me the support I needed to let go of what was holding me back from sobriety. I learned how to love myself in a way I never had before. It was just the beginning of my journey, but their program and everyone there, had a ripple effect that changed the way I approached early sobriety, and even the way I still approach my health. I hope anyone who is struggling with addiction finds their way to the wonderful people at InnerBalance.

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews, because I love this place. I have been seeing my current therapist here for a couple years now and have seriously experienced a complete turn around in my life in every single area. I cannot recommend this place enough. first mental hospital iv ever gone to before and i really liked it. at first i was really scared and i would cry everyday and i wouldn’t eat but the staff would try to be really supportive and try there best to get me to eat and drink water and one time i had ate macaroni and this one staff clapped for me cus she knew i wasn’t eating i was to scared and depressed at that. and i had a lot of support definitely 10/10 i honestly miss mountain crest so much, also met so many kids there that were so chill and we just understood each other besides this one girl i didn’t like but anyways yea. mountain crest is cool the staff there are really sweet and nice at least for me i felt like they cared and gave me the support i needed while being there never judged anything i said just support and advise.

Recently a family member received services at the newly located PVH behavioral management unit. The staff is excellent. Case managers Hannah and Ryan were in contact with me frequently to give updates and help in any way they could. They obviously cared and worked with our family according to goals and assistance contacting outside agencies and placement for transfer. The whole team from visitor’s desk to the Drs is top notch.

The Jacob Center does not take their place in the community lightly. Coaches are trained and knowledgeable in subjects including trust intervention, resiliency, and trauma. Meetings between youths and families use community involvement to naturally encourage mindfulness and resiliency. When I first came to this class I was terrified. I sat in the back watching from a distance. I didn’t want to participate, afraid I would be treated poorly. With this said, Anne held my hand and lifted me up. She is an Angel sent from heaven! I truly believe God placed me with her. I first arrived at Serenity House in 2010 and had 4 previous Sober Living House experiences with which to compare it to, and Serenity House won. I ended up staying there for 6 months when I decided that I was fit for reentering normal society, but I relapsed quickly and hightailed it back to a sober room there. It’s easy to blame everyone and everything for a relapse except yourself, and I started to blame Serenity House for drinking again, but as my mind cleared I realized that the blame lies exclusively with the disease and me. During the numerous times I’ve enthusiastically moved back to the Serenity House after making my life an alcoholic mess, I’ve always found it to be a safe, clean, and very tolerable place to begin or continue my recovery. The rules and responsibilities are sensible and reasonable. Presiding over a couple dozen addicts and/or alcoholics is like herding cats – it’s not always easy. Yes, it is a for-profit business, and yes, kudos to the owners for having a safe and comfortable place for us to get our act together.

So I was sent here after 2 DUIs. My husband died and I couldn't handle it! I did the first round of classes but they never helped me. Then they finally gave me a therapist. She was awesome. I went to the alcohol classes but it was Jessica that saved me! I felt suicidal and nothing to live for..I just didn't care after my husband died. This place saved my life! My son has been coming here since October and he has made such amazing progress since then. Before coming, life was really hard to manage with the new diagnosis of autism for my son. He is nonverbal and was very hard to teach or maintain his attention. Since coming here, he is starting to Find ways to communicate, we are able to engage with him, He is generally excited to come every morning and see all his therapist.
