I do agree some of the attitudes here are off. But not for everyone. There are some really kind people here. The facility is very nice/clean/new. If you are coming for testing, ask for Tameron. Shes amazing. Free STI testing 1x per year.

After 4 or 5 failed attempts to stop abusing alcohol I wound up at MARR. The day after my 50th birthday. I was extremely upset and disappointed with myself. My time at MARR has fundamentally changed my life. I have a strong foundation in sobriety, many coping tools in my toolbox and a large network of sober men and women who I will forever call friends. This place is lovely. They are excellent at working with your insurance and helping you to get the most out your time in treatment. The staff are very warm and supportive and do everything they can to make life easier for you while you are there. Really, this place provides quality of care way above and beyond the norm for this level of care, while allowing you both great freedom and supportive structure. If you are looking for a place that feels like home (only probably more stable), this is the place for you. They always make sure you have transportation available, which is great for people who don t have cars. They let you work and build community and they don t give up on people easily. The location is great, the housing is great, and the staff are amazing. The maximum stay is six months although I guess they make exceptions. They have alumni activities and you are always welcome to return once you graduate.Five stars. And believe me, I know my treatment centers.

So, I have a different story than most as I have not attended any Program here, but through a referral by my Therapist I was connected with Megan as I was looking at their IOP program. OMG - She has gone so far above and beyond to help me it is insane!!When it was discovered that due to UHC and they horrible coverage of late, I am not able to get into The Carter Center without incurring significant costs that would be impossible to overcome. Meagan RECOMMENDED that I look at other facilities and proceeded to list them and their locations - even willing to make a call to an in-network provider much closer to my home.This is such an amazingly refreshing perspective I know in my heart that they are in the business of helping people who want/need help and not just check a box because of a legal requirement. I truly felt like the lady in Miracle on 34th street (even though I'm a guy) who was told by Santa to go to another store to get a product cheaper.Megan - Thank you for all that you do to help people like me struggling with Alcoholism and other substance abuse issues!!!!

Im currently a client on methadone that has moved from Ca. to Ga. It was spur of the moment with no time to make arrangements. I spoke with ERIC on Healthqwests csr dept based on New Jersey. Fyi. Ive been in tech supt, customer service, Quality Assurance & M.I.S. For over 30 yrs Ive worn a headset and have been helping customers. Ive ALWAYS gone above and beyond to help, which is why I can say that ERIC assessed my dilemma for what it was and did his best to move Heaven and earth for me to get me the help i needed 2 days ago. He had an entire queue to help and he took my case as personal as was needed to help me. Moving here I have to change my Medicaid to Ga. which is NOT ez or quick. And I, having heart disease and 5 stents in my heart from 2 heart attacks. Short version of of i didn't get help and go into withdrawl the strain on my heart would no doubt KILL me. The man devoted most of his day trying to get my situation straightened out. Im detailing this because I want you to know this was the BEST service ive ever received in my 60 plus years on this planet, and it happened when my literal life was on the line. Healthqwest cant be beat if you want genuine effort with your help. The prices are competitive but you can't go wrong using them.Ill answer any question or comment too. The medication I take is no joke. I take it for a broken back I got when I was year ended on my motorcycle at a red light. I take it for Pain mgmt.Its a serious subject and serious things happen with it....and more without it. So far it has been good I recently transferred in from another clinic they were very helpful the only thing I do not like is all medicaid recipients have to video call daily to take the dose in front of a nurse or else we are not covered by medicaid for that day. Which is a medicaid thing but thats the only difference from my last clinic

It's my first time ever in recovery, but I've heard stories of how bad some places treat you and how nasty the food is. Well not at recovery village. The staff treat you with respect and are there to help in your recovery. They show that they actually care from the day you first contact them by calling to simply check on you every day until your arrival. They have some of the best therapists in the world. There tech are there to serve you and not demand any thing accept you following the rules of the facility. I loved this place and one I'm done with my sober living I'm going to return so they can see the evidence of there work. I'm very glad I chose this place as the start of my sobriety and recovery. I am extremely happy that I chose SouthEast for my detox and residential. The entire staff is so caring and loving! It is so clear that they like helping and have great experience. I had searched for a detox close to home, but after checking reviews on Google, I chose them. Reviewing from a perspective of both personal experience as well as that of a loved one. MARR is an excellent choice for treatment, the staff all competent and qualified. There are doctors and nurses on staff/on site. Everyone works around the clock for the benefit of their residences - there is absolutely no other program that provides as complete of care as MARR does. They offer intensive care through every stage of recovery for each client. There are few other programs that provide extensive, long term, physical and emotional level care, individual and group therapy, teaches applicable life skills as well as drug and alcohol education and support. I have seen MARR do wonders for many people, from all backgrounds and situations, and leading to clients actively living productive, happy, substance free lives and contributing to the world and people around them. All of this and at a ridiculously affordable rate comparably.

