July 26th, 2027 appx 5:45PM my husband took me to the ER for burning stomach pain. The doctors and staff AFTER intake gave me supreme treatment! HOWEVER, I would like to advise the hospital that their intake receptionist is a VERY rude and incompetent employee. You should probably get rid of her before she loses you patients because I almost DID LEAVE when she got smart with me. That's why I didn't leave 5 stars.

Katrina does IV's and she's amazing , always with a smile on her face ready to answer any questions you might have , as are the other girls Marinela and Anastasia working there very helpful. They actually listen and try to help you to get better . I would recommend Integral Med to anyone .

I am not sure i can properly put into words how important my time at footprints was. I do believe they helped me save my life. The entire staff is full of love, care and kindness. They were professional and diligent in my treatment. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone facing struggles with mental health and addiction. This place saved my loved ones life. Seriously. He was Deep in addiction when he got here and I was fearful because of the reviews and because his addiction was just so bad I didn’t know if anything was going to help. Before footprints, I was planning to bury my loved one. He is now healthy, clean and sober and has a career. I can never thanks footprints to recovery enough. All the staff was very kind to me when I went to visit and drop stuff off for him. The only reason we’re missing a star is because my loved one had some issues with a staff member named Quan(?) who was being weird to patients. Other than that, amazing experience for my loved one. Thank you guys for saving his life and brightening up mine.

Suncloud has been a life saver. The staff was and is always welcoming and caring. One of the things that has been the most helpful for me has been the aftercare, follow ups and continued connection I get with them. It has become part of my family now and its a lifestyle. One of the things I lost in my life was a sense of being part of my community and having that desire to isolate from people. I dont feel that way anymore because of Suncloud. Now I have friends and people I really trust. Which is huge to me with my trust issues. Suncloud taught me that I cannot do this alone and showed me that I wasnt alone. Overall, my experience at Gateway Chicago was exceptional and overwhelmingly positive. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion. The food was good, the staff was outstanding, and my counselor, Nate, was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Supervisor Herb is highly professional and, as he often says, he "gets things done" for the clients—a statement I personally witnessed time and time again. His leadership has had a tremendous impact on the men's unit, and he deserves recognition for creating an environment where clients feel supported, respected, and encouraged to succeed. I would also like to recognize Mike, Muhammad, Kenny, Kevin, Richard, Eva, Prentice, Katelyn, China, Mr. B, and Dale. Dale's classes are engaging, informative, and inspiring, and his passion for recovery is evident in every interaction he has with clients. Every one of these staff members demonstrated professionalism, compassion, patience, and dedication. They treated not only me but every client with kindness and respect, making recovery feel possible and giving people hope during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Gateway Chicago, located at 3828 West Taylor Street, Chicago, Illinois 60624, did far more than provide substance abuse treatment—it helped bring sanity, clarity, and serenity back into my life. The staff consistently went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and the needs of others. I witnessed countless acts of generosity and compassion. For example, today the facility distributed an abundance of quality clothing to clients. Priority was given to those who arrived with nothing, and after everyone in need was taken care of, there were still enough clothes for others. It was just one of many examples of how Gateway genuinely cares about the people they serve. The facility itself is clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable, clients receive three meals a day along with a snack, and the overall atmosphere promotes healing and recovery. While anyone can find something to criticize about any organization, I found very few, if any, faults with Gateway Chicago. My overall experience exceeded my expectations. I am sincerely grateful to the ownership, the corporate leadership, and every member of the staff for the hard work, compassion, passion, and dedication they show every day to individuals seeking recovery. Most importantly, I am grateful that Gateway helped me regain peace of mind, hope for the future, and the serenity I had been missing for so long. I wholeheartedly recommend Gateway Chicago to anyone seeking treatment. Their commitment to helping people rebuild their lives is evident in everything they do, and I will always be thankful for the care and support I received there.

