I have always been treated with respect and have had wonderful care at the Shepherd Center. Everyone is very knowledgeable and listen to any concerns or questions I may have. Having PPS it is important to me that most everyone is knowledgeable about Polio and PPS and how it can affect my life. I love the accessibility at Shepherd and wish everyone would realize how important accessibility is to someone who uses a power chair and everyone who uses other tools for life for their disability. I Hope and pray that one day everyone in our world will understand that accessibility is needed everywhere! Though we may have a disability we are people who love life, want to be respected and love to be independent as much as possible. Have a wonderful day! Leslie

My name is Natasha Hardin. I am guest services in Chattanooga Tennessee. I worked the program and graduated and God led me back to help lead other suffering addicts to freedom with our 12 step recovery program, our sober network, And help them find God. Sober Living America helped save my life and I know if it worked for me it will work for you. I have never been in a sober living, rehab or any other program that made me feel as welcomed and loved as I do here. Such an amazing program that errs on the side of Grace and understands what you are going through and will walk right beside you hand in hand loving you until you are ready to love yourself. So if you are ready to let God work in your life give Sober Living America a call and make that first step and let God do the rest.

Im currently a client on methadone that has moved from Ca. to Ga. It was spur of the moment with no time to make arrangements. I spoke with ERIC on Healthqwests csr dept based on New Jersey. Fyi. Ive been in tech supt, customer service, Quality Assurance & M.I.S. For over 30 yrs Ive worn a headset and have been helping customers. Ive ALWAYS gone above and beyond to help, which is why I can say that ERIC assessed my dilemma for what it was and did his best to move Heaven and earth for me to get me the help i needed 2 days ago. He had an entire queue to help and he took my case as personal as was needed to help me. Moving here I have to change my Medicaid to Ga. which is NOT ez or quick. And I, having heart disease and 5 stents in my heart from 2 heart attacks. Short version of of i didn't get help and go into withdrawl the strain on my heart would no doubt KILL me. The man devoted most of his day trying to get my situation straightened out. Im detailing this because I want you to know this was the BEST service ive ever received in my 60 plus years on this planet, and it happened when my literal life was on the line. Healthqwest cant be beat if you want genuine effort with your help. The prices are competitive but you can't go wrong using them. Ill answer any question or comment too. The medication I take is no joke. I take it for a broken back I got when I was year ended on my motorcycle at a red light. I take it for Pain mgmt. Its a serious subject and serious things happen with it....and more without it. Id be crippled, so you can see the magnitude of my plight. Eric knew and did everything he could. I cant say enough for them. Chris OBrien

Five stars. Five for effort. Five for intent. Five for execution. Five for the people. Namely, Mr. Ulysses Johnson, Ms. Gheri, Mr. Washington, Mr. Baker, Mr. Daniel, Ms. Sonondra, Miss K, Mr. Brian Moore, Chef Moore, Chef James and Chef Jimmy are all hallmark individuals and as a unit they facilitate a transformative and incredibly supportive community that is doing amazing work addressing homelessness in Atlanta. I utilized every service for several months as I recovered from circumstances that rendered me homeless in August. They received me on the 8th, and from that day forward I didn't miss a meal, I attended programming that was engaging and developmental towards successful community re-entry. All the staff genuinely lean in every aspect of their roles to help myself and my peers. I am truly grateful because I don't know where I'd be without you all. Thank you all so much! You too JD! I would like to share my experience living at The Shepherd's Inn. I was living in my Apartment for 2 years in Atlanta.I am on Disability & was on The Ticket To Work Program.I got my Apartment thru Hope of Atlanta.I was Homeless for 5 years in Santa Monica,California prior to coming to Atlanta for work.I was working as soon as I was able to acquire housing.I had to buy clothes & food. The money the Government pays me is only $1200 per month.I moved into my apartment in 2021. I worked in 2021 &2022. My disability ended up getting Suspended because I went over the SGA amount. This happened in May of 2022. The Warehouse I was working for for 14 months went out of business. I was only making $12 per hour doing Production worker. I was not able to get another job because my cell phone was stolen. My casemanager was helping me apply for unemployment & Food stamps. The unemployment office keep telling my casemanger that we had to reapply for unemployment. We did this 2 times. He also applied for Food Stamps. I never received anything in my time of need.We had to get Rent & electric assistance. My rent & electric was paid but no food.I ended up going to jail in Gwinnet County for 3 rd Degree Forgery for 2 years. After I was released a homeless friend of mine told me about the Atlanta Mission. They have a 1 month & 6 month programs. When I did the intake I noticed that they were asking personal questions that was none of their business. They asked if I had a mental problem.I said no.They ask if I was taking medication & I said no.I just got out of jail.I did finally get to see a Doctor & get medication. If you tell them you have a mental problem you can only stay I month. Its a really great shelter compared to others I lived in.In the 6 month program you live for Free. They have a clothing closet to help you with clothes They also help you find a job &apartment.A friend of mine is in the 1 month program. He went to talk to Mrs.Kay about a extension. She said no.There is 2 things that they don't do but they should. They should gave everyone a monthly bus pass & $500 a month allowance while they are going thur the program. The staff is very professional is nice to me at all times.I am going to a better shelter in another State. It is a better program & the State has better medical services.

My name is actually Adam I’m just having a hard time getting into my email lol.. anyways I’m a relatively new patient and my first impression so far has been that this is a facility with people who are caring and treat addicts such as myself with the dignity that we’re not always afforded. Nat, is compassionate and respectful while Keisha (I think that’s how you spell her name?) is upbeat and fun to talk to. During a time in which there’s so much stigma around medication assisted treatment, this place in particular doesn’t treat you with any less respect than they would a non-addict. I have a feeling that some of the people that have left negative reviews are clients who simply disobey the rules by skipping days and afterwards s were mad that they had to re-admit And pay which is simple state mandated policy. I look forward to meeting my counselor Chi-Chi as I have heard great things about her.One last note – lines are very short!!

I was referred here by a doctor I work for because I found my son using drugs. Jeff really gave me great insight on how to handle the situation from an emotional/parental standpoint. I have sent many people to The Link.

The Link Counseling Center has served as a sanctuary to me for the past 10 years. I started coming here when I was 7 and enjoyed doing art/play therapy. Years later as a 20 years old, I gained an internship there where I enjoy learning how to speak to clients and sympathize with them! This experience is preparing me for my career in the psychology field!

The Link Counseling Center has been a sanctuary for my daughter through different stages of her life. When she was just a few years old and struggling with anxiety due to my divorce, she found comfort in her play therapy sessions. To her, it felt like an art class where she could play with all the toys, and she cherished the idea of having a grown-up friend. Over time, her anxiety eased, and the sessions became a source of joy and healing. Years later, I brought her back, this time as a safe space where she could freely express herself without hesitation. Once again, Link Counseling provided exceptional care. The staff is kind, compassionate, and incredibly accommodating, working with families regardless of their financial situation. The center itself feels like a sanctuary-calm, safe, and welcoming. Thanks to the support and guidance she received at the Link Counseling, my daughter has grown into a resilient young woman who now strives to heal others. I am forever grateful for the impact this place has had on her journey. I highly recommend Link Counseling to any family in need of compassionate, professional support.

The office staff are really really nice every time I've encountered them and I've been seeing them for about a year now and Mrs. Ocala, the therapist is amazing I love her to death hopefully I spilled her name correctly lol. And Dr Briggs is very understanding and has been very helpful in trying to manage what is wrong with me and my medications and everything. There have been a couple of scheduling mishaps but nothing that interfered with my sessions or seeing Dr Briggs or anything. They have been amazing so far in trying to help me.