This facility has very competent, professional, and caring staff. I was there for alcohol detox for 5 days. My detox was comfortable. The rooms are clean. The facility is lovely. It s not gross or dirty. The food ? Horrible. Really bad. Also, some of the patients were really hard-core and filthy. One guy sat there spitting into a styrofoam cup. It was really disgusting. I asked one of the techs if they encouraged the dirty, stinky patients to shower. I never received an answer.

I just left here, and while I hope I never have to go back to another facility, if I did, it would be here. I ve seen a lot of the negative reviews, and all I can say to them is that I m sorry they had those experiences, but of course there is going to be a measurable amount of chaos in a facility like this.People don t go to a place like this on their best days. Us addicts and alcoholics can be a tough bunch to deal with on our best days, let alone when we re in agony coming off of our substances.Every staff member I met with was not only helpful but also friendly and extremely accommodating. If you treat them like people (and even if you don t, in most cases), they will treat you the same in return. Patrick checked me in, and while I m sure he got a laugh out of my state, he was sure to let me know how my stay would go, that I had what I needed, and that I had some sense of orientation before I passed out my first night.The remainder of my stay was uneventful, but they made sure I had an adequate level of care. If you re looking to get loaded for a week for a tolerance break, this likely isn t the spot for you. If you re looking to be comfortable while you figure out what your next steps are, then there s really not much else I could have asked for (though a hot tub would be sweeeeeet). The food was food. It s not Michelin star, but pretty good and better than most of us were eating before we got there. There s tv s in the rooms, plenty of common area space, etc.I had a bit of a unique work situation, and Nicole, the clinical director, worked with me to put together a plan that would ensure my wellbeing but still allow me to keep my livelihood, letting me know the different paths and the pluses/minuses of all of them.All in all, I can t say I enjoyed my stay solely due to the nature of it, but for what it was, it was more than adequate and more than I expected. The techs, nurses, therapists, and clinical staff all worked together as well as could be humanly expected when dealing with 20+ people who are in physical and mental turmoil. There s always going to be some cracks, but It s detox, not the Caesar s Palace in Vegas.Thank you all again for the help, and I hope I never see you again unless it s outside those 4 walls.

Sunrise is absolutely incredible- at a very low time in my life o reached out to a program local to me who sent me to sunrise for detox in October of 2023. I have never gone to a detox or anything of the sorts and in my opinion it was a 5 star resort- a friend I made while there and I still joke that we want to go back for a vacation/ break fromLife and of course for the cheesecake haha. In all reality though / sunrise is an incredible facility. I hope to never need to reenter a detox of any sorts but if godforbid I ever need to or run into anyone that needs to my recommendation is sunrise Alpharetta without a doubt!

If the Recovery services that are offered by this center are needed, I can't think of a better place to go! Woodstock treatment center has professional Counselors that are non-judgemental, kind and empathetic, (shout out to Lindsay!) developing a plan of care tailored to the individual's needs so recovery though painful is attainable. As a bonus it is affordable even if you do not have insurance. The only negative is lack of parking.

I was in hillside from August to November of 2023, and truthfully I can t believe it s been that long.When I went in to hillside, I had no will to live, was depressed and struggled socially and with processing and understanding emotions. When I went in, I was scared, because of past experiences in residential and acute placements. But once i started the program, I learned quickly hillside was different. Every staff member truly tried to help and connect with me in their own different ways. And I thank each and every one of them for being part of my journey, even when it was difficult.Today, not only me, and the others around me see the progress I continue to make. Because it isn t over night. I still practice my skills, and I m still learning and growing and improving every day. There are still hard days, but I m able now to get through them thanks to the things I ve learned at Hillside.