7Jul2026 Follow up from the woman's health clinic after ER visit suggested by Dr. Burgard for my wrist injury. Nurse Patricia I was extremely friendly and gave me options to get my eyeglasses, teeth cleaned, and referral, for my spouse to get a primary physician. A lot of words with actions to back up every single letter. Super impressive. 17Apr2026 Review changed to 5 Stars. Extremely helpful couple working the mid-counter were able Guide me to the secondary eye clinic, Brenda was super friendly getting me checked into the acute Eye clinic. Additionally while I waited the workers at the coffee lounge we're exceedingly helpful and very cheerful. There was a new female who was very cheerful and was thanking the veterans for there service. In ( the main eye clinc) Dr.Dessler was very thorough ask and educating me on the 4 treatments. Both eye clinics were very transparent. And that is something to be stated. Alexis left me on hold for 10 minutes. Then lied about an open December appointment. Utilizing words like we only have one doctor that can see people "like you". She then stated that they only have openings for late February. I have never asked for services as a female or Transgender. I'm a guy, period. There is no reason for gender stereotyping because I choose to dress or look a certain way. As such the TSP CPT Dr.Jefferies chose to act with violence during one of our sessions. This is very vindictive behavior. Other than the outstanding lab department & Dr.Riz I do not recommend this location for now. ---------------------- 3Jul2025 (5 Five Review) A great man walked these halls. DR.B will be remembered and mark a standard of care that is yet to be seen at this location. No ceremony for a person who did the right thing always. What a joke how you treat a Doctor who served Veterans for 10 + years. Go to the back where the staff & doctors are sleeping sprawled out on all benches ( like hobos) specifically built gazebos for veterans. This facility is just amazing! Truly felt like everyone cared about me, and I can honestly say I trusted everyone in there. Trust is very hard for me, but the adult program and the staff allowed me to be myself with no judgement. I'm trying so hard to follow the rules and not name any staff but will give a broad review. Right when you walk in the staff is friendly, always smiling which in turn made me smile. The supervisor is amazing; the head of the counselors who leads the group therapy is one of the best people I ever met. The staff that lead the groups cared about me, and it was genuine, and they are so smart and fun. From the psychiatrist to my therapist everyone was on the same page. I just want to say thank you to everyone there from the bottom of my heart!

Most grateful for this treatment center on my 7th anniversary sober from alcohol. The seeds Hazeldon planted saved my life! Shame on whoever is letting Susan Nice run meetings out of your building. She let a stranger stroke my leg her entire meeting and never stopped it once. Had the audacity to ask if it was my boyfriend after. Knowing I live with PTSD from abuse being my longtime 'godsponsor'. She just spoke at the Canada opening. How are you letting someone so detached from reality speak to those in need of help? How many meetings has she been to? Her suggestions along with Laura Ws (whos Mom works with congress scary enough) and the ladies of AA in particular are reckless. Suggested I do my first lead of life and didnt show up. How many woman have you sponsored Laura? You suggested more fellowship and ditched me at my first AA dance. 2 ladies came to Windy City Church women's big book meeting on Mondays and felt so shamed the went home and killed themselves. Those ladies made me feel the same but I refuse to kill myself though your careless suggestions made me feel like I should. The ladies in AA arent doctors. Thanks for being professionals Hazeldon. Alano clubs are hot spots for gossip that's ruining lives. Grateful to be alive and sober. Thanks for starting my journey with me 14 years ago! This is my first time experiencing an addiction recovery program. But I can honestly say I've never been part of any program (of any kind) that has counselors and leaders with bigger hearts! I was recommended this place by my therapist, and can honestly say it was not only the best decision I've ever made but the most life-changing decision I've ever gotten to experience. As soon as I started, I could instantly tell that the counselors and leaders weren't just there to do a job but genuinely cared about every patient who entered their program. It was amazing to not only get education and tools on how to go through recovery but also how to cope with life outside of recovery with a tailored made schedules for each individual. This program also has amazing outside events for its patients in recovery, such as game nights, movie/book club nights, and more. Care Addiction Center is more than a program; it's a beating heart that saves & changes lives! I can honestly say it saved mine! If you're looking for a program that can get you to that next step when every other programs or every other solution has not worked, I promise you if you follow their advice and tips, you definitely will. I'm grateful to have met every single person a part of this program! I don't think there is a better recovery program that really exists; especially for its affordability. I know I'm biased, but there are many who would back that! I'm genuinely so grateful for these counselors and leaders and the many I've met who joined me in the program along the way!

