I started going to Centerstone for alcohol addiction. I've received SO much support them!! A lot more than going to meetings. Everyone is so friendly and caring. Chris J is my counselor and he is great as well as Kaitlin who runs the Friday Harm Reduction group. I would highly recommend Centerstone to anyone facing challenges with addiction.

I have been with centerstone for about 2 yrs now and they have been an amazing help and support system. I have done mental health counseling drug counseling and have taken two separate parenting classes. All of which have been immensely helpful to me and my wife. Kya Hill had been a great counselor and advocate for us both. I would highly recommend centerstone to anyone who is looking for a mental health support or any of the things I have listed

I just feel as tho Lakya Hill is in her calling. I don't think she would fit being anything else other than a therapist. I feel so much better after speaking with her. She always hold me accountable and also give me a safe space to take accountability without judgment; only correction. I really have found the perfect person to help me fix me. She's the overall best therapist l've ever had

Wait times get a little lengthy but life-saving medication and great counselors and nurses along with an excellent new Director thank you guys for your selfless service to others.

I was a patient for 12 years. I miss WAYNE! He was my dad's counselor and helped me after my Dad passed. Hope you still there preaching to the new generation. Just keep calling them out on there BS because it is refreshing.

I am updating my review because it is no longer relevant. I am very sad to hear that the director John is retiring; he is a wonderful, caring person. Some tips: they only check bills with a marker that only detects the presence of starch. This only works to ID fake bills that have been printed off of somebody's HP or Lexmark onto cheap printer paper. even accidentally washing your pants with a 20 in the pocket will be enough to "set off" their pens. Bills made priot to 1973 also automatically fail. Because counterfeiters often use bleached, real $1 bills, not only are they vulnerable to larceny, but false positives left me and others feeling judged and unable to dose. I acquired easy to read posters and literature from the St Louis Department of Revenue for local businesses to detect counterfeit currency and distributed them to every window. They did not use them or even try the many ways the US Treasury advises to detect fake currency (microprinting, watermark, texture of raised ink, security thread, color-shifting print, etc.) Implying I have a 65 ton printing press in my basement but used a $1.99 ream from Kinko's. Speaking of money, they do not take change (coins)and nor do neighboring businesses. They also may not reinmburse you if you don't have the correct bills for exact change. Counselors are a hit and miss. I have encountered 12 steppers who are proud to treat a disease the same exact way for a near century and are quick to blame you if AA doesn't help, never the program. Even if you have been repeatedly victimized by 13th steppers. Imagine if an antibiotic failed to cure your infection. Would your doctor say you have moral failings and give you more of the same antibiotic? No. Some counselors here do know about smart recovery and other, actually helpful, programs. Do not be afraid to find someone who works.

I entered harris house on january first this year... i didnt know what to expect when i entered. had some anxiety. i was there for 3 weeks, everyone was so compationate about my recovery i was impressed by that. i really like the fact that most all the counselors were former addicts themselves, and they knew what we were going through. ginny was my counselor and i met with her once a week. i have had alot of grief in my family. i lost 3 brothers. one at 22, the other at 37, and my other brother at 63. here at harris house, they gave me some tools to deal with my loss..i started drinking at age 18, until i got married at 30. i was sober for 14 years while married to my wife. well after we divorced i began drinking pretty much every day...well long story short, i had had enough of the damn alcohol and decided to get help. i just am so glad for harris house and how you all helped me...so thanks to you and your staff, i can get my life together sober. thank you so much and please keep helping others.. oh and by the way, the food is great as well...thank you.. signed jeff vance

I am a recovering IV heroin addict, I have struggled with maintaining sobriety and managing bipolar and anxiety. I have been going here for a few years now and I have been able to stay clean with MAT and consistently manage my mental health. I have seen a few different providers in my time there but they have all been amazing! I feel heard and safe and every there has your best interest in mind. I look forward to my appointment every month. Everyone from the receptionists to the pharmacy and providers are very friendly and knowledgeable.

They listen and they don’t judge. This place helped me realize I wasn’t alone in my addiction battle. Thanks to this program I was able to get my life back on track. Highly recommend.

The gateway foundation is filled with amazing and caring people some of them are even recovering addicts themselves. I can honestly say im 100000000% thankful for every single person at gateway from my counselor down to the Wednesday night speakers and every person counselor that holds every meeting i am truly 100000% thankful for you all.

This place saved my daughter's life. We had multiple hospital stays and a prior residential program in North Carolina before comming here. My daughter thrived here and she says this place got her and her anorexia and exercising obsession. She loves the Victory Program.This program is designed for athletes that are struggling with an eating disorder. The program helped Claire realize that she can be an athlete and that food is a necessity for a strong athletic body. Her team was great at their jobs and at communicating with parents. The CEO will sit and talk with you and you truly feel that this place has your child's best interest. From a parent who almost lost his child to an eating disorder please if you are reading this you owe it to your child and yourself to look into this place. Erik

Coming from a past adolescent patient at McCallum Place. I can genuinely say that my experience there was life changing When I first arrived, I was filled with anxiety and uncertainty about the journey ahead I did not want to recover at all since it was my third round of treatment in total (first at mccallum) and I have had over six hospitalizations struggling with Ana since age 11 I was so nervous about being here in a totally different state away from home. When I walked through the doors, I was met with warmth, understanding, and encouraging staff who were extremely supportive throughout my whole time in treatment. my treatment plan created by my therapist jilly was based off of my specific needs she was incredibly understanding and extremely helpful, helping me understamd the underlying issues contributing to my eating disorder. McCallum staff and patients realy inspired me to embrace life with a new sense of confidence and hope.
