Dr Fatoki has taken care of me for more than 10 years and anyone who complains about the place, well that's on them. There are rules as is anywhere.....sure front office has had turmoil, but they have always been nice. Well with the exception of the Doctors ex wife. That woman....oh boy. Now Dee, that's my girl. Always makes me smile when I see her. I wasn't thrilled with the Ottawa clinic, they were very rude the one time I went. Glad I don't have to go there anymore!But I love Ring rd. I'd give them 20 stars if I could!

The doctor is incredible and he'll never turn his back on patients, like I have experienced in years past. Yes, the front office has had some turmoil and turnover (expect to wait at least an hour after appointed time...overbooking or doc gets calls from local jails, etc. seeking his advice and it can cause delays...but it's MUCH better than it was years ago). Put it this way, I accept the extra waiting time, long drive from Normal, IL, and other potential inconveniences because I know a doctor who cares when I see one! I am a big fan of Dr. Fatoki and he is a true public servant.

I'm happy I went and visited the clinic and they addressed my issue very well and in good time and Dr Adeyemi was of great help when i consulted his service. Ms Tolu was always updating me incase my appointment had some changes and it was kind of her. I recommend the clinic to anyone seeking medical attention to visit here.

Been going to Family Guidance for awhile now and I absolutely recommend this methadone clinic to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are mostly friendly and it's easy to get into the clinic within a day or two. Once you get to the correct methadone dose the dope sickness is mostly gone and then you can slowly get back to a normal life. I've had a few counselors since going here and all were nice and professional but my current one Gary is Awesome. He seems to really care and is always helpful. I would most likely be dead if I didn't sign up at Family Guidance. If you're looking for a way to stop using dope give this clinic a try.

I've been going to Family Guidance for the last 16 months. August 2nd I got off the train from St. Louis and started down the road for recovery. I've been using for the last 30 years. With the help of my counselor at Family Guidance I have been able to abstain from drug use and have turned a corner allowing me to say farewell to everyone at family guidance.

Such a transformative experience! Naturally, the reviews you read for addiction treatment centers are going to skew negative but don't let that deter you if you believe you need help. Not only did I have an amazing experience with staff, I've built a strong foundation of community among my peers who were also seeking treatment. While encouraged by their use of an evidenced-based model, the incorporation of the 12-steps had me skeptical at first but now I'm fully committed. If you feel the 12 steps aren't for you, they also provide information about alternatives such as SMART Recovery and Recovery Dharma. My one complaint would be that I had chosen to participate in the in-person IOP during intake, but was somehow placed into the virtual IOP. Once it was recognized it was a quick fix and it didn't impact my start date or anything like that.

A customer satisfaction coordinator reached out to me regarding a concern and did not follow through. I called 4 times starting a few months ago and have not received a return call. My messages were courteous. My issue was never addressed and I have been repeatedly ignored. I’m disappointed that the person who handles issues is not addressing my recent 2 issues. With the exception of my last two concerns I have been pleased with my care, which is why my recent experiences have been disappointing. Customer care extends beyond the facility. Laura Basso Ramos is a very kind, empathetic, loving person. I meet with her twice a week for my group therapy sessions and she was so welcoming on my first visit. I truly feel better every time after meeting with her for my sessions. She gives me a lot of good information on how to cope and think more positive.

They took great care of me. However, I had severe bruising all overy arms from them missing my vein for IV. I mean serious bruising in multiple spots. Also, some employee on the rehab floor yelled at my daughter for hugging me. We had no idea we couldn't hug. It was embarrassing. Finally the food in the med floor was consistently cold. The food on the rehab floor was hottish but I was missing food that I ordered all the time I was there. Thanks

I've been here twice... Certainly the best 28 day program in the area. Two amazing counselors who educate residence on addiction and push and motivate them to be better. I am grateful to this place however ashamed that I relapsed again after two stays here. They certainly did there best... And do not take into account the bad reviews. If you've been to several programs and treatment centers around Chicago then you know HAS is one of the better ones.HAS, Keep up the good work and thank Hose for giving me so many chances, you guys help those who want it. I hope I can visit on better terms someday!

I was there and now im 3 years clean. Good place to go if your serious and ready to find a new way to live. I'm forever thankful to all the counselors and the cooks who took there time on showing love and helping me get out of that hell I was in.. I still miss that church they used to take us every other weekend with Pastor Steve still can't find it. God bless and stay safe...

I have been to this center 3 times in my past throughout my addiction. I can say with experience that this place is the real deal .A lot of places will say it s about recovery. But you can see and feel the changes people are going through. And miracles DO HAPPEN! I just wanna say AMEN, thank you Jesus for keeping the doors open to this center all these years. Having used their facilities for our Union members and for a family member, the counselors are caring, responsive, and communicate very well on a treatment plan and objectives & goals. Ms Tori awesome!!!!! The group meetings and accountability for each other in treatment works in a great atmosphere. I would strongly recommend this facility if a friend, co-worker, and family members are in need of help with addictions and/or mental health. It is located in chesterton nearby for visitation purposes.
