This place doesn't care about anything but money. I got kicked out with 5 months clean because I couldnt find a job. I had to turn down jobs because of the rules at Freeman. People are relapsing all the time there. I did not relapse and done everything I was suppose to do. Even paid my rent on time. And my rent was paid up and I still got kicked out for not having a job even though I was trying really hard to find a job and they knew I was trying. They still kicked me out. People who relapse are allowed to stay. Worst excuse for sober living rehab. Find somewhere else to go trust me.

than this place. I paid for 6 weeks in cash they sent me home in 4 weeks and said that I had completed the program. Need I say more?

I went to this center and it was the worst experience I've ever had. The staff didn't care about you unless you came on your own if the courts made you they treated you like crap. I had 2 sets of dentures stolen and they didn't do anything except call these women from this church to lay hands on me talking in tongues and accuse me in front of everyone of doing something with my own teeth they humiliated me the whole time I was there I did graduate the program in Hohenwald, tn which was the best experience and center they have. It's a very godly community that rally around you and are there for you anytime . The only thing that I got from the Paris womens center was not only humiliation but I got friendships from the other ladies for a lifetime .

After 4 or 5 failed attempts to stop abusing alcohol I wound up at MARR. The day after my 50th birthday. I was extremely upset and disappointed with myself. But something told me that I belonged there. And I made the best decision of my life. To stay there.
I stayed for the mandatory 3 months and then an extra four more.
Not only did I learn to stop drinking and live life without alcohol, but I leather be an adult. To ask for help. And most importantly I learned that I was not alone in my life or my journey.

I wanted to write a review to say how thankful I am to this facility and the incredible team (special shout out to my therapist Angela and Josh )who work here. Upon arrival I was going through it. From the very beginning the staff welcomed me with compassion, respect, and patience. Not only did they provide incredible treatment- they provided me with a family-like support. I felt understood, safe, and valued.
The therapists and facilitators earnestly listened and helped me navigate through the most difficult time of my life . I graduated from the carter treatment center today.
I completed the PHP/IOP program and have 195 days sober now. I will be staying for aftercare to continue to work and focus on my recovery.

Mt Sinai was very helpful for my family and our loved one from start to finish. The entire staff was very warm and welcoming. We have been dealing with this for almost 10 years and Mt Sinai actually addressed his underlying issues for the first time ever. His therapist and Dr were very invested with us and I highly recommend anyone that reaches out to me to call them!

I started going to the methadone clinic after my daughter was born. I have never been arrested and I figured it would be really hard to be a dad while in active addiction. That was in 2001. I've moved around to different places, Gadsden, Trussville, Tuscaloosa and others. I really loved the people in Tuscaloosa and hated leaving. I had to return to the Oxford area, to help with my mom who was terminal with cancer. When I transferred back to Oxford they were great. I loved the staff. At one point they were down to a skeleton crew, they did the best they could at the time with what they had. They have gotten more staff now and they are wonderful. I don't feel like my number so much. Yes, they are strict on the rules but look at what they deal with. I can manipulate just about anyone as an active addict. We all have that power. The people at sunrise probably saved my life. I had been binge drinking and hiding vodka throughout the house for years before I went there. I had gone to many therapists, AA meetings, etc. Everyone there is going through the same struggle and, therefore, no one is judgemental at all. One therapist in particular went above and beyond, and I can't thank him enough. Christian not only took the time to talk to me hours after he was supposed to leave, but he called all of his colleagues to find the perfect fit for me after my detox. I've always been timid talking in groups, but he found a 15 person women's only rehab facility and it was the perfect fit. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The people at sunrise actually listen to you and truly want what's best for you.

We brought clothes to our minor child two different weekends and all of the clothes we brought in during our visits have gone missing. I’ll be making a theft report with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office because it is too much of a coincidence that items for one child brought two different weekends just disappear. From what I’m hearing, this is pretty common for these types of facilities and apparently Lincoln Trail is no exception. Do not bring good clothes in because they will be stolen…and likely not by patients.

This was my first time using the VA for medical and it was a pleasant experience. I requested an appointment online and was called a couple of days later to confirm the date and time. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The front secretary wasn’t exactly warm, but otherwise everyone was very friendly. Dr. Bigoms and the staff at the eye clinic took their time with me and made me feel like I mattered. That doesn’t happen often in healthcare anymore, unfortunately.