BEST EXPERIENCE!!! This center was perfect for me because I am not a very social person and the small group sessions were perfect. Also, the small group allowed for me to learn more and get the most from the program. The instructors are very well versed and knowledgeable about addiction. I looked forward to going every day. Our group became very close knit and we do activities together outside of class. If you do not want to be just a seat filler and actually get something out of your recovery journey, this is the place.

I choose to take part of the Symetria program voluntarily and it was one of the best decisions of my life! Not only are the staff like family, so are the individuals that pick Symetria too. Now days, customer service is pathetic and people are rude and most push you out the door, but not here. This place has the warm feeling like "The door is always open", and "how can we help you", We are here for you, it doesn't matter the time or the day, we care about you. You're a shining star and a success, not a failure. This place is secure, confidential, clean and has several options to help you along your journey. You are able to volunteer your time, make new friends and can help save a life, change a life and feel proud of who you are. Brian and John from Naperville are excellent group leaders (you are lucky if you get to meet them), and (Chris from Vernon Hills is a great counselor, who will make the time to ensure your needs are met). Symetria creates an environment where people feel safe, supported, and valued. The morning IOP group supported me through the hardest part of my life and I will forever be grateful for the amazing people I met. I think each one of us in the group looked forward to our time together in that healing place. Our counselor Brian is an expert in his field. He led our group through many difficult topics and conversations and did so with enormous compassion. Individual sessions with Brian were always insightful. Brian has a unique way of making each of his clients feel good about themselves. If you struggle with addiction and are looking for a place where you can start to make changes, I highly recommend Naperville's IOP program. Thank you for helping me change my life.

PSI saved my life. The people here not only helped me want to live a healthier life, but they also helped me find my voice again. This was my second IOP program and honestly the service and care that I received was on a completely different level. Mike Geraci is one of the best therapists I've ever had the pleasure of working with. PSI and Mike went above and beyond for me and my peers to make sure that we finished the program ready to jump back into our lives. I also spent time and stayed at the sober living apartments through PSI and would highly recommend this choice. The apartment was comfortable and in a great location. I also met some of my best friends here and made lasting friendships. I am forever grateful to PSI. Thank you again for everything!

PSI was an experience in honesty, structure, and human connection that’s helped me rebuild after years of destructive patterns and self medication. What stays with me most is how powerful it is to be around people who understand what I was dealing with firsthand. The group setting paired with direct medical and emotional support encouraged real change to begin when fear, shame, impulsive behavior, and isolation had taken over. They approach recovery as not just about stopping harmful behavior—it also looks to address anxiety, depression, trauma, distorted thinking, and other underlying mental health struggles through therapy, accountability, education, and consistent support While the focus of the program deals with very heavy topics - the care teams I worked with made me feel heard, comfortable, and safe. As well, they allowed and encouraged me to be my authentic self - helpful, gracious, and kind with the singular purpose of getting me well.

I stayed in Crisis Residential for a month (I got an extended week) and I learned so much and had SUCH a great time, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're in need of a timeout. Lots and lots of groups, very well structured, the rules are really easy to understand and follow, and the staff genuinely cares about how you're feeling during your stay as well. You get to see your psychiatrist once a week to make sure your medication is helping, and the psychiatrists they have on staff are wonderful, as well as your therapist and if you're in the substance abuse program, they're kind too, from what I've heard. Once again, thank you Ecker, for helping me learn to manage my anxiety and various other symptoms. You've done a great job for a lot of people! 10/5 stars!

Been going to Family Guidance for awhile now and I absolutely recommend this methadone clinic to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are mostly friendly and it's easy to get into the clinic within a day or two. Once you get to the correct methadone dose the dope sickness is mostly gone and then you can slowly get back to a normal life. I've had a few counselors since going here and all were nice and professional but my current one Gary is Awesome. He seems to really care and is always helpful. I would most likely be dead if I didn't sign up at Family Guidance. If you're looking for a way to stop using dope give this clinic a try.
