I can't rate this place high enough. I've been coming here for treatment for about 2.5 years now, and have gotten great treatment the entire time. The staff cares and genuinely wants to help. I had to go through a couple therapists to get to my current one, but she is an absolute godsend and I'm so incredibly thankful I was able to become her patient. Her name is Kristin, and she's absolutely fantastic. I always know I can reach out to her and get excellent advice. She actually took the time to work her way in through my incredibly thick walls I've built around myself, and put in the effort to actually understand me and how I work. She's never made me feel bad for anything, and knows how to push me to saying/doing what I need to. She's actually made me want to go to therapy. My biggest praise to sing for her is from earlier today, which spurred me to write this review. She just called me, from home, ON HER DAY OFF, to check on me because of an email I sent her last night. She took the time out of her day, unpaid, to call me and make sure that I'm okay and that I'm safe. I'll never forget that.

River Rock is a special place to be part of, show up at and grow within. I lived the Adventure Recovery programs held regularly. The staff is awesome and the space is gorgeous. For more than a decade, I’ve struggled with addiction and the challenges of long-term sobriety/recovery. After my last 30-day stay at a residential program, I was scared as hell but willing to try something/anything new. I feel so incredibly fortunate that I found River Rock. When I finished inpatient rehab at Bayside Marin, I didn’t think I needed intensive outpatient treatment. Fortunately, I took the advice of the discharging coordinators and decided to attend River Rock IOP. I learned so much about trauma, mindfulness, behavioral cognitive therapy and from the life experiences of my classmates. I attended outpatient treatment at River Rock for two years, only “graduating “ when I moved out of state. The experience I have had at River Rock has changed my life in very profound ways. I have accepted that I get to and must continue growing in life skills and making healthy decisions. I wish all individuals struggling with addiction and mental health challenges could experience the caring community at River Rock.

Its all in how you carry yourself while your their, if you need help ask for it. Ranting amd raving around the clinic being aggressive is gonna get you treated differently. Go in and be a normal decent person, be civilized for christ sakes your experience will be much more positive. In the end like you, there only doing there job. Ive been there 6 years and ive never ever had an issue everyone's very nice and makes my short time there better, always talkative and very friendly. Without them i know i wouldn't be standing on this side of the ground. Where many of my friends and family unfortunately have lost their own fights and their no longer her with us today"RIP". Very helpful and accommodating. Ive been a client for over 10 years with no major issues. When any type of issue or situation has occurred it was caused by my own choices. Even when I made poor choices, as long as I'm honest about things they have always been understanding and willing to work with me, to get me back on track with my recovery. I would absolutely recommend connifer to anyone who's serious about there recovery or if they think they want to get clean connifer is a great place to start.

I entered VA Lakeside Clinic at 0801, left at 0821 with small piece of debris removed from my shooting eye. It's been there for 72h and sir O'Brian, Joe removed it within minutes. Please note, this was walk in, last minute visit as I had next appointment in St Albans at 0930. For those who complain about federal health care , especially about Burlington VA Lakeside Clinic, please come to Germany for 1/2year and see for yourself how lucky we are being US Army Soldiers and Veterans, it takes months for someone to even talk to you, yet alone to be seen! I storngly recommend this location to all service members and their families!

I go here off and on, it is a place to meet others, share a meal and join in on adventures. Adventures include group movie nights, trips to Maine, camping in Grand Isle, and various other places in Vermont. There are overnight trips and day trips, all of these events provide transportation from, and back to Westview. Evening trips deliver you to your home. Holidays are celebrated, with special meals. Art happens too, all supplies are provided. At noon each day a meal is served .

The Lund home saves lives and creates a much needed oversight for mothers struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. It’s a safe place to land while you are dealing with what I would consider the most crucial part of your recovery journey. Like with all services the client needs to be willing to dedicate themselves and it’s not an easy thing to do. I would suggest really researching the idea first and asking lots of questions from the staff before making a commitment. Each family has different needs and because it’s a big change you’d want to know what before taking the jump. Vermont is lucky to have this program available to our community.
